She is one of my great heroes. Didn't they find an island with traces of her?
Off for now, good night.

I think they did. Good night and good dreams
No, just a simple fracture.
I'm glad for that, though I know it was still painful.

The worst thing was thinking I had dislocated my wrist so i didn't go to the drs until the next day, after a painful night. Love that the dr could reset the bone using traction.
I don't think I could have stood a night like that. I would have gone right to the ER.

Having a heart aneurysm and a deathly fear of hospitals means no emergency room. The accident happened after hours so I waited till I got thru to her office and her wonderful nurse. She called The Adult Trama Orthopedic ex-ray and was scheduled for a short time later. Because of the positional vertigo and the off and on again dizzy feeling I was not going to walk to the train as right as my fear of falling has heightened so called a cab.
CONGRATS!!! I love the name!

I had surgery on my foot 2 weeks ago. They removed a bunion which also pushed my metatarsal connected to my big toe away from the joint.
Thank you! I am impatient for the dancing to start!

Yes not my year since May, Tuesday evening I fell climbing a couple of steps to enter a building a guy passed in front of me talking on the phone I got dizzy and fell in the doorway. Got home and once my coat was off I knew something was wrong. Pain in the forearm and i couldn't even brush my fingers with a touch, Went to bed hoping it would improve. It didn't. Called my doctors office and spoke with her nurse and she called ahead to the orthopedic trama ex-ray scheduled an appt had enough time to eat and take my meds and grab a cab, Was very lucky to only have broken my radius near the wrist, Reset the bone by using traction and it only took about 10 minutes, then the cast and done, so lucky not to need surgery.
so true! My foot has been hurting since 1 of August. I got back from Egypt in November I saw the podiatrist she told me, surgery would need to be done since the bunion was making the metatarsal move. So she had to remove bunion, open the joint connect to metatarsal put a something to do with nailing joint which was a medical nail inside the joint and she had to do fusing. So she had to do 3 separate things. So foot was opened almost 4 inches. Pain medicine has been my saviour, itβs a very painful surgery.
