I am klutzy and hands are messed up, so crutches aren’t a good option. Plus my knee scoter has a bag on it to care things for me.
I forgot about your hands. hugs

Urg. You could never get me on skis.

as long as I could go my own pace and no steep slopes I enjoy it. Last time I did was back in 1984.
Wow, that was a long time ago!
The lag is driving me nuts, so I'm off for a while. When does the dancing start, darn it?

I wanted to the world outside of Montana, never dreamed I would get so far.
chuckles My mother took the same route. She joined the army as a nurse, ended up meeting my dad at a dance either in New Mexico or Texas (possibly at Nat's Ballroom here in Amarillo). He proposed and she took the major leap of resigning from the army, leaving everything and following him to Hawaii. That had to take guts.
Ouch! Sorry to hear that.

Wow that was a big decision for her!
Rondo is a stinker, I was trying to nap, and he decided it was time to sniff my toes and lick them the silly pooch!
I think my mother and her brother are the only ones who made it out of Montana. Donny only went to Wyoming, mom made it all the way down to Texas.
Back in a bit.

I am the one who went the furthest from home. But to be fair my one sister fears flying and only does it when she has to.
Thank you, hard to do anything with this cast, so now I peek in. Was lucky not to need surgery/ They used traction to reset the bone after numbing me. Only took about 10 minutes to reset, pretty neat and very fortunate for me. Should have seen me trying to make coffee this morning with just one hand.
I loved flying, the few times I did it. I loved looking out the window, especially when we were flying over a city where most houses had backyard pools. It blew my mind to see so many pools.
So it wasn't a compound fracture?

flying over farm land is beautiful or my favourite looking at foreign countries landscape. I saw huge frozen lakes in salt city Utah when I went to see my sister
