True true. Back then I didn't have the funds for such weapons, nor did I have a pet to be able to use em. But now I would definitely try to buy one asap if I somehow miss out on it in plot rewards. Knowing it'll become unbuyable later. Still kind of bugs me how gelatin wars in the past were biased on timezones. They would usually start while I was asleep, resulting in me being behind immediately at the start. Then the big boss would usually appear on some US holiday where people had a day off, while I had to go to school or work. I really like the way it was done last time. Gives everyone a fair chance at winning the core. And since the concotion is limited by an achievement anyway, it doesn't matter that much if a lot of cores go out. I'm really hoping it'll be similar this year.

I feel your pain. I was in the same boat. I had to save up and buy everything and had to live without ME for the longest time. My pet wasn't strong enough for the gelly wars I was around for and when he was strong enough, I always had something else going on and missed it.

To be fair, the start time had a lot to do with when Amber is awake/around to make sure the event was running smoothly.

I think what they did was a good start, but they made the overall damage needed too low imo. I think they need to raise it from 5 mil damage to something like 15 mil damage. I do miss the competitiveness that went with event challengers. Now it kinda feels very single player-ish. Maybe they could tie in some achievement, scroll or other item to team battling or top x battlers per tier. I'd really like to do some competitive team stuff where your team overall has to score the most points.

There's nothing that can be done to completely take away the timezome problem I guess. Subeta is a US website, so it will always release stuff at a time which is convenient for the staff. We can't expect them to get up at weird times for every event. I have to say I'm really pleased with the way they're trying to handle it. They're trying out many things, like having multiples of the big boss etc. One solution, which would probably not be doable, is to have an event timer tied to an account. When you reach a certain point in a plot, you get a button which sais it'll start a 24 hour event timer for you. You then have those 24 hours to complete whatever challenge there is. Then it doesn't matter in which timezone you're in, or whether you don't have time on mondays. You can press the button whenever you're ready. Ofcourse it would have to be limited, because an event has to end at some point. Maybe have a week or half a week to do it. It'll probably be too complex to do though, or people will press the button without knowing the implications and will complain afterward that their time expired or something.

Oooh, I'd love, LOVE a team competition. I'm not much of a "top 25 battlers get awesome loot" person, because I usually have stuff to do and will never ever get in the top 25. But a team competition would be wonderfull! I missed the islander and pirate plot. Kind of sad about that. Would love something like it.

Yeah it would be cool to have teams of like 10 people so then you can have people during one similar time zone and people from other similar time zones be around to compete. The teams should also be for different tiers, so teams could be something like tiers 1-3, tiers 4-6, tiers 11-12, etc and each one would have it's own set of challengers/loot

Hi waves .. I joined the site 3 Years ago, but never got around to using it.. (I think I signed up when my main 'go to site' was down) However, decided to give it another go yesterday, as everything seemed to be down and didn't want to waste my day off!! I really enjoyed looking around (especially the Battle and Training Area, as this is my main interest) I even bought CSC so I could auto train.. hehe

Anyways, live in Australia now (but am from New Zealand) Big Rugby Fans (both my Husband and I), but learning to enjoy Rugby League now we are in Oz, haha.. Play Pickleball, and looking forward to spending my down time around here, training my new Pet!

What tier is your pet? Battle quests are a great way to earn experience to increase your pet's stats. I too am getting my butt handed to me at the moment haha

I am only Tier 1.. started playing yesterday. I used one of my Loyalty Cask thingys to gain stats, (saving the other one for his Nightmare Paintjob) .. trained manually yesterday and put him in auto training today (just noticed it was under DEFENCE though) bleh!

oooh ok. Battle quests will be tough if your pet is newly trained. Auto training gets expensive quick! I personally train manually. Try these guys in the battle coliseum so you can get some experience:

Buttwing Bomber, Technicant, Willowisp, Angry Angry Arnold, Phungis

I send out this friendly reminder to do your battle quest on a daily basis. Most of the time I’m good at it. Sometimes not so good. But if you continue to do as many battle quests as you can you can train up your pet in no time. Well.. not going to lie, it will take some time but that’s the fun of it.

Welcome to Subeta, and welcome to the battle chat! It's so nice to see a new person get into battling straight away! Most new people tend to stay away from battling. You're doing great on the stat gains! Don't forget to occasionally read a book. Every book you read gives you one intelligence point, and every 16 intelligence points you gain one alchemy point. You'll need as much alchemy points as you can get because they enable you to equip scrolls in battle. Scrolls can give you a huge edge.

I meant form a team and then compete with other teams. For example, you are competing in the tier 4-6 bracket on team yellow against teams read, blue and green that are also in the tier 4-6 bracket. If you have multiple pets at different tiers then you could potentially join multiple teams with either your same friends or make new friends
