Nope. He has tons of potions, a lot that are OPB and over heal him. He has some infinite use potions, including 3 blackout potions that disable the use of 1 weapon for two turns. Not a big deal normally, but it allows him to heal for a lot if he keeps using them and healing.

Kain was pretty tough. His simple shield I think was a pain in the butt
