In other news, finally bought my Frostbite Amulet and started putting wins on Surge! Felt pretty silly paying the summer premium, but I figure being able to get to 25 BQs every day will pay for itself soon enough. Time to celebrate!

I have 800 CSC saved up and can probably break 850 by July 1st. I have no CS challengers except for Forj and Meatslab. What should I buy?

I'll probably grab N'sa to make use of those last 100 credits, and the 250-credit standouts seem to be Crithbolcan for the Aftershocks and Sophie for the Paintbrush Blades. (Unstable Sample Syringe seems better, but not an extra challenger's worth of better.) But I'm not sure about the last one. Any other loot worth looking at, or should I just go Baenwurath for max EXP? [sub]you know... eventually.[/sub]

Uhh, I remember that Cinthilocks is hell. But it depends on your stats. There's a point where she gains really annoying weapons. Not sure where the turning point is. Maybe it depends on your pets tier?

Yeah, I believe at Tier 13, she becomes a lot more difficult. So you probably want to try beating her before your pet gets to that point, at least 5 wins for the loot anyway.

So they just keep getting magically stronger via auto-training. But I'm gonna have to deal with it soon, because I decided to get everyone 1k in every stat and they are almost there. Then I want to start uneven building. Which requires less laziness sobs ;_: I'm so not worried about capping though. That's just gonna stress me out. XD

I agree with that Cinthi would be the best loot-wise. I love the bomb. :D I would keep an eye on the Unstable Sample Syringe, I swear they were going for a lot cheaper a while ago... It's a great weapon but man that Mutant Scientist is really tough and you'll probably want the weapon before you're able to beat her. Also YESSS, I need that concoction! I ended up buying a core, since I saw one for sale and I just know the war will end up coming when I'm too busy to do butt-loads of damage to a boss. But ya!! Bring it on, jellies!!

Hmm I don't really remember fighting Cinthi. I only took her down 5 times, and had to lose 8 times to get there. I have heard the horror stories of how bad she is at T13! I happened to post Philo's stats at the time that I took down Cinthi: Health: 5016 Strength: 4000 Defense: 3525 Speed: 2670 AP: 157

I remember Cinthi being a breeze for a later t12 pet. But t13 she’s verrrrry annoying.

The challengers probably shouldn’t be judged from a financial standpoint because it will almost always be cheaper to buy the point. People will commonly knock 25-50% off shop search for loot.

Cricothitan (sp?) might be the one exception to this because of aftershock

You should judge it on if it’s a challenge you find interesting and want to battle against.

If you want a paintbrush blade just go buy it. Buy Sophie if you think it would be fun to try to max her out.

Cinthilocks is a pain in the butt. She is easier at T12. High T11 can get wins with high health builds. At least 4.8k - 5k health will get you 5 wins and a high T12 can easily get 10 wins. She likes to steal and freeze. OHS is really good for her and then either a water or light block. I think Oranos uses OHS + prod eyeball. For scrolls, I went for healing/defense since she has partial freeze protection.

Capping takes a long time and a ton of resources. High T12/low T13 can get 10 wins on anything. If you want to farm certain opponents, then aim for a little further along in T13. Then it's probably better to focus on your other pets for event challengers.

After fighting Lukien, Cinthi is not that bad as it turns out xP

Personally, I buy the opponents if they give out a lot of experience. Worthwhile loot is a bonus. Without a complete battle set, the challengers you definitely want to buy for the loot are crithbolcan, mama forj, the scientist and meatslab.

Ya and capping has like no appeal to me, honestly. I want to hit T13 at some point, partially because I want a Dark Goddess Rod for myself and all that jazz. But ya the actual cap means nothing to me. XD I mean Philo isn't even mid-T12 yet and he wails on almost everything so I guess I'm just overall very chill with battling right now. I have a pile of almost 300 tomes that I want to dump on him (namely for intel), but the grind-i-ness is stopping me and also just not motivated enough. Pfft.

I just checked on my babies and the first one hit T7! WOW! I remember when Philo first hit T8, I feel like that was the first super exciting tier for me.

I would just dump it on him and call it a day. Then you can finish off whatever challengers you have left and have the intel available to you. There's no reason to save tomes unless you're saving them to boost to a certain tier or beat a certain challenger. If they are all for philo, just use them on him and start saving tomes for your other pets.

Ya I totally hear ya, I'm not saving them for some special reason! I literally just haven't been able to motivate myself to click 300 times lmao. I collected them over like months during the winter, just super casually because I knew I needed to get his AP up and it was the most economic way. Well actually I collected like 1400 amulets and turned them into tomes lmao. Honestly tomes are so tedious to use in bulk, at least turning in amulets is easy _

Aww, yes I love Pylot! I hope she comes back too, she was always ready to chat about battle and speculate about the next challengers so she's definitely missed. IRL is tough, hopefully she finds the extra time that she needs to feel better :)

In other news, I just beat Prodigy the fist time. Somehow it was the first time I got him in BQs and I wiped the floor with him so that was fun! I should go take him on for real, not just BQs. But first, I must finish my notes for my upcoming D&D sesh!
