So what's the gimmick with The Troll again? Pretty sure it has something to do with using certain weapons against him at certain hours of the day? Is he even worth beating up?

So there's only one weapon that works at a given time and we know it's within T1-T3. Once someone reaches five wins, the weapon changes and a different weapon works.

However, if you wait to submit the fifth win, the weapon will continue to work for everyone and you can tell others which weapon is working. The problem is that people either accidentally or intentionally send the fifth win and we have to search for the weapon all over again. There are hundreds to look through.

If you decide to go at it alone, just remember to go to four wins with your pet, then four wins with all of your other pets. You can send a fifth win on one pet to get the loot. If you decide to tell other people which weapon is working, battle until the end on your fifth battle and do not press See Results at the end. You'll still get your loot because you battled until his HP hit 0, but when you wait to submit, the weapon will still work for everyone else.

The same applies to the 10th win.

sounds like a waste of time honestly. Considering the EXP output and loot drop ain't worth it either.

It's not so bad when you have a large group of people doing it, but on your own, I agree that it is a waste of time :/

So we'll see them at some point later this year, but IDK how. I don't know if it would be Mystery Box, because wouldn't the shop have to be open for that? Not sure if the coding for that would allow it.

Yeah, it has been a while. I'm still hoping we get a continuation of the Jaxon and Ian plot during Morostide. I think the first part was all the way back in 2014. ;~;

Even if not that, at least just some sort of plot would be nice. I know staff has been busy with a lot of other stuff though. Can't complain too much, I guess. Even the regular event items and stuff is always really nice!

I know they're busy churning out content, but two years between plots seems long by Subeta's standards :/ I just like the community and lore aspects of plots, and the battles of course ;)

I suppose I can afford to be a bit more patient, but the anticipation of having one at any time is on my mind :P

y'all whenever jacques freezes on the turn that i lose (after several turns of my budget freeze scrolls not doing their job), i feel my blood pressure increase

if nightlady doesn't give me any shrieks to replace my inconsistent perilous whirlpools... well i won't do anything in particular, but i'll sure feel sad about it

I love them too, they are really fun and it is cool to see everyone working together to figure out the clues or just chatting about what we think will happen next.

I know at one point it did seem like we were having plots almost every year. I just try to remind myself that we are kind of spoiled compared to some other pet sites. Lots of great content, a friendly and interactive staff, a nice community of users who like helping each other. This place is pretty great!

... I still want a plot too though :P

Do you want to borrow mine? You're closer to 10 wins than I am (only at 2) and IDK if I'll get around to fighting him any more today anyway, since I'm feeling kind of lazy.

Borrow these for now, get your wins in while there is still time. I won't need them back for a day or two.

I guess that, for me personally, during Bad Omens I finally got a plot where I could be a real battler after missing out on so many others and I really want another because Crimsyn has grown so much since then!

Bad Omens was one of the first event/plot things where I was able to do some major battling as well. I'm looking forward to hopefully being able to do even more damage against event opponents in the future, but now that I'm in Tier 12/almost Tier 13 it will be more competitive. Still fun though!
