I mean, I see what you're saying but I don't see how Intel via tomes should cost the same as it does via other stat boosters. In this particular comparison, the cost per stat per tome isn't reliant on what other boosters costs, it's reliant on what the tome costs. If you look at it the compared-to-other-booster-cost way, each health stat costs 390k. So your calculation should be more like 1.6m for 2 intel + 780k for 2 health, and the other 6 core stats are freebies?

Of course I'm kind of trying to compare apples to oranges, since tomes give intel and auto-training doesn't. Speaking strictly core-stat wise (to higher your Tier, not to actually battle realistically) - I do think it holds value up to around T7/8. That'd be if a person wasn't really using that pet though, just training it for the 'future'. At the end of the day, every pet does need a certain amount of core stats. (In my dead stop scenario, that'd be 1122 evenly trained stats) It is arguably cheaper to auto-train Health until that range, at least. Not that it'd make sense to get your level up and only use it for health and not other stats when you're in the 1k range.

I don't look at the other stats that way because I can train them and buy them with EXP. Intel is the exception because I can't get it anywhere besides boosters or books.

If I also take into account that I could do a significant amount of the training myself just by remembering to visit the training center, it becomes even less worthwhile.

I guess it all comes down to personal preference in the end, but I don't see an advantage to using it past the first few tiers.

For sure, I'm mostly trying to pinpoint the cheapest way to tier-up a pet, but there's a lot of variables that are hard to account for.
