Thank you! Though, clarifying, do you mean my dapper birb, or my nuclear birb? I literally changed it 3 minutes ago. :P I just love the Fevermore skin! It's so beautiful! And the body actually sticks to the base, for the most part, so clothing actually works!
oh what a dapper birb! i would love to dance with you but sadly masquerade has not started yet
lmao i was legit a second from editing the post to clarify cuz you changed HA's the second I posted hahahha I meant the Nuclear one, it's absolutely gorgeous - i adore the colour combination so much :D tHO THE MASQUERADE ONE IS BEAUTIFUL AS WELL AAAA LOOK AT THIS FANCY LOOKING BEAUTIFUL BIRB <3
I second - it's too bad we can't dance with u yet :'D
: congrats you jammy expletive XD
OMFG I never realised that the Lizard Minion Trap would actually give you things sometimes! I bought one a long while ago and then sold it as soon as I'd got the achievement! Yeah I should have been keeping better track of what was in my inventory, but that just means it never gave me anything cool enough to notice.
said it just right. Congrats you jammy expletive! :D

Most definitely! I have both the Trap and Repellent locked in my inventory, and have had them there for the last decade. :P Together, they give you a high chance of receiving the item in the random event (50% from the Trap, and 25% from the Repellent.) I honestly don't remember a single time I haven't gotten the item since investing. Most times, the RE doesn't give particularly great items. Sometimes the item is rare, but what feels like a good amount of time, it's a cheaper, trashable item.
But Guide To Constellations? Well, that more that covers for the price! I would've been so angry to get that event and not get the item, so I'm happy. It's only a 6mil investment that does pay itself off over time.
Do you keep those locked in your inventory?
Yep, I keep both locked in my inventory. They activate automatically when the random event happens.
Super late on this discussion but,
You currently have 2,808,610,980 sP! You are the 157th richest user on Subeta.
Just since I saw y'all pondering. I used to be top 100 but then I got lazy. And pools are rare, but they do happen! I got invited to one a couple years ago and got the achievement back then. I think we only needed 30 bil at that time to do it though.
Also hi I've barely been on Subeta in days.
Have to say, I'm pretty jealous. :P Would you mind sharing your typical sP saving routine? Quests? Restocking? Selling rares? Having never been over 300m, I just don't know where to begin.
Honestly, just questing. And I've been a member for 5ever so I don't have much to spend it on. :p Back when I did every quest every day and autopriced, I made like 5-7 mil a day easy. Wound up around...3.5 bil at my highest.
I also made quite a bit from battling and selling extras of my loot, but that requires a pretty substantial time investment. Still worth it in the end imo. It's easier now than it's ever been to train a new pet if you're willing to do battle quests every day.
Oh, and selling off a 15k wardrobe a couple years ago. That helped lol
Ah yeah. If I ever sold off my 14k wardrobe, I imagine I could make a killing, but I'm too attached to it. That side of the site was always my favorite. (Btw, love your outfit!)
Honestly, I should be better off, considering I've been on here for about 11 years, but I was never the best at actively earning. I think the motivation/dedication aspect hurt me. If I had been more active in the early years, I could've had a better stash of nifty loot to sell off. Alas.
Like, I always found questing to be difficult to maintain for longer than a month or so, simply because of how repetitively boring it was. Let alone pricing a shop without an autopricer active! Same with battling- I started training my main pet years ago, but really wasn't dedicated until the past year or two. She's half way through T11 now, so definitely pretty well off. But I still find myself too stingy to invest in the Cash Shop challengers (let alone sell any loot that I typically hoard.) Having a second battler would certainly make things easier for loot selling, but just thinking about how much time I've invested into my main one is exhausting. Weapons are definitely a huge sP sink too. Prices have only inflated, and there aren't nearly as good weapons coming out lately, so I'm stuck going after nearly unobtainable weapon sets.
If I ever won the lottery, I imagine I could drop a lot of money buying up old CS challengers, and I would have an absolute blast tearing them apart! New challengers are incredibly fun, and I'm finally at a stage where I can beat a ton of them!
Over here with my 1 year account, record of 200m in bank account, T5 battler ... I'm just eating popcorn while reading this and imagining the distant future when I grow up and can be like you two :D

@ Chocolate Thank you! And I can see why you love the wardrobe, you make lovely avatars. (I might have creeped your style file lol) It actually helped me a lot when I cleaned out my wardrobe. I just had so much cheap stuff clogging it up I could never sort through it and make new avatars. Once I got rid of all the old cheap junk, I found all kinds of inspiration.
And yeah I feel you. I used to watch youtube videos while I quested, and that made it a lot more bearable, but it did get old. That's why I haven't bothered in I couldn't tell you how many months. xD Now I just buy csc with real money if I really need something. Custom wears are gonna be the death of me, I swear.
Mid-T11 is nothing to sneeze at! Multiple pets are cool, but I'm not actually sure they're worth it. I've got six pets T7 or higher and I never have time to battle with more than 1-2 of them. I know what you mean about weapons too. It seemed like a couple years ago they released a few really good ones that didn't cost a billion sP but there hasn't been much since then. The CS challengers have been my favorite thing to happen on this site in years! I've bought every one since the beginning, and the last reset was awesome. I got to see just how much progress my smaller pets had made and it was so rewarding to see the work pay off. Hopefully they'll bring them back again for Black Friday this year and you can knock some of 'em out!
Hey you're doing great for a newer user! With a start like that, I think you're talking about a not-so-distant future. c;
Ditto what Archer said- for a year old account, you're doing amazingly! A hell of a lot better than I was my first year! With daily BQs, the tiers really come quite quickly (while I started on my pet before BQs were even a thing, I unfortunately just took a long time to fully appreciate their worth after the fact.)
<3 I do wish I was on Style File back in its heyday. I've always loved HA making, but I guess I just missed the curve on that front. While I would love to make a buck on the wardrobe items I never sell, I'm just frozen from removing them. The constant, "well, I don't know if I ever will use it" (because I honestly do find uses for never used items pretty frequently), as well as the "well, they might revamp it at some point, and I don't want to miss out!" Plus the handful of achievements that use older wearables. Ah well, it'll continue to be my happy little hoard.
CWs though... I purposely tried to stay away from them. I know I would spend way, way too much actual money on them if I ever "broke the seal." That being said, I am still amazed at the art coming from that area, and forever jealous of a lot of the HA makers utilizing CWs. They're always just so gorgeous!
They should definitely bring back the 2017 and past challengers in the BF sale, at the very least. I just need to not spend so much money on Vanity sets, and actually buy the challengers. :D I think some of the problem with the weapons is that they're not being re-released as much. People figure out that they're really good, they slowly start being suggested more and more, and sellers get bought out. Like, on the small scale, look at Nacho's Secret Stuff. It was 10m, and then people realized that it was amazing in the Gelatin War. Suddenly it was unbuyable. Then, despite people begging for it to be re-released, it wasn't brought back with Nacho during Survival. Not enough to go around.
thank you both! <3 One of the really nice things about Subeta is that people are really nice. HAs and so on are fun, and catching a rarity or deal is satisfying, but it's always the interactions with other people that leave me with the warm fuzzies.

Four years and I'm still waiting for this to happen. The only thing somewhat keeping me up is a friendly competition with [user=Mage-of-Space]. It's interesting when one of us gets something and the other one is mildly upset.
Also, completely irrelevant, but I'm so proud of it that I really really want to share: I finally managed to take a video and make a gif of the ridiculous way that my kitten prances through wet grass! gif She's so funny 😍
