Thanks! And congrats on your streak too, Truffula. It's tough to remember without an alert, especially when something comes up and life doesn't follow the usual routine. I think my best was 230-something and it got messed up by holiday stuff...I haven't made it back to that yet.

Yeah I think it was better when the Daleks couldn't fly too.

I do think think Universe got better it's second season - it always stays pretty dark (especially compared to SG1 and Atlantis), I mean they NEVER become a happy working team, still lots of divisions and in fighting but IDK it just started feeling like Stargate to me in the second season and there is more O'Neill and McKay. On the upside there's only two seasons so it not that big of a commitment (time wise).

I love horror, as long as it's a creature feature/sci-fi-esque. I've got almost no patience for slasher or other 'this could actually happen to you' horror. I haven't seen Black Mirror (I think I'm last person alive without NetFlix) but it sounds really good.

Speaking of Stargate, I'm nearly up to Rommie (Lexa Doig - from Andromeda, have you watched that?) being introduced as the new doctor and I can't wait. :D I love her, aaah.

Aaand hopefully any Trekkies will be proud, I've started Voyager! Entirely because of Woolsey. I should also finish off Discovery (the only other one I've seen). >.<

Oh I want to see Discovery!!! I love Star Trek, Jason Isaacs and Bryan Fuller (ugg give me ALL the Bryan Fuller TV). But sadly I don't have CBS All Access and I refuse to pay for CBS twice (I mean come on I'm already paying for it with my cable bill). I'm getting really sick of how many different subscriptions it takes to see stuff - stop spreading everything out! Watching for Woolsey is a 100% legit reason ;)

Yeah Lexa is great! The funny thing about Andromeda is that I have the entire series on DVD (picked it up super cheap at a second hand store) but haven't gotten around to watching it. I watched like half of the first season when it was originally on TV but didn't care for it much so I stopped watching it because it was on at a difficult time slot to catch for me. But I heard it got so much better as it went on (plus, you know, Kevin Sorbo HERCULES and Lexa). IDK why but you asking about Andromeda makes me wonder if you've seen Dark Matter?

Anything even remotely, sci-fi, fantasy or that end of horror is good by me. I actually really love gore, especially if it's over top, like Ash vs Evil Dead sobs that it's over WHY? or super beautiful like NBC's Hannibal.

It's annoying how everything is only accessible on different platforms! D: I'm in Australia and get Discovery on Netflix, but I know it's not available on Netflix in the US. It's all so complicated. :P So yeah, I have Netflix, Stan, ABC iview (free and shows some decent stuff) and SBS (free and rarely shows anything I want to see). And when I can't see something (like Killjoys) I get sad. Very sad.

I do love Lexa a lot. c: I watched Andromeda in its entirety when I was about 13-14. I did start rewatching it last year but forgot about it after a bit, haha. I should continue it again at some point. Nice going for getting it cheaply! I definitely recommend it but it's not as gripping for me now as it used to be, so I can understand not getting into it.

I finished Dark Matter when I visited the US and got to see seasons 2 and 3 on Netflix. It was great but aaah the cliffhanger ending whyyy. I'm so upset. Still. Wah.

Ughh, I like the sound of Ash vs Evil Dead's plotline but hell no, not for me! XD I know my likes and dislikes.

I only have cable - I really can't afford to add any streaming services on top of that (plus I would need to get a much better wifi router on top of that).

I will some day get around to actually watching Andromeda. I'm sure being able to just sit down and watch it in huge chunks instead of one episode a week will help too.

I loved Dark Matter, so much. I feel like it was the first really good humorous sci-fi I've found after Stargate. I liked how it covered all the traditional sci-fi tropes but didn't go overboard with trying to put a 'new spin' on any of them, just did them well instead and how mildly campy it was. Plus all the powerful female characters and just a ship based sci-fi with a crew that actually mostly liked each other. That cliff hanger is so heart breaking - the story was getting so big. I wish they would at least do a tv movie or two just to wrap things up. I hope you get the chance to catch the rest of Kill Joys. now that you bring up Kill Joys - I do think we've talked about this before lol

If you don't like gore Ash vs Evil Dead is 100% not for you. I've been a fan of Bruce Campbell since like 7 years old and will watch just about anything he's in, plus Lucy Lawless - even if I didn't like gore/horror or Army of Darkness I would've watched Ash vs Evil Dead lol Oh man some of the crap I've watched for Bruce sighs

10th doctor is my fav, closely followed by the 11th!

The 10th Doctor is my favorite too :D The 8th Doctor was my first Doctor.

My first was the 10th so that´s why perhaps, LOL. I think I caught some glimpses back then when my parents used to watch the old shows.

I don't think the 8th Doctor really counts as 'classic Who' he only had one, like made for the US market TV movie - that I just happen to catch back in the day (plus a series of novels, but I've only read like two).

Did you ever go back and watch the 9th Doctor?

Cable is pay tv, yeah? We don't have that. Just normal tv that we never watch. x) Totally understandable, they get expensive after a while. :o

Yeah, I feel like we're sort of going over the same old ground while bringing up some new things too. x) Oh well! I talk sci-fi near daily with my family, and it's always the same few things. XDD I mean really, I've seen Galaxy Quest at least 23 times. I can quote so much of it. But I will watch and discuss it anytime. <3

I did love that Dark Matter had powerful female characters! So well played. I'm enjoying seeing Two in iZombie at the moment, even as a small part. And Roger Cross is always amazing.

Haha, 10 is a lot of fun! My favourites are Pertwee and Baker (3 and 4). ^_^ The 11th is fun too and Capaldi is briilliant. My first was... bits of 3 and 4 when I was tiny? But then I watched 1-5 from the beginning as a kid (I haven't seen 6 or 7 but have seen all the rest).

You should definitely watch Dark Matter! I really enjoyed it, but yeah, it being cancelled sucked.

I went forward after the 10th. Have all the dvd´s neatly stored, LOL.
