Thank you for the list! I have to read them up. I don´t know them so far, perhaps they are not that well known in Europe. My grandma from my mother´s site is my idol when it comes to relatives. She rebelled against the nazis back then and saved her three young sons, otherwise they would have been sent to war in the last weeks of WW2. She rejected the Cross of Honour of the German Mother for having born 4 children and for that and the former mentioned, my granddad lost his public servant job and had to sweep the streets. I can only imagine how hard this was in the atmosphere of danger always surrounding them when not behaving like the regime demanded it.

Since it´s an infection carried over with breath and drops, you can kiss him like you want, not more harm done with this. ^-^ I hope he is better soon!

If that is what he has, but the meds they gave him don't seem to be working, he has been on them since Monday. They didn't properly diagnose him because he didn't have insurance to cover all the tests :(

We have some kind of influenza-like infection going around here which lasts 3 weeks or longer, I think it´s international, I heard it from some USA friends, too. It´s viral so not much you can do. You put him in bed and gave him some warm soup already. There are homeopathic remedies which can be taken when you feel the infection coming in which cut the infection and you heal quickly. With the disease already some days in, you have to go through and can only reduce the symptoms. We say about these flus: comes 3 days, stays 3 days, goes 3 days - so minimum 9 days of cold, alas.

Frida kahlo and Sylvia Plath were; to me, important because their works dealt with inner conflicts and mental health, such as depression which I myself deal with. Kahlo did it through painting and Plath through written works. They inspire me to write and help others through my own talents.

Yea XD however the fly back on the 16th was better than the previous flights :) At least I didn't throw up on the way down! Besides the earaches and the headaches... My group chat in the Chinese chatting app was wishing every women a happy three eight women's day last night (since it's their morning due to the time zone difference) and me and my fam being in Canada, we celebrated with them, so I celebrated quite early... xD

Oh wow, Billy the Kid! We even know him here in Germany, naturally, from the movies. :-) Nobody can help what ancestors we have, we can only consider and learn. ^-^ However, normally calm and sweet, I have inherited this stubborn steak from my granny, LOL. I clashed with many a chief physician during my pediatric nurse´s time because I just can´t stand inequity and snobby professional pride. Notwithstanding, we live in peace here and my life wasn´t on stake. It must have be horrible to live at this time in my country when you weren´t in line with the ruling elite or a member of the groups they persecuted.
