Yep my virus finally finished so I can take it off lol a day late and a dollar short. Could have had 4 darn it XD

500 grams potato, peeled and chopped 500 grams carrots 1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil 1 fresh ginger, chopped 1 tablespoon tomato paste 1/2 pumpkin chopped 500 ml cup vegetable broth + cream or cocos pulp 1/4 - 1/2 teaspoon chili flakes salt and ceyenne pepper or orange pepper to taste 1 tablespoon of honey cilantro for garnish gently roasting the ginger in olive oil filling up with veggie broth putting the potato, carrots, pumpkin into it (perhaps add some water) cook them until soft mash all of it pour cream or broth or cocos pulp (depends on taste) to it and mash again add spices decorate with cilantro yum! :-)

I will probably have to take Kodiak back in to the vet if he does not start improving. He is still really really nauseous even though he is on a high dose of anti-nausea medication (Ondansetron) and famotidine which aims to help ease the irritation in his stomach. His stomach also looks more swollen-red and the part adjacent to the incision site is filling more with fluid. I say filling with fluid because it does not feel or look like swelling, it really feels and settles like fluid. However, not fluid retention (like swelling of the ankles) his skin is pliable and soft, almost void of any tension at all.

He is sleeping behind me right now. He spent the morning feeling really nauseous but after some of his meds kicked in he was able to eat some food. I think he regretted eating though because he began to be really nauseous shortly after consuming some food. I just feel so much empathy towards him and all little animals who suffer. They don't understand why they feel so horrible and it just makes my heart hurt. Thank you for asking! hugs

You and I sound a lot alike. I'll end up making myself sick, without meaning to, worrying if one of my kitty babies has something wrong. Wherever they are, there I am.
I've slept in closets, kitchen floors, bathroom floors and bath tubs to keep close and let them know I'm right there for them. Plus I keep all their meds, favorite toys, treats to entice them to eat, syringe to push fluids etc.... Whatever the situation calls for.
My kitties treat me better than my family so I'll do anything that I can for them. Like bring in all the stray ones from outside!! ;-) lol
