Well yeah, I don't think trans fats are good for anyone. :) I don't feel sorry for people who are vegan, they usually seem to be really happy about it! But yes, it's really hard to be vegan and celiac--some people do it, but I have no idea how.

and thanks for your entries in my HA contest 💙
@ ulalena :pushpin Flyingkat ^ I'm sorry but this made me lol a bit...

What a cute pic with the scratching tree! LOL I made a design for your contest yesterday yet still have to work a little bit on it. :-)
You work out 30 minutes each day? That´s brave! :-)
That recipe sounds heavenly, I think I´ll brew it today. A little chai-like, it is. <3
Germany is still very strict with the CBD yet Netherlands which borders us is more relaxed. How are the if eaten? Is there a special taste to them? I am glad you got such a good use out of them and feel better! ^-^ Dancing sounds wonderful, too! Any special kind of dance?
Where do you live, then? So cold today, too? It snowed this night here. I am in Germany.
Did you get the ingredients for the tea? I am going to brew it today if hubby finds fresh sage and the tea posted.
I hope your weather is better today and you´re having a great weekend!

Are you feeling better today, love? ^-^ Your new lilac kitty crown is so sweet! <3

Stayed indoors and safe, had to log off last night due to the storm. Next town over from me had flooding so bad that they showed on the news that people actually got fish in their basements along with the flood waters. Plus statewide there are massive power outages with 450K without power and two more high tides to go and we still have high winds, one city had gusts of 93 MPH.
Uh, that sounds bad! Take care! ^-^ We ahd unusual storm and gusts this last winter, too. And last night, it snowed again. However, sping is in the air, it´ll be up to 10 ° Celsius (50 F) tomorrow which sounds unbelievable to me now with - 10 ° (14 F) at the moment. I hope this isn´t calling for a headache...... Squirrels are in a good mood today, though, playing around in the garden!

Thank you for holding it! It was fun. ^_^
That throat recipe sounds promising, too. Adding those ingrediants to list.
Thank you. I love wearing this outfit.
@ ulalena I stayed at home drinking my ginger tea and homemade soup my neighbor brought by. After work today, I am going to shop for the ingrediants for both recipes. (so if I can't find one thing, I can make the other).

If I claimed and missed you please tell me.
Same plan here, LOL. We are going to play Time Stories today with friends who love Sage Tea, too.

Okay, now it's officially getting ridiculous. I'm sounding like the german voice actor from sergeant hooks in police academy. My husband is laughing his *ss off but bought me some really nice chocolate to calm me down and got me the new Maigret movies with Rowan Atkinson. I've snatched our spelled pillow and made me a blanket fort on the couch. That's wellness now!
the ginger tea tastes really good. I think it tastes even better if you reheat it the next day.

I'm just so stressed out and worried right now.
Here is what happened. I have 3 boys, the youngest is 5 yrs old. He has alot of health issues and this year was his first year in public school pre-k. We had him in a private headstart school last year. He has missed 18 days of school for the entire year due to his illness. I have provided doctor notes to the school in order to appease the principal's request. I even had his gastroentoligust write a report explaining he health problems in detail. Well I recieved a phone call this week from the principal (said woman is a witch) she said she has decided he cannot go forward to kindergarten, even though he has straight A's. I argued that he has a medical condition and that ive provided plenty of proof showing that. She said it didn't matter, she turned us into the DA and DHS! Said that him missing so much school is against the law. Again I told her I had plenty of documentation I could provide showing he has a serious medical condition. The poor kid is rapidly losing weight, he was at the 57% for his again at the end of last summer, he is now in the 48% percentile for his age. We have had so much testing done and they still don't know what is wrong. He is due for more testing soon to do an endoscope. They think his esophagus isn't connected properly or is too small to allow his food to go down properly. He vomits often because he gets choked easily. I told her that's not right. For 1 the state we live in doesn't even require pre-k. For 2, if he were to repeated pre-k again he would be 6 in a class full of 4 yr olds. The only reason he didn't do kindergarten this year was because his birthday is 10 days past the cut off. If this were to happen, if he were to stay behind next year it would put him at 20 years old when he graduates high school. I homeschool my oldest, he has autism. So I have made the decision to pull my 5 yr old from public school and homeschool him. I also decided to pull our 9 yr old, he gets bullied so much it isn't even funny. He is very feminine, most his friends are girls. The boys are so mean to him. He has been begging to be homeschool for months. I know this is going to be so difficult, having all 3 boys doing school from home and a 2 year old (terrible twos are a real thing people) to chase around. I'm worried I'm not going to be a good enough teacher, but I just can't stand by and let this teacher mess with my kid like this. She was one of the main reasons we pulled our eldest from public school last year. She allowed bullying to become a daily thing with him. She didn't do anything to stop it and actually would blame my child for the bullying, said if he wouldn't annoy the other kids maybe they wouldn't pick on him. He can't control his actions sometimes, he is incrediably smart but his emotional state is complicated, he shows little to no empathy for others, he doesn't have a filter, he says what's true always no matter how it makes others feel. This he cannot control, it's just how my son is wires. This caused the other kids to push him away, shun him, and it got violent. One child grabbed him by the throat and held him against a wall last year. MY son got in trouble for this... they told him if he wouldn't talk so much and annoy the other children it wouldn't happen. The other child didn't get in a bit of trouble and my child came home with hand marks around his throat. That was the day I said enough enough and I pulled my eldest from public school.
Anyway y'all I'm so nervous about what is ahead of me. I KNOW it's going to better my children, they will be able to truly focus on their education, but that doesn't make it any easier. I terrified I'm not going to be good enough (I'm sure it's my anxiety making me feel that way)
Sorry for the novel... it just started pour out onto the page.
Give me a good mojito any day and I'm happy! I love adding different fruit to them for different flavors - traditional and blackberry are probably my favorites :)
First of all, I think you should contact your state department of education and file a complaint about the school. If you have pictures of the marks around your sons throat, I would send them in. The school has an obligation to not only intervene in cases like this but also to attempt to prevent further incidents. Neither of those obligations seem to be being met. No parent should have to pull their child out of school in order to keep them safe. YI recommend getting statements from the principal and teacher. Tell them put their responses in writing (that they are doing nothing) and see how they respond. It's always best to document everything you can if you end up needing to bring in a lawyer later. You are doing what you think is best for your children, and you obviously have their wellbeing at heart. Homeschooling them may seem overwhelming at first but given how much you care about making it a success, think of it as an opportunity. You're going to be "good enough" because you're going to give them the opportunity that they need to really learn. You and your kids will find a routine that works for you. The only caution I can give you is to not feel like you have to homeschool your children in a certain way. One of the major benefits to homeschooling is that it is flexible and you can find the environment, schedule, etc. that works best. A 'day in the life' at your house doesn't need to look like a day in the life of anyone else.
thanks hun. The incident with my eldest and the kid that choked him happened over a year ago. I tried to pursue it but in our small town one family against a very close and mostly related (seriously 60% of the staff is related at our school, its ridiculous)staff doesn't stand a chance. We aren't one of the wealthy families, therefore we are overlooked and not taken seriously. That's when I decided to pull him and he has done AMAZING this year in homeschool. I pray we will find our way though this new journey. The 2 younger boys are very social, it's going to be very different for them to not be around other kids everyday. But I think I can do this. I am at least going to give it one hell of a try.
It can be hard to get any sort of change in small town. That's one reason I always say just start higher, at the state department of education. In the education field (I have a degree in it) a lack of action on the part of an employee or school results in just as harsh scrutiny as a negative action on their part. I'm sure you'll find other ways for the boys to be social - through church, sports, or other activities.
