would you consider extending the dancing contest a few more days, maybe even just through this weekend? i'd really like to get all mine done & do them justice, but ves + a bunch of real life stuff have made this month crazy for me. and i know was also interested in entering but ran out of time

You certainly have noticed that there were not as much contests and games in Colovaria than before in the last weeks. One of the reasons is the new opening of a lot of Discord Channels with amazing contests this year. I cannot compete with this all on my own with the few CW designs and recolors I released over time. I see players participate much less frequently in the Colovaria contests and games now due to this because it is much more easy and often quicker to win gorgeous CWs and plenty of CSC in Discord Contests. I perfectly understand the enthusiasm concerning this. The prizes there are often amazing.
On the other hand, it is much work to cook up a contest or game or even a party which differ from the usual ones around here and find fitting prizes for them. For the time being, I am reducing the frequence of events starting with June.
Sincere and cordial thanks to the users who sent me prizes for the contests, they'll be used in the next months like planned and some are put safely away for the Colovaria Luminaire Calendar 2019 which I hope will come to life again this year. <3
I would particularly like to thank players who participate in most of my events, too, I know it isn't always easy to find sparse time in our fast-paced society. ^-^
Another thing is that I have less time to supervise events. Many of you know that my husband is very ill and needs a lot of my attention at the moment. I love to distract myself with Colovaria and I am thankful for your friendship and support. However, I may have less time to look up if every entry fits the rules if emergencies occur at home. In the past, I took pains to comment or message each player who entered a HA or entry not abiding the challenge rules. I may not have enough time for this now because I don't know what the next day brings in advance.
So from the bottom of my heart, please please please read the contest and pinging rules again every time you participate, even when the structure of the contest looks the same. By Subeta rules, I would have to skip entries not fitting the guidelines and I would be very sad to do this. I know you all spend a lot of time creating amazing HAs or other ideas and I would love to honor it. ^-^
So let me give you all a big hug and I hope for many wonderful events ahead of us! <3 I posted the new Midsummer Night's Dream HA Contest this morning and I hope you all like it. Welcome June!
Thank you so much for all you do for this group! You have been an incredible group admin and have supported all of us so much! Your contests are very creative and the prizes are wonderful. We completely understand that real life, especially your husband, have to take precedence over Subeta and Colovaria.
Please don't feel bad about not being able to do as much as you have in the past. We go through phases in life, and right now, it's much more important for you to take care of your husband than this community. We hope you'll be back in full vigor soon, and that your husband gets well and is better than ever!

Thank you for all you have done! It has been a wonderful journey but I understand that sometimes real life just needs to be taken care of first. If your husband needs you, then that is where you should be. We shall all still be around when things calm down for you.
I haven't been able to participate as much as I would like recently due to starting a new business and some health issues. I need to make some lifestyle changes, just a new chapter in my book of life!
Please keep us posted on how your hubby is doing and will watch for events as you have the time to have them in the future. It has true pleasure getting to know you and I wish you both well. See you at the next contest and know we all love you! <3
thanks so much for all the events and time you have put into this. I completely understand about your husband as mine has been very sick also. They need our attention and thats what we need to give them. As much as I miss your contests I understand so dont fret hun. We will still be here when you have time. I never participate in for prizes and I don't care about cws (I even do my best to create ha using no cws) if I skipped the last contests is just for my lack of time and enery to spend in subeta
