Haven't talked much since the gelatin war, how are things? Last night I started research on improving my battle supplies when I got two new scrolls from the morostide challengers. and I added to my library. I got the shriek after defeating nightlady 7 times when last year I could only defeat her 4 times. I also created another preparing to make the full mecha but it will be a while. I have 22/100 impossible tokens for the volatile component. This stuff gets expensive since I also like to make another copy for my wardrobe XD I have a copy of all the previous stages in my wardrobe so I have 3 helmets right now.

Oh yeah I realized I'm a dunce who has a in a pet treasure so I should probably add that to my set... I read through multiple guides on the bc forum but I still somehow feel like an idiot throughout it all XD

I built my pets as characters first so my second battle pet has ended up a lot smarter than my main one. He has about twice as much AP. Main: AP: 56 Tier: 12 To Next Tier: 15306 / 22001

Second: AP: 109 Tier: 7 To Next Tier: 3889 / 4400

That's cool! Yeah the Shriek scrolls are definitely useful as freezing scrolls, especially when you are trying to chain freeze an opponent as a strategy, they really come in handy along with the Psycho Smasher and Cold Blast scrolls, if you have either of those. And then along with whatever freezer item you have in your set, such as the helmet. Hopefully you can get those Impossible tokens soon-ish! If you work on doing BQs, you can get tokens from those battles, so if there are Impossible challengers you can beat from that, it'll help. :)

And yeah, AP can be tough to build up even for a dedicated pet lol. Carbonite has read almost 2000 books and has like 130 AP. I feel like more would be helpful, but I haven't felt like sinking sP into intel boosters and stuff yet. Maybe eventually, but so far he's been doing good with the scrolls in my set at least.

Do you have any particular goals at the moment, or just like working on progress in general? I'm still slowly working on getting Carbonite to Tier 13, and looking forward to beating Rouland some more this year to finish up that achievement (yay!). I still need to get back into doing BQs more regularly though for the EXP. ;~;

my goals right now are finishing the mecha, somehow defeating general error 10 times to get the psycho smasher scroll (not even defeated him once yet), finishing level 30 of battle quests (farthest I've done is 29), and I'm pouring all my exp into speed to bring it to 4k Level: 1263 Health: 4036 / 4036 Strength: 4023 Defense: 4000 Speed: 3247 Intelligence: 908

Not all necessarily in that order but stuff I'm thinking about right now. I don't think my main battle pet has read much if any holiday shop books, so no new years, skitters, menagerie etc. I should probably take the time to go through all those and get him caught up. I'm also thinking about other scrolls I should be getting. I almost bought last night but I hesitated since I'm not sure what I'm doing XD The state of my scroll library is pathetic right now.

I don't know if I can defeat Rouland at all, probably not. Some of the other challengers already out I wasn't able to defeat either. I'm back to not doing my battle quests, argh I'm so lazy. I was doing them daily for a while when I was grinding my sP goal and doing all quests. But I finished my goal and taking a break so not doing much. Already struggling to do Quentin's for the lumi items. I'm resting and gathering morostide treats.

General error can be tough, it helps the more you're able to freeze him. Also using the parched crystals and blessing of natural armor crystals so he can't freeze you and can't steal your weapons, as long as the blessings activate.

I have a couple of Cobalt Eternal scrolls, but I don't use them a whole lot. They can be pretty good for defense, I think I use them most against opponents that have healing disabled, since I usually use my Aftershocks scroll or freezing scrolls otherwise.

And I know how it goes, I've still been being lazy about doing quests and things too. I still love this site and want to participate and stuff, but it gets harder when more real life stuff is going on and just getting tired of the daily grind I guess, heh.

Also I don't know if you've seen them before, but has some really awesome guides to all of the challengers as far as like their stats and what sorts of icons their weapons do, if you're trying to beat certain opponents and wanting to see which of your weapons might be best to try against them.

There's a lot of information when it comes to battling, there's still some stuff I don't completely understand either lol. If you have any major questions about your set and stuff like that, she's another good person to ask. :)

The two scrolls I posted before are pretty much my best ones right now, the others I have don't feel worth mentioning and are almost all fire ones for some reason XD I realize I need an overhaul so that's what I'm up to lately.

The daily grind is tough especially if you're unmotivated. Each season I participate in this group dedicated to goals. {sP}rinting into the Harvest I usually start with a smallish goal I know I can reach in time (like 50-100m), and usually end up doubling it when I finish early, then rest for the rest of the season. Not sure, I guess announcing/posting a goal makes me feel more obligated to finish it.

Oh yes I saw that when I was looking for a strategy to defeat general error. I ended up googling and finding an in depth guide. The psycho smasher seems really important so I hope I can get one before much longer.

Good luck with the scrolls! I'd say as far as those go, having an infinite use healing scroll definitely helps, and then freezing scrolls of course. Those are probably like the two best types of scrolls, and then other ones that are single use heal and defensive scrolls like Cobalt and such are useful too. It just depends on whatever your strategy is. I see people in the battle chat mentioning all kinds of scrolls, but I feel like for most of those it's not necessarily worth going out and buying them if they're super expensive. I've been able to get by with mostly healing and freezing sorts of scrolls. The other ones can be nice if you were able to earn one if it was like an old event prize or something.

I don't know like what your CSC situation is, but if you can afford the CSC or sP price to get to unlock the challenger Crithbolcan, the Aftershocks scroll you get from it is probably the most recommended infinite use healing scroll. The challenger is technically an impossible one, but it's not as tough as the stats make it seem. If you wanted to give that a try, I could even lend you my Aftershocks scroll to use against him and other weapons that might be useful.

I have aftershocks on my wishlist but I forgot to research where it came from XD I don't see it in the cash shop right now do you think it will come for black friday? Even if it stays 250 I would be willing to pick it up then. Any battle stuff at black friday passes me by, I'm usually looking at wearables and tc items lol

They usually do bring back the old battle challenger unlocking items during Black Friday, so I'd say there's a good chance it will come back. I know they don't discount the battle stuff though, so it would still be 250 CSC. But I think that's still cheaper than what Aftershocks is selling for in user shops right now anyway.

I just demolished my forum points and quest points stash to buy books for my main battle pet and still ran out of points on each before I could finish xD 1 quest point I'm dying. Now I have a reason to quest I guess. Bought books from carnival, crypts, bathhouse, and blue building. AP went up by 10 to 66. I'll have to do all the holiday ones another time, I'm afraid to know how much this will dig in my stashes XD

Well at least we can earn more of the currencies every year, I guess. :P

Omg yes, I'm still trying to save crystals for that one horns and roses item, I can't believe they're taking it away already. I have like 19k crystals. I usually frag all my quest rewards under 30k.

Lol I don't think I really have a chance at getting that item this time around, so I'm just going for the experiment tail things since those are achievement items, and then whatever cheap stuff I'm missing for foods or wearables or whatever. The Horns and Roses items that are my favorites are the jacket which I got during the TS restock and the tail which is in the recycle shop. And then the eyes in the MC. So the horns are okay if I miss them for now I guess lol.

And I was able to beat Rouland 5 more times this year, so I finally got 10 for the achievement and the Manifesting Weapon. :)

I don't think I'll go for 10 right now though, I still have trick or treating and other stuff to do. ;~;

I like head decoration items so I might use the horns, otherwise I just like to collect all wearables. That being said I have not gotten the tail from the recycle center yet xD I have a really hard time getting points for that. I wish recycling worked like fragging where I could convert anything at any time. I have 21k crystals now, I think I can get it in time. I only have 1,700 rb points lol

I'm just chugging away trying to rebuild my quest points, forum points and getting exp biding my time for black friday.

I like collecting wearables too, so I would like to get the horns eventually if they get brought back again. But for now I'll prioritize other things lol.

Downtown is the least of my concerns & I'm thankful we have the site. I'm more concerned about RL and managing day by day. It'll eventually get better, but it's a slow process. take care
