I agree, but from I've seen in the two years I worked with her, she doesn't take advice very well and she barely listens to suggestions (unless it has to do with sanitation-I brought up that the knife we use to cut into chicken strips to double-check if they are done should be sanitized if it cuts into raw chicken.) I probably don't want to know how bad the water is, but my dogs and cats are drinking the water too. If it's only the water in the house that is bad though, the pets will be fine. That's crazy! At least Chris isn't like that to that extent. He always questions why I don't like his little brother, but he doesn't question it so much now. And he's really starting to notice things about his parents that have bothered me for years. The main thing, almost every single holiday has to be spent with them. In the 7 years, I have been with Chris, I have only spent Easter with my parents twice (one of those times my parents drove two hours to the in-laws). When Chris was deployed last year, my MIL pretty much expected me to spend Christmas with them. I really should have asked her if my family just went poof after I got married because it's always all about her being with her family. She already has asked us about think about when we can get together for Easter next year. In terms of the in-laws claiming they don't know my likes, they would probably just say that I've never really expressed what I like when I have. If I get another bottle of peach wine from them for xmas this year, I'm leaving it (I got a bottle last year and it was gross) I had never heard of Suicide Squad before either and I didn't go look for the comics after I watched the first movie. Yeah, Andrew Garfield was Spiderman in the second reboot. I was sort of interested, but not enough to actually watch the movies. From what I've read online, Tom Holland was able to convince Disney and Sony to work out a new deal so we can get more Spiderman. Sidenote: Robert Downey Jr. is playing a Victorian-era Dr. Doolittle and Tom Holland is voicing one of the animals. Ren Fest is fun, especially if you can make it to all the little shows that they have going on. The one in Kansas City has a Robin Hood and Little John skit and then there's a group called Bawdily Harm that sings songs (you can find 'em on Youtube). It's not really a big deal for me that I can't take any weapons in to the KC Ren Fest, it just looks really weird to have an empty sword frog on my belt. Been MIa for a bit. I went to Minnesota with my mom a couple of weeks ago to visit family, then once I got home I got into a bit of a cleaning and organizing kick. I got one room completely cleaned out and reorganized upstairs (all of the items my landlord left is either stuffed in a closet or in a corner of the room). Now I'm reorganizing my dressers and doing another clothing purge. I already got rid of 4 boxes of clothes last week.

OMG ugh i have a huge phobia about dealing with raw meat and stuff. Just freaks me out. I wash my hands 2 or 3 times and use hand sanitizer when I have to touch anything raw like that. I doubt her business is going to last very long, and it certainly wont make a lot of money for the time that it is open. Kinda sad really. She needs to learn how to listen before it is too late. Can you get one of those purifier things that hook up to your sink? Yeah it should be a little obvious why you don't like his little brother lol. I don't blame you! He sounds annoying, and unfortunately it does not seem like his going to outgrow it any time soon. Especially if his parents keep babying him. I would deff let his parents know that you want to spend time with your parents. That is just unreasonable to assume that you will spend every holiday with them. In the first year of knowing someone it is expected that you probably wouldn't know too much about someone without them telling you. but after 7 years they should not have to be told. They should have learned enough about you just from general observation. They have been in your home, and could look around to see what you like. Plus I am sure you have mentioned things just in passing. Either they aren't paying attention, or they really don't care. Either choice is rude :( I can't keep up with comics. I just don't understand them. There are so many different versions of a single character with so many storylines and different series. It gets confusing. Emily watched all of the spiderman movies. Tom Holland is deff our fave!!!! Comparing the other two to him really makes them look lame and boring. He has way more personality! Oh I saw a preview for that this week! Looks pretty good so far. The only Ren fest we have around here is usually in Detroit. Not interested in going there. Parking is a total nightmare! I need to get motivated! There is always something I should be doing, but never seem to get the energy up to actually do it. You are doing great! :D

Yeah, if I'm cooking at home with meat I wash my hands a few times before I do anything else. There are plenty of people in the community that want the place open year-round and she just gets really bitter because those people don't come in every single day that the place is open in the summer. I think we could, we just haven't spent the money on one. We fill jugs with filtered water from my parents' house because they see no point in us spending money on a temporary living situation. I honestly don't even know if a filter attachment would help the taste of this water though. I'm gonna go with they just don't really care. His mom knows that I sew because she has seen one of my projects. Chris and I have decided that this year we will give them a wishlist, which I hate doing but we're tired of getting gifts that we end up hauling to the thrift. Chris had drill this past weekend and his mom wanted him to get to their house earlier so he could go to the football game and watch his little brother play in the band. Needless to say, Chris didn't leave early enough to make it to the game because he wanted to spend more time with me. I think there's just going to have to be another really uncomfortable talk with them that includes holiday expectations because at some point Chris and I need to start our own traditions. And if we have kids, it's going to be much easier to drive to my parent's house than it will be to drive 2 hours to the in-laws. The only comics I have read are ones for video games, like Mass Effect and Dragon Age. Chris has read some Marvel comics but I think only some of the newer ones. He mostly just focuses on some of the Star Wars comics. It seems like now, Marvel has to have a female version of most characters....sorry but that's too much for me to keep track of. Tom has more personality and he's just really great at interacting with the fans. One thing I've seen online over and over again is that the casting for the Marvel movies has been pretty spot on and all the actors are essentially the characters they portray. I haven't watched the preview yet, but the casting list that I saw looks pretty great! It's a 4-hour drive for us to get to the KC Ren Fest, which means a very early morning and a long day. It rained on and off all day while we were there, but they never shut down so we got to enjoy everything. Thanks! But lately, I haven't had the energy to do much around the house. I pretty much need to tidy up part of every room and with most of the rooms, I need to figure out how I'm organizing the stuff or finding somewhere to put it. I worked on the one room upstairs for two or three days. I did manage to get a lot of laundry done over the weekend though.

wow she can't really expect the same people to come in every day! That would be crazy. You could always take it with you to your new place when you get one. That is really sad :( You two really need to have a talk with them. Especially since the holidays are right around the corner 0_0 I have read the SW books, but haven't seen any of the comics. They need to create new characters instead of trying to co-opt existing male characters. Shows a lack of imagination. That is how we end up with things like She Hulk, No thanks lol. Yeah he seems like a really sweet guy :) It looks good. Not 100% sure if we will see it in the theater or wait for the DVD. Daaaang that is way too much driving for me! I wish motivation came in a bottle lol. Eh for some reason it never showed on my HA anyway.
