12 windows? That is too much for me lol. He did it out of pure laziness :( and lack of care. Being the husband of one owner and the BIL of the rest of the owners he knew he wouldn't get fired. He was a terrible maintenance guy. Most of the time he was out of town at one of his son's games. It is great that he loved his son and wanted to support him. but you can't leave tennants high and dry when they have an emergency!
Raining off and on here as usual, but not too bad lately.
There is no way I would do all that driving. Especially every week. Plus it would be expensive the way gas prices are!
Dang that seems so rude! Not to mention having to spend a holiday with his youngest brother :( does not sound like a good time to me. I wouldn't want to try to teach him anything. Seems like he would throw a fit about everything! Not a good way for you to spend the day either, but at least you got to escape lol.
I hate when people try to nag or guilt me into doing something I don't want to do. Why can't people juste take the no and move on?!?!?

I don't get the whole time line at all!!!!! Some people are 5 years older and some are the same. How the hell does that work? How is Spiderman going to go back to school and pick up where he left off? Did they all die and come back? Antman's daughter is 5 years older so shouldn't at least half the people spiderman went to school with have graduated and moved on? What are the odds that anyone who appears in the next SM movie all got Thanosed and come back so they are all the same age? Sorry for the rant, but I really did not like that movie and all it did was confuse and annoy me :( Emily and I are going to watch the first avengers movies and ignore the last two lol. Living in denial! I don't think there will be another Guardians movie. I think when they fired that director the stars said they would not work without him so they put the movie on hold.
No worries :) I know how crazy it can get! Not much today. I have to babysit tomorrow. At least it is only one day this week.

I cleaned half of them last year because I don't think they had really been cleaned for a while. Dirt was caked onto the window sill below the window and the bottom of the window, so the bucket of water turned brown really quick. That's terrible. The maintenance guys at the apartment I lived in were terrible too. I had water coming out of a light fixture in the kitchen and they didn't come look at it right away. The manager of the duplex was great though. He lived across town and didn't complain about driving over to unlock our door when we locked ourselves out once.
It rained Thursday morning and it's supposed to rain on Sunday.
Gas prices are pretty bad here too, though still below $3, but I have to refuel my pickup after a 4-hour round trip. I have no idea why MIL honestly thinks she needs to call once a week because not that much goes on for us.
Yeah, the in-laws are pretty good about giving us late notice about things, including when they might visit. Unless they have something planned way in advance, then they expect us to drop everything and be available that day. It was not enjoyable, his little brother is still pretty annoying. Surprisingly, he didn't throw any fits while I was there, but he had been warned beforehand that if he goofed off, didn't take things seriously or pointed a gun at anyone, he was done for the day and the latter would get him tackled. His stance was terrible though, he never kept his feet wide enough apart so he was wobbly the whole time. Work was a nice escape from their visit, but they didn't leave until after 8 p.m.
I know, it was so annoying. How many times do I have to say no or I don't know who could work in place of me. Right now, I'm getting annoyed with working at the diner. It's great being able to hang out with my friend so often but it sucks when Chris and I work opposite shifts the same day for multiple days.
My biggest worry about Lasik is that something would go wrong and I'd end up with worse eyesight.
The biggest issue I had with bangs back in high school was that I had to straighten them every day in order for them to look nice because it never failed that they would curl in the wrong direction. I play around with where I part my hair, so that's something I'll have to take into consideration too if I try out bangs.

I haven't done any reading on this, but I think we are supposed to assume that Spiderman's friends disappeared with the snap. However, Tom Holland was asked in an interview why he and his friends are still in high school when the second movie takes place 5 years after the first and he had no answer. So maybe that wasn't taken into consideration at all.
I did read something that said since Thano's snap removed half the human population, we have to consider that that could have possible removed half of the government officials. So we could also assume that possibly half of the teachers were gone too, so then how long would it take to find people to step up and take their place? There's just a lot of things that I don't think were really thought through for the film.
James Gunn was rehired to direct the third Guardians film. There hasn't really been much said, but the film's release has been pushed back to 2020 since Gunn is also working on Suicide Squad 2. I read an article (I don't know if these are just rumors, though) Rocket might get his story arc completed and Starlord and Nebula may become closer friends. I'm not sure if I could find that article back though.
I don't know who handles the maintenance here, but they stink! Our toilet was messed up today and I could not get it to flush. Water was coming out at the bottom and it was backing up into the laundry room (where the water heater and boiler thing are). I had to call the management company and the lady told me that they would send an email to the plumber people and see if they could come out tonight. The guy calls me 2 hours later and says that he could come out tomorrow morning. All night without a working toilet?!?!? I worked on it over and over until I finally got it flushing again. They should pay me for fixing it!
I hate getting short notice for anything, I always want to feel prepared well in advance of anything. Ouch that was a long visit :(
How do they think that you know anyone to work for them? They need to do their own hiring unless they want to pay you to find people lol. Yeah different schedules suck.
That is one of my big fears too.
Aren't there fake bangs or something that look like bangs that you can sorta clip in or something to just make it look like you have bangs without having to cut your hair?

The whole thing with the soul stone still bugs me! The point of the person who gets it is that they have to sacrafice someone they love. I get it that they were great friends and loved each other, but he did not sacrafice her. She sacraficed herself!!!! I just don't think he should have been able to get the stone that way.
I heard that Loki might show up in GotG 3. Could be a crazy rumor though. I do love me some Loki! ❤ so I will accept it lmao!

So far so good! I helped a friend move some stuff into her storage unit. She's getting divorced and moving into her parents place with her daughter until an apartment opens up for her (She's on a waiting list). Today is the silver jubilee for the Priest at the Church I sing at. That's going to be fun. Then tonight I get to play Ark (dinosaur video game) with my husband and his best friend. :)

The weather here has been pretty nice, not as humid as usual and slightly lower temperatures. By that I mean like 80s instead of 90s lol :P
