Thanks :) Congrats on the new furniture! I need to save up for a new couch. Ours is really pititful. I need to clean the kitchen. Walls and all. I bought some new things to go on the walls and some new curtains. They used super cheap paint on the walls in here so they always look a little dingey. I just have to be careful about what I use on them. I wish I had the money to repaint, but who wants to invest that much in an apartment?
Yeah the paint job in our townhouse isn’t the greatest either. Mom wanted to paint the living room before we got the furniture but it didn’t work out that way lol. I didn’t want to pass by the first furniture we really agreed on that was a decent price you know? Plus who knows how long the store would have that particular set. I have stuff that needs to get hung in my bedroom but I’m waiting until I get the “new” dresser I got into my room so I can arrange everything and then figure out how to make the wall stuff compliment it.
The man who owned our building (they sold it last year to a big management company) when we moved in had his brother-in-law doing all the maintenance. The guy was super lazy! Most of the time we couldn't get the guy to do anything! He did the bare minimum at best. Our bedroom is the worst part, Not only is it painted crap brown, but there are big spots where it is just white primer. I could do better than that! 2 walls in the living room are a baby blue color. Not a bad color, but who paints an apartment with those colors? Most apartments are just painted creamy shades of white. I think he only used whatever paint was on clearance lol.
Oh dear. That sounds terrible! Our landlord isn’t always the most timely person but he has taken care of our big issues, like our back door when it stopped shutting and our heat when that broke. Baby blue can be nice if it’s done right but I’m not sure I would choose it for a living room. I’m definitely not a fan of brown though so ew. Our walls are painted a cream color and our ceilings are white. Not bad colors by any means but they didn’t use enough I think, I can see lines on one living room wall underneath the paint, I think it’s drywall studs or something. It’s not super attractive I’ll say that much. I would love to do light grey or something like that, not in your face color but not boring either.
Now when we need something done we have to go online and fill out a form 0_0 we even pay our rent online. The color isn't terrible, but I would have preferred a diff color for the living room. At least we didn't get the apartment with the yellow living room walls lol.
ahhh, gotcha. I work for a management company actually! But we manage homeowner associations, mostly condos and townhouses, but we do have a few that are single family. I feel like paying online is better most of the time, I can’t tell you how many times the mail has messed up with somebody’s check. Right, I get it. Maybe for like a bathroom or a little boys bedroom but probably not a living room color. Yellow? Oh dear. Those poor people lol.
We never paid by mail. I have lived in two apartments in the past 10 years and both times we had a regular landlord (not a company) and they always came out and picked up the rent in person. I got used to that. Yeah and when we pointed out to the maintenance guy that apartments should be more neutral colors he seemed surprised. The guy obviously was not a real maintenance guy. Never hire family sigh. I still say he just grabbed whatever paint was on clearance when he needed it lol.
Ah gotcha. Pfft, what a dummy. Somebody doesn’t watch HGTV lol. Omg I love that dress on your HA! So pretty!
I am so wiped lol. The old couch is out by the dumpster, man it was hard to get out! And holy cannoli there was stuff in it and under it. Got the corner table out too!
Deff not lol. I am surprised he didn't burn the building down! Thanks :D I finally got it today! I am hoping to get all the different color releases.
Probably a miracle lol. Oh ikr? I’m in love with the dress too, there’s so many colors! Too bad it’s so expensive to get a bunch!
Well since they aren't being released that often I am hoping I can keep up with them :D
I went into the wardrobe and search for sleeping bunny and holyyyyy cannoli! There’s so many colors already!
Yeah I have 4 so far. 2 of the rainbow dresses and . Now I am trying to get the new ones that are based on Disney princesses. I have this one for Belle and now this new one.
I love the opal one! I just have the saheric one right now. I’m eyeing the others that are in stock but I only have 944 CSC so I’d only be able to get one.
Yeah I can usually only buy one CW at a time. I am lucky to get one a month so I have to be picky. I wish they would open the pawn shop again :( The Saheric one is very pretty!
exactly! I wish they’d do that like once a month or every 2 months even, that would be so nice! I’m torn between getting a clothing item, getting a hair item, and getting a backdrop! Too many choices! dramatic sob
At least more than once a year! I always end up getting a clothing item. I rarely buy cw hair since I already have so many wigs. It has to be super special or at least dirt cheap lmao!
yeah really! I’m picky about hair I guess. So when I find a style I like, I want almost all the colors lol. I love CW backdrops too, there’s so many good ones!
I usually do that with regular hair. I bought all but one of the new tincture bottles. Most of the backgrounds I have are for holidays so I don't get to use them too often :( I might have to make Christmas in July this year lol.
The last time I was in my local Gamestop, I noticed that they had a few games for older systems, but I didn't notice any older systems on display (nothing older than the Wii). I'm saving my money up for a new pair of glasses later this summer, mine have gained a few more scratches. We'd love to have a coffee table in our living but we just don't have the space for it. It would end up getting in the way. Our couch is supposed to connect too, but the way we have it set up, some of the pieces can't connect. Ours have two wedges that are pretty much built-in side tables but for some reason, the connecting hardware is missing on one of them. I would love to have a chaise on our couch! I have to scrunch up too much take a nap on ours and I ended up sleeping with my neck at an odd angle. We've given our kitten empty tube-shaped boxes and he only crawled in so far before backing out. He loves boxes, but he gets bored with them pretty quickly. But if you throw the box away, he wants it again. My mom told me she would pay to get it fixed, but I first attempted to fix it myself. It was perfect and probably didn't look any better but I didn't want my mom to pay for it when I paid for the first one.
I think I had made it past 130, but I don't remember how long the streak was. Now I keep starting over because I keep forgetting.
I have a bunch of laundry to put away, but I keep putting it off. And the local diner opened for the summer, so I'm working there again. There's still stuff to get done around the house, but it can only get done when Chris and I aren't super busy.
Same here. The ground starts to get dry and then it rains for a few days. I need to have someone come out and trim my horse's hooves, but that's hard to do when it keeps raining and making him pen muddy.
I wasn't in the room when Chris went over my list with them, so I don't know how exactly she reacted, or how she reacted after we left. She had been texting us frequently for a few weeks and then stopped. Chris and I still need to figure out if we are spending any holidays with them this year or if we will spend all of them with my parents. I've also told Chris that we need to start figuring out our own family holiday traditions at some point because we can't keep traveling for every holiday.
They already have seasonal hours during the winter. I don't think I'm going to work there this summer, I don't want to work with people who don't know what they are doing.
If I'm really close to something and I don't have glasses on, I can see it sort of clearly but it's still fuzzy. If I'm far away from what I'm looking at without glasses, it's fuzzy to the point that I don't know what I'm looking at. I hate when someone asks me to look at something when I've taken my glasses off to clean them.
Now that I'm working at Snack Shack again and working outside more, my hair is either in a ponytail or a braid. I used to layer my hair, but I've realized that was only making my hair poofier and wasn't helping my curls out a whole bunch. Thankfully, I haven't gotten any migraines from having long hair.
The movie got out later than I expected. I knew it was three hours long, but I forgot to factor in the time spent waiting for the movie to start. So it was too late to get an ice cream cake that night. I did get two ice cream cupcakes from DQ yesterday, but I still want to get a cake. I don't know how full the theater ended up being for Endgame on Monday, I think most people watched it the first weekend. Detective Pikachu comes out this Friday, so Chris and I need to figure out when we can go watch that.
Yeah, especially if it's a breed that has a lot of energy. Chris and I just couldn't understand why these places would only adopt the dogs to homes that would keep them indoors. You can't keep an Australian Shepherd cooped up inside all day, especially if both owners work during the day.
