I can understand that lol. Even though I am a little burned out from the dancing, I still can't wait for Vesnali to start! I guess it is all the pretty flowers that will be floating around :D Awe I am so sorry to hear that. I hope your little one feels better soon hugs Oh wow that is so exciting. Good luck fingers crossed Let us know how it goes. I live near Detroit and it is always a little thrilling when movies are filmed there (or near there like Scream 4). I just never had the guts to go check em out lol. I know downtown would be insane!
Hi and yeah, I'm worn out from dancing, too. LOL - Same. I think I got everything I needed, but dancing wore me out. Funny that you mention CE filming near you. Sebastian Stan is filming near me. I usually like the Vesnali items...with the exception of the bug ones. Not big on bugs.
I am looking forward to the next event, but I am glad we get a little break in between! Your HA is beautiful!
I waited for 4 hours and did not manage to get a glimpse. I had to go back home and carpool kids after school. My friends who I was with got pics though!! So it wasn't a total bust. :)
that's pretty cool. :) I guess they are all doing side projects with their downtime.

4 Hours? Wow that is a long time lol. Yay at least you guys got some pics! Any chance we could get a peek at one?!?!?
as soon as I can figure out how to get them from my phone to on here. :) It's been a rough few days. I have one kid with pneumonia, one kid with a bad cold and spiking fever (not the flu though, so Yay!), and it's holy week so I'm super busy with Church choir.

Awe hugs sorry Hun. I know how tough it is when the little ones are sick :( hope they feel better soon!
Hope little ones feel better soon. Ya would have needed a telephoto lens to be far but have a better chance of snapping a pic... mmm handsome specimen of a human mmm, might need drool bucket ;)
For anyone interested in an update of my new apart
New apartment videos
Here are some videos I took during my visit last week. Beware shaky, moves fast, and I’m yapping in French. I had to do them quickly and I needed to cover a lot of info for myself.
The building is still under construction... the sample apartments were NOT finished. We had to be accompanied at all times, I had a hard time breathing due to dust, etc. The organization that will be the landlords (Residences Communautaires Ahuntsic) won’t get the keys before the end of May. Contractors were supposed to be done April 1st… ha, ha, ha!
Basically, they should have postponed the visits... but at least I have some idea of what it will look like. Once the construction is done, the contractors are supposed to clean and check everything is ok... so it'll be much nicer when I get the place.
Moving date: I chose Monday July 15th.

You can see my balcony: Look at the big red trash bin, right above there is a double balcony. The one on the further side (right) is mine. The balcony is one of the rare ones that has glass panels instead of bars for the railing. The glass is semi-transparent for privacy. Also, my balcony shares the same platform as my neighbour’s... I get a privacy wall. The ones above are close to each other but no privacy wall... mine is nicer :)
The apartment faces the street, North. It's one of the best views... houses are max 2 stories high and there's a street separating them from our building. I should be able to get plenty of light. The 2 other sides face parking lots and the back side shares a wall with one of the 3 fancy towers… the mega huge apartment complex for rich seniors. My building is the contractor’s way of giving back to the community… social housing but an upgrade from regular places :D

I got to see my apartment since the sample floor is the 2nd.
We were not allowed to see the laundry room or the bedroom... they locked the doors!
The heaters & electric sockets were not on the floor plan... it caused problems for the floorplan I had made… but I figured out a solution :)
The bathtub is LOWER than a regular tub... bummer for relaxing bubble baths but it might be easier to clean and get in/out of.
ISSUE: Even though I was accepted under "handicapped", the apartment won't be adapted (no bars)... even though it has some on the floor plan!!! I'm only getting an "adaptable" apartment. The CLSC used to provide a service... they no longer do. However, there is an organization that can adapt it... for a price. It'll go in the extra expenses I'll have to cover... I don't want to fall out of the tub :o Social worker is on the case.
Kitchen: The sink is shallow so it'll be easier for me to grab and wash things. The faucet is fancy... has a pullout hose in it.
Cool hidden feature: pull-out workspace that can be used as a small table.
Sample bedroom (not mine) https://drive.google.com/file/d/1EUeV4Pzzx_danemCQhjHSDmb8TIp-tKC/view
No idea if my ceiling will be like that... the layout will be different but it gives an idea.
=============================== I'm glad others will be moving in before... they can deal with the headaches and hopefully things will be better by the time I move in.
Air ventilation: There's a system that filters and makes the air circulate in the apartment... not air conditioning but it will help. I actually came up with the solution they'll use for those that want air conditioning: removable Plexiglas installed by maintenance person in spring, removed in fall. The air conditioner has to be "portable" so it sits on the floor and has a ventilation hose that attaches to an end glued on the Plexiglas.
Da, Da, Da That’s all for now folks!
Wow that place is huge! For some reason I was not expecting it to be so big lol
Hey and Hi everyone waves
It's larger to permit a wheelchair to use the space. I don't use one but if I ever did it is very useful ;) Right now I use 2 canes and eventually I'll get a rollator (walker with 4 wheels).
The place is adaptable; however, I'll have to pay a private company to come and make it safe for me... used to be the government but there are cutbacks.
Always cutbacks of one kind or another :(
Did they do the bonus weekend this month? I can't remember 0_0
I think it will probably be this weekend actually, starting sometime on Friday.
Oh yay thanks for the info :D I could not remember when the last one was!
No problem! It's usually the 3rd weekend of every month, kind of around the 20th of the month or so.
I guess I should have waited a little bit lol! Just saw the news :D Love the apple!
Lol well I guess they started it a bit early today! Sometimes they wait until the afternoon, but yeah anyway the items are pretty. :)
I love the item images, Not sure I would actually wear either one.
Sorry I've been MIA. Chris and I have been running all over the place getting things done and I've been working on the farm. Me too. The ceiling fans in our house do an okay job at cooling rooms down, but I've had to use a standing oscillating fan a few times too. We were able to turn the heat off for about a week and then winter decided to come back. Then it started to feel like summer, so we turned the heat off and opened windows, but temps have started dropping down into the 30's again. I've seen the dogs occasionally. I'm wondering if there were complaints about the dogs running into the road because I've only seen them out in the yard a few times. Free is very good! I've never had VIP before for that game, but every day you get to claim two pouches for free and you end up getting a reroll token, identifier scrolls and a key to use for special lockboxes. I've been playing Neverwinter often enough lately to reach level 65. We told her how long Chris had been home. She was under the assumption that he had just gotten home and then was a bit upset that he had been home for about 2 weeks. Her reaction was a bit over the top. It took a bit to realize that it was Chris and then she loudly sobbed for 3+ minutes. Chris will have more deployments in the future. But his mother did what I knew what she would do. Sunday afternoon when we were heading to play mini golf, she commented that she no longer needed to wear her 'remember everyone deployed' red bracelet because Chris is home. There's been quite a bit of turnover at the local co-op too. The new office employee/secretary doesn't know any of the prices or how to look them up in the system and it seems like they haven't hired another person to help out with the service shop and scale so it would probably be a nightmare during harvest. Brushed my dog today and her hair kept floating over to me. I ended up cleaning my clothes off with a lint roller. I hate it when hair gets stuck to my ears during a haircut! It's too much of a hassle to unbury my arms from the cape. It's also no fun when they ask if I like the cut while my glasses are sitting on the table. Main reason why I trim my own hair now. We rearranged the freezer for steaks and roasts and there would have been room for a cake too. We still haven't gotten an ice cream cake, mainly because I totally forgot about it, but maybe next week....if I remember... Yeah, I'd end up spending more money on the site too. I need to go through my CW wishlist. I've never got that done before the end of masq. so I missed out on some CW's I wanted.
That was my biggest issue with the mini NES (and all the mini systems, really), the fact that they come preloaded with games and there's no option to remove or add games. Most of the games were ones I wasn't really interested in. I found a store last weekend that games for older systems but they didn't have any games for the Dreamcast. My rib protested but it didn't hurt as much the next day. I wish there was a way I could rearrange the living room to make it feel larger but we are very limited in how we can set up furniture in that room. We are pretty limited on wall space in the bedroom too. We have one wall that is completely open and another wall that is half open (the other half is blocked by my dresser). There's some space on either side of the window but it's big enough for one thing on each side. And the closet takes up the last wall because it has two sets of doors. We want to get some puzzles put together and frames (Skyrim, Destiny, Fallout, other video games) and hang some of those above the bed, but we need to get other rooms tidied up first. Yeah, bigger means more room for vendors and more space for shows and games. The Ren Fest Chris and I went to had an arena for jousting but it wasn't very big. He did. He decided next time he'll wait longer between flights to text me. I was in the middle of vacuuming when he came home, so the floors were clean at least. Yeah, the vacuum stresses my cat out. He stares at it until it comes too close then runs off to stare at it from somewhere else. That story was pretty funny, especially how they followed the trail of poop back to the docking station.
No worries :) I figured you were busy. We had a couple of warm days and now it is back to cold again here too :( I had bought a little plant for the outside but I had to bring it in. I just hope the poor little thing lives. I wouldn't be surprised. At least the dogs are safer. Hopefully. I wish Emily could get free stuff on her games. Well dang. Not much of a shock though. Still kinda sad that her attitude is like that. Ugh sounds awful. Sounds like they are just being tossed into the job. That isn't good for anyone. Yeah I always hated that. It would be really tough now since my eyesight has gotten so bad. My big pumpkin head would just look like a blobby blur lmao. I have been cutting my own hair for years now. Oooh steaks and roasts sound so good right now! Get that cake!!! :P I need to go through my WL and get rid of the stuff I don't want anymore.
