I feel the same about vacation in general. It feels like forever since I’ve had a real one. Haha I bet he would be one of the ones that goes straight to running lol.

I know :( We love going to Frankenmuth. It is only an 1 1/2 hours away but it feels like it is a continent away from home. Everything is so much prettier and nicer. Yeah thankfully I wont have to babysit after this week. My poor back can't take it lol.

Yeah sometimes that just makes a difference. I want a trip longer than a few days that has nothing to do with going to see family in another state (except maybe the ones in Texas, I’ve only been there twice). I’d prefer a beach but at this point, I just want away. I do have one small trip to look forward to in the summer, the last few years we’ve been attending a sports convention in Chicago so I’m excited for that this year. We travel about an hour, hour and a half and spend the weekend there. It’s always a good time though. Hah I get it. You can’t hang anymore after a while. I’m lucky that my nephews are pretty self sufficient now. I see them a ton because they live right next door.

drags self in here trying to be more active Is it Spring Yet? My 10 yr old is sick with a stomach bug AGAIN! He just HAD one 6 weeks ago. I'm so done with being cooped up inside. I need to open windows and let a warm breeze in.

I wore a light jacket this morning while I was running errands. It's almost 60 here but the wind makes it feel colder. The sun is finally shining here but it's super windy. I had to move my trash can inside because the wind blew it over. I wish I could go for a bike ride but I'd get stuck in the mud :c I've just always assumed they might be strawberry. At least fruit juice shows the fruits on the labels so I know what not to buy, just wish every other fruity thing would do that too. I loved Fruit Roll Ups as a kid, then they stopped making the cherry ones 😢 We've got two years, so we should be able to save up enough money for the trip, if not, we can ask the in-laws to help out a bit since they supposedly were going to give us $2k if Chris and I eloped instead of having a wedding (I don't think they helped with anything for the wedding either, it was all my parents and me). I've looked through a photo album of pictures my grandfather took while he was stationed there and that got me interested. Years after he passed away, I found out he had always wanted to go back, but my grandmother wouldn't let him go. Then I started watching the new Hawaii Five-0 and while it's nice seeing parts of Hawaii on the show, I want to see it in person. I just won't go surfing because I can't swim. I went to Ireland 7 years ago for a college trip. It's a really beautiful country and I want to go back! I saw 3 castles while I was over there, two in England and Edinburgh Castle. Climbed over 600 steps at Warwick Castle to explore the battlements and see the views from up top. I didn't see any castles in Ireland, but I did see the outside of Muckross House. We were disappointed, but we were pretty understanding about it. I just wish I could have used my high school graduation gown for college instead of buying a new one, but the gowns for college were black. So now I have two gowns I've only used once. If they work with my face shape, I'll probably get them, as long as they aren't too expensive through Walmart. It will take some time to get used to wearing a different frame shape. That's kind of the way that town has been though. Since it's a large college town they don't really do anything when the bars play music too loud, and they don't really listen to the permanent residents very well. I lived a mile away from Aggieville and I could clearly hear the live music at one bar with windows closed. I was so glad when that bar closed.

Stupid government hoops shakes fist I renewed my driver's license today. I wanted to get the Read ID included but the county treasurer's office only has an examiner there twice a month and he wouldn't be there again until next Wednesday, so that won't get done until much later. No, and I'm sure he would roll around in the mud because he finds the messiest spots on the kitchen floor to roll in. We weren't happy with that uncle, he's a shyster. It's been decided the best way to communicate with him is through email because he will deny anything he said on the phone. They are, the newest one will be the most fun because it can do more than my basic machine. Last year, Joanns Fabric started released fabric for cosplay and at one point they had some reference material for it too. Of course, Pinterest would have loads of info and patterns as well. I've been wanting to make a costume(s) for RenFest but just haven't planned anything out. There are 6 people from high school that I still talk to who were either older or younger than me in school. Used to be 7, but there's one guy I don't talk to anymore and I hate being around him. I tried a fruity drink once and it tasted like Fruit Loops and was sickly sweet. I've tried 5 or 6 different kinds of beer and only liked one, but of course, I can't remember what the one I liked was called. Hard ciders aren't bad, but I prefer if they have some additional flavor too. Or putting their chair on it, then catching their chair on it when they try to get up. I need to look up if JcPenny's has any dresses that I might like, give myself a headstart. Or a hamburger and fries. I would never survive as a model. I'd end up injured just trying to walk down the runway lol The in-laws have. He stops for a few minutes then starts talking again. I think they need to just stop the movie and tell him that he needs to be quiet during a movie or he can't watch it with a big group. One of the times we babysat the kid, he talked during a movie and Chris paused it and essentially told the kid to shut up....it sort of worked. It rained this morning, but now the sun is shining. The wind is back though, strong enough to blow over my big trashcan so that had to get moved back inside. You're welcome! 😀 Ghost of a Tale was released yesterday for PS4, so I went to the PlayStation store while I was on the computer. I decided to check out the email settings to see why I never get any emails from PlayStation (I was never signed up for them) and remembered to check the messages setting too.

I saw something about that the last time I was at the SOS office. What the heck is it? Examiner? Sounds way too complicated. Lol a cute little mudball! Oh yeah get it all in writing! Pretty sad that has to be done with family. Wow I guess cosplay has come a long way! I should check out their site. At least you still have a few friends :D Eww I don't think I would like that drink either. They have some really pretty dresses there. Same! I gave up heels a very long time ago! I would never watch a movie with him. I would just get up and leave. Doesn't seem like he ever learns. We got rain here too. It is supposed to be off and on all day, but I am really hoping it is done now. I told her she needs to check all those settings!

It ended up in the 50s here and it feels sooo good. It rained some and was gloomy but I didn’t mind too much. It’s supposed to be about 60 tomorrow but it’ll be super windy. I don’t even care though because yay warmer weather! Yeah I think labels should definitely be more clear. I might not have big food allergies but there are others like you that do, so they should make that clear. I will say that obviously flights are one of the most expensive things but one thing in Hawaii that you should keep in mind is that they have basically a plastic tax. So bottles of water are more expensive and they don’t use plastic bags in stores much. It’s all about the reusable stuff so they can be more environmentally conscious. And really food in general there can be more than you expect since they have to import certain things and all that. I didn’t go surfing or want to really, I’m not a great swimmer myself. The one thing I really wanted to do was go on a zip line but I hurt myself before we could do it. I feel like even if you don’t do a bunch of big activities, it’s still totally worth being there and seeing all the beauty. Ooh I bet those castles were just as amazing. So much history in those places, I find it fascinating! It’s definitely on my bucket list. I don’t think I kept my gown to be honest, I’m not sure. I know I have my cap in a box though. Yeah it takes a little bit to get used to different styles. I know it was weird for me to start wearing these ones without the bottom rims. It’s gonna be weird to go back to having rims again. Speaking of glasses though, mine are in already! I got the call last night that they’re ready for pickup. I’m so excited! Oh my gosh that’s loud! ?

The Real ID will be required on a driver's license if you want to use it at airports starting next year in October. It's a pain because my country will only issue those when an examiner is there, so hopefully, they aren't making people do a driving test just to get a stinkin' star on their DL. He'd be cute until it was time for a bath, then he'd be a ball of death with razor sharp claws lol This uncle offered Chris and I his timeshare condo for our honeymoon and said there should be one available where ever we decided to go. We declined. It really has! I think all the big comicons have really helped it become more popular. Yeah, though we don't hang out as much as well should because we're all busy and lately the weather hasn't really been cooperative. I had told the bartender I didn't want a fruity drink either :/ It took me a while to figure out what it tasted like though. Chris and I were out with one of his friends, and that guy was disgusted that they had given me that drink and bought me a different one. Found some pretty dresses on their website, but none of them are available in any stores near me, so that might be a bust. I have two pairs of heels that I still wear, but I've found that wedges are easier for me to walk in now with fewer chances to roll an ankle. They did a Star Wars movie marathon one day and I refused to go, mainly because I didn't want to listen to the kid chatting through the movies. We got rain and wind yesterday, I lost power 4 times making it difficult to watch a movie. After the power went off the first time, I left the computer off and organized the pantry. Today, it's cold, windy and it attempted to snow this morning. I always forget to look over the settings. I changed mine last year. When Chris set my account up years ago, he just put in a random town and state(I think it was Hell, MI) and I decided it was time to change it to the state I do live in.

It ended up raining on and off a bunch last night and I lost power 4 times. It's cold and windy today but I heard it will be warmer this weekend. They should be and more people need to be understanding about how serious food allergies can be. I've dealt with people who didn't care at all about serious food allergies in a scholarship house. I rarely buy and drink bottled water because it tastes too weird to me, so I wouldn't have to worry about that too much. I can understand why they're environmentally conscious though, it is an island with only so much land mass and who wants to take up some of that land mass with a gigantic landfill. Whenever Chris and I take a trip somewhere, we're always go, go, go and then we're beat by day 2. We haven't really discussed the trip much yet, but I'd think we would possibly spend 5 days there at most. They were amazing. Warwick Castle was a lot of fun to visit. There was quite a bit of stuff to do, but since I was with a big group, I didn't really get to do everything that I wanted. Same with Edinburg Castle. I toured a few rooms but then everyone wanted to walk the Royal Mile. I also walked through a church in Coventry that was bombed during WWII, it was beautiful but also sad. I want to go back so I can actually take my time and see what I want to see, and maybe try to find out some information about my family that's from those countries. My high school graduation stuff is in a plastic tub stashed in a storage unit and I don't know where my college one is. I need to go through the high school grad stuff and donate the decorations that are in there. It didn't take me too long to get used to the first two pairs of the rectangular glasses I had, but it took months to get used to the pair I currently use. That's awesome! It's always great when stuff comes in sooner than expected! It was awful! Happened in the late spring and part way into summer when I wanted to have my windows open for a cool breeze. I thought it was happening down the block or across the street because I could hear a door slamming shut too. Then I looked up when live music was happening at certain bars and found out which bar the music was coming from. The singers were never really that great either.

The temperature was nice for the daylight hours here today, the weather however, was a bit crazy. Sunny and then gloomy and then sunny and the torrential downpour for like 5 minutes and then sunshine again. The wind picked up and it’s still going wild outside right now. I’m tired of that, I’ve had enough of getting my hair in my mouth, thank you. Thankfully it’s not caused our power to go out. Tomorrow’s going to be chilly and wet and just icky. Not looking forward to that. I think the weekend is supposed to be better. It’s crazy how lackadaisical people can be about it. It’s not funny when it could mean someone’s life, you know? I especially hate those stories of people messing with customers orders because they think the person is being entitled or whatever. While I know those people exist, it is not okay to change it because you THINK they are. They do it to protect the oceans too, gotta be nice to the fishies! I would definitely do research on the different islands and what they have to offer and see what area suits you and him, there’s so much to choose from! Wow, a bombed out church? That must have been a sight to see. Eerie but pretty in all it’s destruction. That’s one downfall to traveling with a group, you can’t just take your time and do what you want. I had that problem the last time I went to Disney, I was with my high school. Every other year, the music kids (choir, band, and orchestra) get to go on a trip and perform somewhere cool. That year was Disney and there was an itinerary and you had to be in certain places at certain times. Not as much freedom as I would’ve liked. I didn’t get to do a lot of stuff I wanted to. So I really hope to go back and really do it properly! So only my regular pair of glasses came in so far but I’m liking them. I can see so much better and the glare on the lights at night is much better too. The difference in the materials is gonna take some getting used to. Can’t wait for my computer ones to come in! I need to do some serious spring cleaning here soon. Especially in my room. I need to get rid of stuff and make it less cluttered! Ew, it’s one thing if the music is good but when it’s bad? Brutal!

In Michigan it looks like you just need to show a bunch of info. Not really sure. I don't plan on flying anywhere anyway lol. Awe ball of death! I would have declined too. Especially if you can't trust the guy! No telling what could go wrong. I would love to go to a comicon and an anicon (anecon?). Sometimes fruity can be a bit much. Of course. That is the way it works too often these days. I wanted to buy a playpen yesterday and I could only find the ones I wanted online and would take days to get. I finally just gave up and went to Target to look in person. Wedges are deff better to walk in then regular heels. Oh I would not have gone either, I can only imagine how much talking he did and how he probably tried to show of his "knowledge" about SW. Our cable went all wonky but thankfully we did not lose any power. Lol I know where that is :P

The weather was nice all weekend. It was freezing cold yesterday morning but got warm enough to be outside with a light sweater or no jacket at all. It was cool again today but I was able to go shopping without a coat. It's supposed to rain on Tuesday, just as everything is starting to finally dry from the snow. I'm so tired of running through mud. Friday was terrible, I got stuck in the mud 3 times. First time, a sock was the casualty and my right hip. Second time, I popped my big toe and I'm not 100% certain if it's just sprained or broken. The third time I fell, I drove my knee into the bucket of the tractor so that's bruised and sore. Ugh...wind. I have to have my hair in either a braid or bun but I still end up getting stabbed in the eye because I've got a bunch of short hairs around my face. I've heard stories like that too! Makes me leary to eat at places that serve a lot of fruity things. I once had a waiter tell me off for not telling him about my food allergy. I had ordered an alcoholic drink that had strawberry in it, but I had forgotten it had strawberry (and the print in the menu was tiny). He told me I should tell every waiter/waitress I ever have about my food allergy. Either he has a severe food allergy, knows someone who does, or has witnessed someone have a severe reaction. That too. It will depend on if we just stick to the main island or visit multiple islands. We've got a couple years to get everything figured out though. It was eerie but the architecture was beautiful. Mother nature has reclaimed some areas of the church. They had signs that you could read that went into more detail. We had a total of 5 free days to do whatever we wanted in the city we were in, and then 3 free nights for the same. I wanted to go on the haunted tour in Edinburg but by that point in the trip, I didn't have many pounds left. I did get to ride through Hyde Park on horseback though and ride the Tube. The only way I got to see inside Westminster was to attend a church service as they had already closed to tourists. Chris's school did that for the music kids too. He went to Disney. He's never mentioned anything else they did on the trip except Disney. My class went to Orlando our senior year and we had a pretty strict itinerary with only one free afternoon, which I spent at the Titanic the Experience museum. Yay for new glasses and seeing better! I hate driving at night because my astigmatism makes the glare from headlights and signs terrible. I had a coating on my glasses that was supposed to reduce the glare and I think that's worn off. The bedroom looks much nicer right now but it will get rearrange after Chris gets home. The outer wall isn't insulated very well, so cold air just comes right through. Right now, I have a small box filled with things to donate and a couple small piles of clothes, but I need to just put everything in a trash bag. Once Chris is home, I'll have him help me decide what other clothes to get rid of and he'll go through his stuff too. Some of those people shouldn't have been on stage or handed a mic, they were that bad.

Thank you so much for the birthday gifts! 😊 I don't plan to fly anywhere for about 2 years. Chris and I plan to go to Hawaii for our 5th anniversary. I hope it just ends up being that I just need to show info. I'll have Chris do it first so I have a better idea of what to expect. A cute ball of death, but a painful one. One who is currently whining because I was gone all day shopping. He would have used it as something to brag about, that he helped us pick where we wanted to go on our honeymoon or that he helped out with an important part of it. I'd love to go to a comicon too. My brother-in-law has been to the one in LA. I prefer knowing what fruits are in a fruity drink, but I always Chris test the drink if I'm not completely sure about it. Yeah, I buy most of my movies from Amazon now because I can never find them at Walmart. At least some of them are cheaper on Amazon. Chris and I are going to a PBR rodeo in April, so maybe I could persuade him to take me dress shopping while we are in a bigger city. They aren't any comfier but they are def more stable for my ankles. I have a pair of wedges that look like ankle boots and they are pretty much my go to if I wear heels with a long dress. Yeah, that's probably what he did along with the running commentary. I enjoyed a nice, quiet day at home. Plus side, MIL texted me Friday night saying she was looking forward to seeing me Monday and asked if I could still make it. I told her no, the weather has caused calving season to start roughly so I can't be gone from home for long periods of time. She never did tell me a time and I know I would have had to ask. The last time the power went out that night, it was out for maybe 3-4 minutes, then it never went back off. He wanted to put in random things but Playstation wouldn't allow it. The town had to match a state. I think Chris's main intention was to deter anyone from bugging me.....which didn't really work because I was always getting random scammy messages. I'm so tired of mud. I injured myself 3 times Friday because I got stuck: hip, toe, and knee. I'll be glad when everything is dry. I love rain, but not when everything is already muddy for weeks on end.

You are very welcome Hun hugs Oh that sounds like a wonderful trip :D Hopefully it wont be a hassle. Does it mean we can't fly at all if we don't have that? Awe he missed you! Ugh that is very annoying. I do not like people like that at all. Oh that huge one? That might be too big for me. Although I would have loved to be there when they did the huge SW panel and took everyone to a concert! Can he tell? Most of the time I have a hard time telling what is in it. yeah you should have better luck in a larger city. More choices to choose from. Sounds like a better alernative to heels :D Good for you! I am sure you will have a much better day! It is a shame that she could not be bothered to make actual plans with you. When the power goes out here it is torture. Poor Emily always freaks out and it is impossible to calm her down. Thankfully no one has really bugged Emily. Ugh I am sick of it too. I can't wait for dryer weather. Not hot, but at least not wet and miserable!

The weather has been alright. A little on the chilly side but this week it’s supposed to be warmer. Ouch, that sounds like it hurt! I hope that feels better now. Ugh I hate when the wind blows my hair into my face and it gets in my mouth, it makes me gag! At least he wasn’t yelling at you out of rudeness I guess. He meant well. All that sounds like so much fun. Our Disney trip was basically just the Disney parks. We had performances and stuff inside the parks. And each group got to do a workshop thing. The choir one was we got to record music to play over a movie clip. Like we learned the topsy turvy song from Hunchback of Notre Dame and got to play that over the movie clip and we also learned God Bless the Outcasts from that movie too. It was a really fun experience! Omg the titanic experience?! I’m so jealous! I would have loved to go see that! I’m totally obsessed with titanic documentaries and stuff. Seeing at night is so much better in these new glasses. My computer ones are ready but I just don’t have them yet, my sister was supposed to pick them up for me but she forgot. I already tell a difference in the headaches though with just having these new regular ones, being able to see more clear is doing wonders I think. I got a dresser from goodwill for 10 dollars the other day and I got a new hanging rack for some clothes so I’m totally going to be on a mission to clear some clutter and rearrange in my room this weekend. I plan on painting the dresser eventually but I’m going to have to wait until the weather is warm enough to be outside to do it properly. I must have missed it but happy (belated) birthday!

hugs It should be rather enjoyable! I've been wanting to go to Hawaii for years after I found out my grandfather was stationed there during WWII and my grandmother never let him go back to revisit the island. You will still be able to fly, you just won't be able to use your DL as an ID to board the plan, you'll have to use a passport. He doesn't like it when I'm gone all day. Makes me wonder just what exactly he does when I'm not here. Yesterday, my dog ran off. I let her out to run around while I did some work outside and poof she was gone. I spent 15-20 minutes walking around shouting her name before I drove around to start looking for her. My mom came out and helped. Finally found her, she had run through 2 pastures and a field......so her free-running privileges have been revoked temporarily. I don't either. Just do something nice for someone and be done with it, don't use it as a way to make yourself appear like a better person. Yup, the huge one. It might be too big for me too since I have sensory issues if I'm in a large crowd of people. It would also require flying to California and dealing with the high prices everywhere. I think my brother-in-law said cabs were really expensive and food was too. That would have been awesome! I'm not a huge SW fan, but I do like the music. Breaking Benjamin played a SW montage at one of their concerts that I went to, and that was pretty cool. He can, for the most part. There was one drink I ordered at Applebee's that has strawberry in it and I totally forgot about that. So when my drink arrived and had a pink tinge, I handed it to Chris to try and he was able to taste the strawberry. That's my hope. I know a lot of kids in high school always went to one of the bigger cities to look for their prom dress. I had a busy day yesterday, didn't get home until after 5. I wouldn't have made it to the lunch anyway if I hadn't canceled on her. I was busy helping move two cow/calf pairs out of the barn and into a bigger pen, catching one of my cows that needed doctoring, and then catching two cows that were headed for the sale barn. Then there was some other work that needed to be done. It is pretty sad that the MIL can't put in more effort. She's always said that if Chris and I were to break up, she'd claim me as her daughter and disown Chris...yet she claims she doesn't know what to get me for gifts hmmm. I just got a card from the in-laws and I bet they have gifts for Chris sitting at their house. I don't have a generator, so I have to either deal with the dark or use a lantern. I can sort of walk around the house without any light, but I still stumble on stuff. I sort of freak out too, especially if I start hearing weird noises. Not related to the power going out, but I've always had an issue going upstairs or downstairs at night. As a kid, I could only go upstairs at night if I carried one of my Lamp Chop puppets with me. That's good. I've mostly only been bugged by people in the clan I'm in for one video game. The other random people that have messaged me always get blocked. It's finally starting to dry out, but it rained today and it's supposed to rain all weekend. I love rain but not when the ground is already too saturated and I'm sinking six inches down in the mud.

It's been cooler here too and it's supposed to rain all weekend. My hip and knee feel better but my toe still hurts some. I've got it buddy taped, so hopefully, that helps it heal quicker. I hate it when I can feel a hair in my mouth but can't find it Yeah, and it was nice to come across someone at a restaurant that was actually concerned about food allergies. I think Chris was only in the marching band. I'd have to ask him what all they did while they were there, if they just stayed at Disney or if they went to other places. The Titanic Experience museum was amazing! You get a card with information about a passenger who was on the Titanic. The first room you go into is set up so feel like you are boarding the Titanic. The tour guide is in character the whole time. In the first room, he had us look at our cards to determine if we were first class or third class. I was the only one in my group who was third class. Then you tour through the 'ship' and finally relive the events of the fateful night. The tour ends at a wall with the names of all the passengers and you can search for the name that was on your card to see if they survived or perished. If I ever make it back to Orlando, I would go again. I also want to go to the Titanic museum in Branson, MO. My prescription hasn't changed much in the last 5+ years, so I haven't really bothered to get new glasses, but I think I'll have to this summer. I'm tired of lights having little halos at night. I'm sure my eyes will be happier when they no longer have to see past scratches too. Good to hear that the new glasses are working out! $10 is a really good price for a dresser! The Goodwills around here try to sell them for anywhere from $20 to $40 or more. I went to the thrift stores on Saturday and Sunday and the only clothing I bought was 3 t-shirts and a fleece pullover. I told myself that my dressers are already full, so there's no room to try and stuff more jeans or leggings into them. Not to say that I won't buy some later, but for the time being, I had a small victory. I need to fix one of the drawers for one dresser, it keeps popping apart on the side, just needs some glue. Thank you! It was a pretty low-key birthday this year but it was better than last year. I went shopping with my mom and stopped in at Gamestop. One of my favorite employees was working and I hadn't seen him for a few months but he remembered me from the last time we saw each other.

it’s actually supposed to be above average temps here. I know it’s supposed to rain tomorrow, but I can’t complain too much since it’ll be in the 50s. Ugh yeah hair in the mouth is terrible. Somehow it’s worse when it’s getting blown into your mouth though, I’m not sure why. Ohh I think I’ve heard about that. I think one of my Facebook friends from Australia has been. I would love to go and experience it myself. I’ll have to look it up and see! Oh yeah your eyes will probably be relieved. You really don’t realize how bad you were straining until you don’t have to. That coating will probably help loads at night too. I only have a six drawer dresser (the kind with the mirror that attaches) and a closet (part of it has my parents stuff in it because their closet isn’t very big). I don’t really like hanging my favorite clothes in my closet because they get a weird smell, so some of my things are hung on a rack. That rack is getting moved to the basement once I get the new rack put together. As for the new chest dresser, I’m going to clean it and try to fix the last drawer so I can use it for now until the weather is warmer. I’m glad it was better at least! Aw it’s cool that he remembered you.

I was wearing shorts outside yesterday and it was only in the mid-50s. Today was a sweater and jeans kind of day since it rained some. The temps will be all over the place this weekend, 50's to 40's. I just want to spring-like weather and temps to stick around. Maybe it's because the hair is constantly getting your mouth and you have to pull it out over and over. I always tend to forget a hair-tie on windy days when I'm shopping. My hair also weaves itself into my clothing. There are some days where I don't notice the scratch that is smack dab in the middle of my left lens and other days where it's a struggle to see past it. I have the coating on this pair but it's falling off. Maybe they've figured out a way to get the coating to stay on for more than 3 years. I have two 6 drawer dressers, but one of them has two really small drawers at the top (large enough to hold socks). Chris and I share a closet but my stuff is started to creep over to his side, so I either need to get rid of some clothes or put some winter clothes in storage. I used to have a dresser that gave my clothes a weird smell. I could never get rid of it either, so I resorted to putting bounce sheets in with the clothes. I wish I had room for a small clothes rack, it would be a nice way to keep clothes that I wear every day organized instead of having them sit in a heap on the floor. I have a quilt rack that was holding too many quilts and blankets. My brother gave me a full-size bed that he didn't need anymore (my nephew may have outgrown it), so I put most of the quilts on that bed upstairs. Saves me from having to refold them every few months to prevents damage to the quilts. My birthday last year was awful. Chris had just left to start pre-deployment training and I had to cancel my plans for the day because 50+ retired military guys were going to come out to shoot in the pasture behind the house as part of their reunion party. I didn't want to be away from home and have something happen to my dog or the outdoor cats, but they never showed. It was really cool that he remembered me and he's a really nice guy. I was looking at the DS games and he came over and said 'Don't you already have everything in your collection?' then we talked about DS games and he asked if I had the latest Mario Party on DS and said that that's a game that will have you throwing the system across the room and breaking it. Then we talked about some other games that we had talked about during prior visits and he joked that he would give my husband instore credit if he did a video chat with me since it was my birthday. I have a pretty hard time talking to people I don't know in person, but there are two employees at Gamestop that I have no problems talking to.

Christmas is officially over! I finally took the tree down. I swear it is more work taking it down then it was putting it up! My Granny wanted to go there her whole life, but she never made it. You need a passport even if you are not leaving the country? Oh no! I am so glad you found her. It is so scary when they run off like that. I am sure the prices were insane! I am not very good with crowds either. It is a good thing he can tell. I could use a drink right about now. Long day! I hope you find the perfect dress :D Oh geeze. I highly doubt any of that is true lmao! Talk about laying it on thick! Especially the way the acts towards her son. She seems posessive. It is amazing how loud the silence of a totally dark house can be. Without the hum of the fridge and all the other electrical noises the apartment is sounds weird. You never notice the normal sounds until they are gone. Emily always has Simba. Emily just got another friend request while she was playing her Shinobi Striker game. She just ignores them. I told her to change the settings. Of course she said "I'll do it later" lol. Our parking lot finally dried up and now it is supposed to rain tomorrow :(

I haven't taken my tree down yet. Still, have Christmas and birthday gifts for Chris under it. It always does seem to take longer to take the tree down. Maybe it's because I have to wrap each ornament before putting it away and I have to smoosh the branches so they fit back into the box. From what I read, it seems like a passport will be required, which I think is stupid. Supposedly the Real ID is supposed to be better at preventing stolen identities and keep your information more secure. More like it just makes getting an id more of a headache. I was not happy with her. She knows she is supposed to stay in the front yard. I'm betting she found a bird or some critter to chase. If I haven't gone looking for her, I don't think she would have come back. I need to read into it more, just keep putting it off. I'd really love to go, but then I'd find collectibles that I'd want to bring back but I'd probably fall over after looking at the price. Crowds never really bothered me before. A couple years into college, I started having an increase in anxiety and then started having sensory overload issues, but I've never figured out exactly why they started. I'm glad he can notice it, maybe it's because I never let him have anything strawberry so it just sticks out like a sore thumb. I could use a few stiff drinks right now. Chris was hoping he could come home early but he's stuck at demob and everyone is upset at how slow things are going there and that they have to be there longer than everyone else. He was going to have his brother pick him up and drop him off here to surprise me, but now it's possibly changed back to the original plan of me picking him up and then visiting his parents either the same day or the next day. I'm just stressing out because I really don't want to sit in an airport around a bunch of people with cameras trying to take pictures of everyone getting reunited. I do too. I only spent an hour or two looking for the dress for the last military ball. I think I tried on 5 dresses and only really liked one of them....I'm kinda picky. I question if any of that is true now, years ago, it may have been true but now it doesn't seem like it. I found out on Sunday that the in-laws have been having a weekly video chat with Chris......what exactly goes on in a week that they have to a video chat that often? When we moved out of the city, they never called him once a week to chat. I think that might be something else that needs to go on my list of things to discuss with them. It is. I live out in the country, so the house gets really quite but then I can hear all the noises outside, like the coyotes and anything else that might come up to the porch. It's not fun when it sounds like the coyotes are right outside the window. lol sounds kind of like me. I always tell myself I'll do something later than I forget. Luckily, I haven't gotten any random friend requests lately even though I've been playing Neverwinter almost every night. Not everything is completely dry here, but it's dry enough to not need 4-wheel drive. 😢 It's supposed to rain all weekend starting Friday, so if the weather is nice tomorrow, I'm going to try to get the pickup washed.

Well you have a good reason to leave yours up. Mine was still up out of laziness lol. Unwrapping the garland and finding ornaments that someone manage to hide in the branches is also a pain. Not to mention the freakin lights, A pain to put on and a pain to take off! It seems like nothing will help keep us safe and secure for very long. Thieves and whoever always find a way to beat the system. Then it just makes it that much harder on the innocent people just trying to go about their business. Something got her attention. I am just glad for both of your sakes that you found her. I would probably need to win the lottery before I could go, I know I would need a ton of money! It is strange how we can change over time. Sometimes totally out of the blue. Yeah that sounds awful. Sorry Hun hugs. It must be more stressful since you can't seem to be able to nail down a plan and keep it that way :( Hopefully it will all work out in your favor. I don't blame you. No one wants to get all fancied up and go through the trouble only to be unhappy with what they are wearing. Especially if it is uncomfortable! How did you find that out? What took so long? Were they keeping it a secret for some reason? Is it the DIL or more just the MIL? Must be a very long list by now! OMG that sounds too scary for me :( Yeah she is good at procrastination! It was raining off and on all day, but thankfully the parking lot is not flooded.
