Feel free to head over there for kissing and event discussion ~
Me too, though he does get annoying sometimes. I've taken most of his toys away because won't play with them and is expecting new toys. Sorry bud but toys aren't cheap. My hair gets more curly when it's wet, I just wish the curls would stick around longer when it dries. I found out during college that it doesn't take me long to look like a drowned rat walking across campus in the rain. My hair is like a sponge, it soaks up water and releases it slowly, so I'd get up from my desk with wet spots on my jeans and the front of my shirt would be soaked. I don't remember where I was when I saw the commercial, but I expect people are just going to watch it for any farstretched drama. I had thought that Mara Wilson had quit acting, but I found something she wrote online that explained why she quit for a while. Amy is my favorite too, she's smart, quirky, dresses how she wants and doesn't change herself to be liked better. It is fairly rude. Honestly, if they decide to cancel the birthday lunch, I have no issue with that because I'm genuinely not looking forward to it. If they inform me the day of or the day before, I'm tempted to say 'sorry, I'm not going because I don't appreciate being informed at the last minute.' No matter what I do, they won't be too thrilled. If I don't go, they'll be upset, if I do go, I won't say much and they'll be upset, if I take a friend, they'll be upset. That picture pretty much sums it up. MIL displays the senior pictures of whichever son is graduating from high school in coasters on the table and leaves them up until the next one graduates. Chris's were there for 2 maybe three years, the middle son's will be in the coasters for at least another 4 years. I hate when it's snow pellets. I've walked across campus when it was snowing pellets and it hurt. We're supposed to get snow tonight and tomorrow. I've been stuck in the house all weekend, yesterday I drove out to feed my horse and I did not enjoy driving on packed snow or going sideways on a steep hill. I def don't recommend the place to anyone, just like I don't recommend the apartment complex I lived in. Having the CW Pawn shop open in July would be perfect! The summer is always a slower time for Subeta, and have the PS open would keep people interested. I doubt the friend wanted them back, all she's going to do with it is sell it to someone else or gift it. The CWs I want the have passwords are all Dragon Age themed wears and I'm too nervous/shy to ask how to get the password. I've seen CWs in user shops selling for 99,999 CSC, some of them I have on my wishlist. It's just a big nope from me. The first time I had a salad it was a taco salad and there was no dressing provided. It also didn't help that gnats flew out of it either. I stepped on a nail when I was little, and have stepped on two more nails and a screw since then. The bottom of your foot is the worst spot for an injury! I also pulled a heavy wooden door over my toe, it bled like crazy and I might have lost the toenail (I think I was 6). Since then if I sit cross-legged on the floor, that toe will lock up and cause the rest to lock up.
I hope you all had a fun Survival! Masquerade will be starting later this month, but I'm looking forward to having a bit of a break before that. Survival seemed super long this year with the extension.
Not that I'm really complaining though, with all the extra time I managed to get 6 more infections this year, so I'm pretty satisfied. :)
How many strains did y'all get? Did you manage all the items you wanted from the shops?
I managed to get 4. I did complete all of the 2009 strains though. I'm slowly making my way through them all. I know some years I won't complete as one of the strains really grossed me out, but hopefully I will complete most years soon.
I'm still buying items from the shops, I dragged with Skitters this year and haven't bought too much yet. I have almost bought everything from L'Amour though.
[item=Dappled Unicorn]
[item=Great White Shark]
Yeah, I have all of the strains now that I really like. Most of the ones I'm missing are some of the plant, fish, and insect ones that look interesting but don't work super well with most clothing and stuff.
I think I'll start next year with Caterkiller since it's cute, while I wait to see what the new ones end up looking like. And I'll decide on the rest later I guess lol.
Sorry if I missed any posts while we were chatting on the Survival board! Hey and Hi everyone waves
Hi! New to this chat group!
You said you might get a kitty? Aw! What kind?
Maybe the nacho chips got you? Depends on what kind of chips they are I guess. Allergies are weird. I’m more of a big supper small lunch girl. Most of the time I eat microwave stuff for lunch and then dinner is a homemade meal. Mom likes to use the crockpot a lot since we work all day and that stuff is usually done by the time we get home. You get headaches from the wind? What a bummer. It’s really windy here too now. It’s been raining off and on too so my knee is bugging me a bit. I finally got to the eye doctor today! From what I understood, my prescription hasn’t changed too much, that my headaches and stuff are probably from my eyes getting tired and the constant computer use. So I got 2 prescriptions, one for regular use and then one for computer and reading. I got the blue light stuff on my computer pair so I’ll let you know how it is. I’m excited though, I really like the new frames I’ve picked out for each one.
No idea. I have to find out what they have at the pet store when we are ready to buy. I just hope it doesn't have long hair. I don't want to deal with all the cat hair. A little bit is fine, but not a whole ton.
Ooh yeah, we don’t want that. I would love to see pictures when you do get it. I love kitty pictures!
Me too. Emily already has names picked out. Surprisingly enough she didn't pick Simba or Nala. She was Hinata for a girl and Naruto for a boy.
Aw cute! Those are good names. I liked reading Naruto, it was pretty interesting!
I got her into watching the anime and right now she is obsessed with it. She wants to buy the whole series (original and Shippuden) on DVD. That is going to take a while since there are so many episodes.
Oh I bet! That’s a big goal. I think I’d love to have all the Sailor Moon stuff on dvd, that was my favorite.
It could have been, they were corn chips, but I'd had nachos days prior and was totally fine. Freaked my friend out when I told her so she refused to get nachos at the next basketball game we went to. Allergies are very weird. I'm also severely allergic (I refer to it as deathly allergic) to strawberries and the smell of them makes me feel like I'm having a reaction when I'm not. I do a lot of work outside in the morning and early afternoon so a big lunch gives me enough energy. I've had a few times where I didn't eat enough and I ended up being shaky most of the day. I should do more crockpot meals but I always forget, but then I'd get stuck eating a whole roast by myself for a week. Yeah, I think it's mostly from the pressure because I can also get migraines when the weather changes too much..or if I don't eat at a certain time. We had wind gusts up to 40 mph yesterday. I thought the dog's food bowl had blown away but it had just floated behind her dog house, but I had the hood of my coat tied snug enough to keep the wind off my ears. My knee used to bother me during bad weather, now it just pitches a fit if I do too many sudden movements. The finger I broke last year hurts whenever the weather changes though. Yay! I haven't decided if I'll get new frames this summer or just replace the lenses in my current pair. I always go for rectangular shaped frames, but I'm thinking it might be time to change it up. But it's so hard to see how glasses look on me when everything is fuzzy.
I may have missed your last post on the holiday Tank thread. I should have checked it once more last night.
Dang and I thought I might be able to repost it, but all of my posts are gone from the recent posts page too. I guess we start over lol.
That's ok, I had a headache from the wind and looking at a white screen wasn't helping. We can either try to remember what we last said or we can pick new topics. I worked on the 5-point stars last night, tracing pieces, cutting them out and then wrapping the fabric around the template. Managed to watch two movies while working on them. I'll possibly work on that some more tonight. When Chris comes home we are going to be busy. One of the places we lived in college is having a 10-year reunion the first weekend of April, then the following weekend we are going to a PBR rodeo event. We'll either visit his parents before that first weekend in April or after. I honestly would rather visit his aunt and uncle over his parents. Then in July we have a Yellow Ribbon event and a fancy military dining out/ball event, so I have to find a dress for that. I did tell Chris about my worries with his parents always expecting us to visit them if we have kids and he said that's not going to happen, they pretty much have to put in some effort. The snow is almost completely melted away but now there's water running everywhere. One of the roads away from my house was flooding yesterday and another road was slightly washed out from running water. The ditches are full and the fields are flooded plus the river is way up. Supposed to get rain on Tuesday so nothing will really have the time to dry out.
Hope you are feeling better now. I hate having headaches. Did you tell me what the stars were for? I can't remember squat lately lol. Wow 10 years! Time sure does fly by fast. Ooh a big fancy ball. I have never been to anything like that. Can you post a pic of your dress when you get one? :D I would love to see it! Not asking for a pesonal pic. I know most of us prefer to remain "anonymous" or whatever. Yeah you deff need to set boundaries before you have little ones. It is amazing how messy and annoying water can be!
The headache is gone. It finally went away sometime yesterday afternoon. I hate having them too because most of the time mine end up being migraines. They are for a t-shirt quilt my mom is making for Chris. I need to get in gear and really work on them because they will be the borders around the t-shirts. I think I moved in the second or third year the place had been open, but it doesn't seem like it's been that long ago. I went to a winter military ball with Chris years ago and it was pretty boring. Most people got drunk. Hopefully, this one is a bit better. I will try to remember to get a picture taken and share it! I'm sure Chris will take pictures of each dress I try on. I probably won't start looking until next month. The dress I wore to the last ball is pretty but the zipper needs to be removed and I'm not looking forward to doing that. We do and we honestly need to set boundaries now about how they treat just the two of us. We can't be the ones driving two hours to visit them every time they want to see us. It is. My driveway is a mess because the water just sits on the gravel/dirt. I was driving my usual route to my parents last night and had to turn around because water was just gushing across the road to the other side. I thought about trying it, but I didn't feel like getting stuck in the mud. Running after cows to put them in the barn is near impossible. I at least didn't lose a boot yesterday.
I am glad to hear you are feeling better :) That sounds like it is going to be very pretty! I wish I could make things like that. It has a way of sneaking up on us. Once we start to think about how long ago something was it gets a little scary lol. It never seems like it was that long ago! I enjoy a couple of drinks in that kind of setting, but not getting drunk. I would hate to have to deal with a bunch of drunk people. I bet you are going to look great :D Hopefully you two can have a fun evening. Yeah that is too much. The only thing good about it is that you can decide when to leave. When they come see you it might be harder to get rid of them. I can picture you pushing them out the door and saying "awe I wish you could stay longer, but too bad you can't, Safe trip home!!!" LOL Sounds like you might float away. At least my issue is only with our parking lot. Every time it rains the whole thing gets flooded.
