Me too... well, I love all shades of purple. xD I think medium blue-purple is my favorite, though!
Oh that's awesome that you have them all signed, congrats! :D

same except that shade that is pink pretending to be purple :P lol one of my glasses cases is purple sparkles. Lilac on the top, deep purple on the bottom. That pair is purple too, but I'm actually returning them today. i'm struggling with mulitaskng and going to ask about progressives. thanks! Met her at dragonCon

Bwahaha, you and your pinks. 😂 Ooo, that sounds really cool! Aww, it's a shame that you are having trouble with them. =( Can they just swap out the lenses for you so you can keep the purple frames? I have astigmatism, so everything that isn't smack in front of my face (literally only a few inches from my eyes) is super blurry. My optometrist told me not to try to cross the street without my glasses/contacts. Lol My frames are blue and silver with Swarovski crystals. :D There wasn't a purple option, unfortunately. Oh, that's awesome! I love going to conventions, they are so much fun. :D

they looked amazing - as does today's outfit! :D Hopefully the heater will be able to be sorted without too much hassle, but that's good that they aren't a problem all being in the bedroom at the moment! Sparky doesn't whistle to them, but if he can hear someone talking and can't see them, he'll start shouting because he wants to be included ;) We've got our heating service booked for the end of the month, so Sparky (and the table his cage sits on) will move into the living room for the day, as it doesn't work if he's by the door when that gets done. Last year he enjoyed watching the cars driving up the road from there, so hopefully this year he won't mind again ;)

The suits were stupidly pricey, although we did get a 40% discount as long as we wore it for work - I think we got the discount on one suit, two tops and two accessories (something like a scarf, or ties for the men) twice a year, so I've kept those suits in the wardrobe in case I can make use of them in the future laughs I think now if you're looking for just a simple hem, it's about £15 - £20 in town, depending on where you go.... but the last pair of jeans I had taken up in town looked horrible afterwards - they hadn't matched the thread colour to the original, so they just didn't look right :K It made me wish I'd taken them up by hand (that was before I got the sewing machine) 😊

oooo another neat outfit - that's perfect colour matching with the hairpiece & top :D Yeah, some of the lag has been a total nightmare since Christmas :K She was aiming for snow, but wasn't too impressed at making a thunderstorm instead :P

Thanks! :D I was trying to make a blue merle gryphon today to match the . It was trickier than I had anticipated. xD I love Niamh's outfit with the silkie sweater, those pants and shoes look great with it! :-) Which item are you using for the background? Hopefully. They are all being very good in the bedroom; they don't try to wake us up in the morning. Dr. C lives in the bedroom anyway, because she gets separation anxiety if she can't see where I am before she goes to sleep. Silly chicken. xD Aww, it's cute that Sparky likes to be included. <3 It sounds like the change of scenery for a day might be enjoyable for him. :D My birds also like to look out the window. When the weather is warm in the summer, sometimes I even take Disco outside in her cage. She really enjoys that. :D

:P hey, sorry but that pink-purple is pink :P yeah I like it and the case was only $3.95 or something at walmart. It's like this, top one bottom the other, except more lilac on the second one. Nope, the frames are too small for no line bifocals. So do I :D In fact my right eye only has the astigmatism correction. these are my first pairs of glasses. I've finally got used to the distance pair but the readers have been a struggle from day one to be honest. haha nice. Ooh they sound great. My distance pair (got them in December) are Tardis blue and small rectangle. The new pair is a similar shade with blue dots on the sides. I'll take pictures and upload both. It was sadly another $180 but I think this will work out best for me. I kept my distance/transition pair for driving, shopping--going out in. And if i think I'll need them, I'll bring the progressives with me. Mhm. Haven't been to one in a while though.

why thank you. hAd to try my new top out :D yeah -sighs- :( haha I can't blame her. Niamh looks pretty today :D Well I took my reading glasses in and upgraded them to Progressive no line bifocals. It was sadly another $180 but I think this will work out best for me. I was struggling to multitask with them so they'll be my indoor pair. I kept my distance/transition pair for driving, shopping--going out in. And if i think I'll need them, I'll bring the progressives with me. There's the new pair. They are actually project runway glasses! -pokes above picture- I took my reading glasses back. Getting a no line bifocal instead. struggling to multitask

Haha, I won't argue with you there. xD Ooo, I love that! It sounds really cool. :D Aww, that's a shame. =( Oh, I didn't realize you could have it in only one eye, I guess I never thought about it before. 😮 I have worn either glasses or contacts since I was in second grade, I think. Bad eyesight runs in my family. xD I can imagine that it would get frustrating to have a different pair of glasses for distance and reading. Ooo, they both sound very pretty! Ugh, glasses are so expensive. =( I am glad you have them all figured out, though. :-) I feel lucky only needing one pair for everything... for now. That may change as I get older. My mom only started needing reading glasses a few years ago. xD Yeah, same. We don't get to go to as many Cons, but we do go to the Renn Faire every year. :D I always enjoy that, too.

good girl lmao. THanks I really like them :D Yeah you can, but I meant I have no rx in my right eye, other than the astigmatism correction. My rx is really low. Left eye is -.25. Right astigmatism correction is -.50, left -.25. Right axis is 70, left is 100 and the Add is 100. Both my parents have had them since they were children as well. But Mum is farsighted and dad is near, so my bro and I wound up with perfect vision. I've always known I'd wind up with them but escaped for 38 years haha. -nods- it really has been frustrating and very hard to multitask. -sighs- I could not wear the distance pair, but I need the astigmatism correction honestly. So I need something that will work better for me.
Yeah they are but upgrading made more sense than having to buy an entirely new pair a month later because I couldn't function. There's the new pair. They are actually project runway glasses!

I haven't been to renfest in ages lol.

😂 Oh, I see! I forget my exact prescription, I have it somewhere, but my right eye has marginally better vision than my left. That is really not saying much, though. I see slightly less blurry blobs with my right eye. Lol Oh, that was lucky! My dad has worn them for most of his life. My mom only started needing them a few years ago, but her side of the family has worse vision on average. One of my uncles(her brother) is legally blind without his glasses. =X I can believe it, how annoying. x.x I am glad that you found something that will work for you, that's what is important. Ooo, very cute glasses! :D I enjoy the PA Renaissance Faire. I get to wear my gryphon/phoenix shoulder puppets when I go. xD

hehe less blurry blobs :D aww poor guy. is your uncle really nearsighted or farsighted? is his script too high for getting lasik? My brother is glasses free still but two out of three of his kids are wearing glasses haha. I think David's day is coming too. yeah hopefully this will work best for me. I get 'em in 7-10 days. thanks :) aww cute :D I have a shoulder puppet dragon.

ooo that body mod looks amazing, but I can see how it'd be tricky to get it all looking just right! Thanks :D The background is - I was stuck, so I just searched "rose" in the wardrobe laughs I've never come across a bird with separation anxiety before! At least she's settled when she does go to sleep though ;) We've never done that with Sparky, but we did take Sid outside in his cage so he could have a shower in the summer a few times ;) I was a bit paranoid about keeping an eye out for the neighbourhood cats though 😊

now that's an interesting look for your HA today! Is Jovy all set for an interesting night? :P Thanks :D I wanted to try out the chicken sweater :D Awww on needing to upgrade them, but I can see how that'd be helpful, as Gran found she wanted to just keep hers on when she moved around (and obviously that isn't ideal if you've got reading lenses!). And those frames look great! :D :D

haha He sure hopes so :P I got the tray for Christmas and hadn't gotten around to using it yet.

I see Nimah's got another cute Chicken sweater. Does she have a chick pet? :D How could she even move? Lol everything is all big and blurry o.0 Thanks :D

hehe well I hope he isn't disappointed :P ;) laughs I'm not sure if she's added a chicken to her ever-growing list of pets, or if she's just looking after these for a friend ;) I think once she moved, she realised it wasn't such a good idea, and sat back down again straight away :P After that, she got bifocals (she didn't get on with the no-line ones, but Mum and Dad prefer that style), as Gran really didn't want the fuss of having to keep taking them off ;)

haha he hopes so too -giggles- She's totally got a chicken. Face it lol even if she was chick sitting she went and got one with that voucher from Zoe ;) haha Good thing too. Not a good idea. Oh my mother and father wouldn't even hear of me getting a lined bifocial. lol. But I can totally get the hassle of both reading and distance separate.

I would def. hold on to the suits too, as long as they fit you nicely. :) That is annoying that they didnt match the thread colour. Just seems sloppy to me, as its a simple thing to do!

Ohh, the glasses looks great! I bet you look great in them too. :D

And thanks. :D Like I said, I need to have some pictures printed for the frames. :) I started making a folder with pics I want in there. Projected? Do you mean the window? :)

Yeah, it's pretty bad. xD I'm not sure if he is near or farsighted, I should ask him. Not sure, but I know he's not the type of person who would go for lasik. He'd rather use his coke bottle lenses, lol! I'd also much rather wear glasses or contacts, I don't like the idea of surgery on my eyes... I had a friend who had lasik done and it made her vision blurry. Too risky for my liking! Haha, maybe the bad eyesight skipped a generation? Ooo, hopefully they will come in soon! They told me 7-10days before, and they were there in 3 or 4, so that was a nice surprise. Oh neat, is it a woodbaby? My phoenix is a woodbaby, but my gryphons are drabbits. Oh my, not sure I want to ask what is going on with the HA today! 😂

Yes, I had to get a little creative! xD Ooo thanks, I don't think I've ever seen that item before. Niamh is looking good again today! What is the frilly piece you have layered under the sweater? It looks very cute! :-) Yeah... she's a weird one. 😂 I may have coddled her too much as a chickie, haha. That sounds fun for Sid! I worry about that when I take Disco out, too. x.x We already had one of the neighbor lady's cats try to break into the chicken coop before... I was livid!

laughs well I wouldn't be surprised :P Maybe by the time the next Wizarding term starts, Niamh will have admitted just how many new pets she's bought :P Yeah, for Gran is was too hard to get used to that invisible dividing line, but I guess the younger you are when you have that for the first time, the easier it is to get used to it ;)

nods we did get rid of one pair of trousers because they were a weird shape (really wide legs, and that isn't my style), but I kept the jacket ;)

😮 that's an amazing frosty look today! :D :D The rose thing was something I got for a pet's treasure chest, then realised it was wearable laughs It's erm goes to check - I trawled the wardrobe for anything with "pastel" in the name, and found the Lovely Pastel range ;) I think I'd have been so worried, the chickens would end up living in something like fort knox by the time I'd finished 😊 Although round here, if there's any animals outside overnight (like a bunny in a hutch) it's the badgers and foxes you'd need to worry about.... and that's why I never ended up with a pet rabbit ;)

Thanks! :D I wanted to make a deer(?) hippogriff, had some fun with it. Oh nice, that was a good surprise, then. xD Ah thank you, that was a good idea. :D
We have our yard fenced in, and the coop has chicken wire all around and underneath it, so that nothing can dig under it. The cat must have either crawled under the fence or scaled it to get in, and was trying to break in the door. We weren't home at the time, but another neighbor saw it and shooed the cat away. We do see foxes once and a while in the area, but I've never seen one right in our neighborhood. We more have to watch out for feral/outdoor cats and hawks. The cats really upset me, but I won't go into that rant today. xD I can understand not wanting to keep a bunny outside in that situation, yikes!

-pets- I can’t blame him. Sometimes lasik isn’t the best answer. And even those who get it, several still need glasses. Nah bro’s days are comin :P I’m sure of it haha That would be nice cos I wanna cross stitch lol. In December they told me two weeks and I got them in 7 days so crossing my fingers. Oh I have no idea. Lol. It’s been like 10 years since I’d been to the ren fen LOL he wants some loving from his gf.

Lol dread to think of how many pets she has LOL Yeah I can understand that. –nods- we are whippersnappers :P
