laughs now that would make it easier if they all had the same name :P ....reminds me of Robbie the Reindeer where all the Vikings were called Magnus :P

ooooo now that's a nifty outfit - is that the top / skirt from the plot prize shop?

They really are. :D I have a thing to go to tonight, for the class I took earlier, a follow up thing. So not feeling up for it. >_<

Even I can manage that with my limited sewing skills. lol

Hide and seek shrimplets. xD How many of them are there? Of course! <3 Ooo, I like what you've done with the new plot loot body-mod. :D

Well, it worked out nicely. ;) Thanks! I was trying to work with the pink flowers in the ears, without going overboard on the pink again. xD I like RP-Paddy's constellation outfit today. :D The artist gave me previews of the constellation silkie sweater yesterday. :-) I'm just waiting on a payment ping and the files, so I'm hoping I can squeeze it in in time for BF! Some friends helped me figure out the correct pricing. xD Ah yeah, my mom used to do the safetypin trick. I was never good at it, though. 😂 The narrower ones must have been even more of a pain! That was a good idea with the funnel neck one, it's nice that you don't have to worry about losing the drawstring. ;) Oh good, the little one must have been less frustrating, then. xD Oh, I ended up taking that crochet class with my mom! She was the only person who signed up, so she asked if I wanted to join her and offered to pay for my class. It was much more challenging than I had expected. xD I got about two nice rows done after practicing, the class was 2 1/2 hrs. 😂 I'm hoping I will get better (and quicker) at it as I go along!

hehe well wouldn't you be chilled if you'd forgotten your wand so you couldn't make a jar of fire to keep yourself warm? 😇 :P

I think the hardest thing would be making sure they were firmly attached to the socks, but as long as the stitches were tight enough, it should work :D

And that's another great HA now as well! What's the skirt you've used? Thanks :D oooo that sounds like it'll be amazing! :D I cheated with the narrower ones, and put some sellotape around the end of the cord (so it wouldn't fray) before threading it through - that gave a nice chunky end so it wasn't too bad to push it around the hood 😇 nods the little one was very fiddly to sew the cuffs, but at least there were no strings to worry with! I just need to feel brave enough to tackle the cuffs & waistbands on the new one, so I can get that posted to him before Christmas (he always gets loads of presents to open on Christmas day, so I'm aiming to get mine to arrive early so he can enjoy wearing it in advance ;)) That's fantastic on the crochet class! :D Once you get the hang of wrapping the yarn, it does get easier, but that sounds more successful than my "squares" I tried crocheting to start with.... I think it was the first square to ever have 6 corners (I kept gaining stitches on a few rows) 😊 .... that was much the same effect as my first attempts at knitted squares as well laughs

hopefully it won't be too bad -snugs- we are leaving in 2 hours to go to a light festival for Christmas at the botanical gardens. Looking forward to it. It's going to be cold though lol.

well I've seen 8 but the chap on a video about them said shrimp have 30-40 babies so there could be more. thank you :D and I love this new gryphon :D

haha fair point :P we are leaving in 2 hours to go to a light festival for Christmas at the botanical gardens. Looking forward to it. It's going to be cold though lol.

Thanks! :D The skirt is actually two items, layered over I've just posted it on my release thread. :D I just need to fill 3 slots to submit it, then the rest should be available for BF, provided we don't hit any snags. Oh, that was a good idea! I wouldn't have thought to use tape. I bet the little one would be difficult with those tiny cuffs. 😮 I hope you are able to get it to him in time for pre-Christmas wear! ;) Haha, I was kind of jealous of my mom. xD She got what looked like a third of a scarf done, and learned several different stitches. I was only able to get the chain and basic crochet stitch down. Oh no! I didn't have problems with extra stitches, but I did miss one or two and have to start over. 😂 That's why I only had two rows after 2 1/2 hours. xD

Oh wow! It will be interesting to see if you find any more who have been hiding. xD Thanks! I had to try out the ears and tail, but making the body and everything else look calico was tricky. There's also the pesky human ear that always needs covering. :P I wish we could put it behind the base like everything else!

laughs I love the HA-less outfit today, that's perfect use of the giant plant & little elephant :D :D oooo how did the light festival go? :D

I wouldn't have thought of it being two layered ones, that worked really well! :D I only realised the tape trick by accident after I had to do something to stop the ends from turning into a tangled mess :P Now that's impressive crocheting if she got that much done! I decided to not go for perfection when I started crocheting, so if there was a missed stitch, I just tried to do a longer stitch into it on the following row (if you're doing single crochet, you can do a double crochet into a missed stitch on the next row), just to fill the gap.... it will show if you look closely, but at least it saved pulling it back and having to start again! 😇

Maybe I can buy some tiny bells from a hobbystore or online. 👼

I'm sure I had a pack of tiny bells from a craft shop at one point.... I wonder what I did with those (bet they're lurking under the ribbon I got in March and still can't find 😊 :P)

Thanks! :-) I think it's a good idea, someone suggested it in the suggestion forums. That's one reason I use the dog skin as a base for certain gryphons if I can, no pesky ear. xD Your humanless av today made me laugh! I hope that little elephant is safe, the plant has a "feed me Seymour!' look about it. 😂

Thanks! :-)
I like your HA today, too! It looks like RP-Paddy is ready for the holidays. xD Oh, is was a happy accident, then. ;) I know! She knits much more than I ever have, though, so maybe that's why it came more easily to her? That's probably a good idea. xD I'm such a perfectionist with my work. x.x I didn't know about the double crochet trick, that's a good idea! I'll have to have my mom teach me that stitch. She learned it at the class, but I was still busy trying to master the basic one. 😂

I love your HA too today - and thank you for the compliment! Is your wig a CW - it looks really good with that skin! I actually thought you used colorful fabric on purpose to have different patterns/colors/fun - I didn't realize it was just left over material. That is really cool! I like colorful things with patterns in RL so I tend to go for stuff with varied patterns and colors but not super bright. I also don't wear scarves. Even when I lived in a cold place where a scarf would have been useful, I just pulled my sweatshirt up, wore a beanie, and or froze ... LOL So your option with the funnel neck sounds sublime-warm!

Me in the fox shirt I just finished (*the color is not exactly right due to how blown out the pic is - my mom is not that great at working my sisters camera yet. lol)

How goes the rot/mold? I hope it's not extensive! It sometimes feels so good to have all the errands done that you're not even caring how tired you are, so I totally understand that!

thanks :D They put the Christmas lights up in town last week, and they're now (mostly) lit, so I thought RP-Paddy should get a chance to go and see some ;) I started out being a terrible perfectionist, but soon realised I didn't have the patience for that 😊 so I figured a slight mistake was better than spending hours unpicking and restitching it all ;) By the way, if you ever see any UK instructions for crochet, we have slightly different names for each stitch, so certainly to start with it'll be useful to stick to US instructions :P

Thanks :D And nope, it's the - I just went through all the hair coupons I had in the wardrobe until I found one that worked ;) I love your HA with the chicken today - I hadn't thought of doing an indoor look with that! :D laughs that sounded like me when we had a really cold snap in March - I ended up making a fleece sleevless top that I could wear over my coat if we get any more really cold weather.... and I think that'll guarantee we get a mild winter this year :P 😮 jaw drop Whoa, that fox looks incredible!!

Thanks for the compliment on my new chicken HA ! I was going to go with an outdoor look but I really loved this cozy little background and wanted to wear it instead. In my head my living room looks more like this in the winter.

The coupon works out super well - I will have to add it to my list of coupons to get! <3 I am so glad it is not a CW though, really, so it means I can get it!

Thank you for the compliment on my little rain coat wearing fox too! I got to use one of my more favorite colors on the design too (teal) so that made me happy that it all matched. I am going to try to get some magenta on my next design, which I am thinking might be a jellyfish. I have to first finish up with two other designs for my sisters for their Christmas gifts though. My one sister might get two shirts, one with a dinosaur and one with a Dr Who design that I made up for her (she loves Dr Who a lot!).

So first, the light festival was so freaking cold wind was 10-15 mph. It was 34F/1.1C but was said to feel like 25F/-3.9C. I was freezing even with jeans, gloves, long sleeve shirt, hoodie, coat and hat. But it was LOVELY. The music was pretty--all non-religious songs. There was an inside part with "fairy land" which had little lights in the plants that made it look like tiny bugs or fairies. Had a wonderful time.

So the adjuster the insurance sent came and looked at the roof. We have to wait10-14 days now to see if they'll repair it. Tarp was put back on.

Paddy--thank you lol I thought it looked like the elephant wanted to give the plant a flower haha. ooh love the festive look. New jumper?

Pinkpanther-- hope the relaxing was nice and you got a good meal :)

bitterlimeparakeet-- ooh I LOVE the double griff look! very perfectly clever. lol hey it works right? It would be nice if the ears could be moveable. haha thanks :D not sure if elephant will be friend or snack -snickers-

ambition-- mhm and too tired to care about anything lol.

What is a light festival? Something for the holidays with Christmas lights everywhere? I think that sounds like it would be pretty, especially the fairy area!

I hadn't remembered I had that coupon, so it was a pleasant surprise to find it in the wardrobe laughs

Whoa, that's going to keep you busy with the dinosaur & Doctor Who! :D You definitely need to share pics when they're done :D

The light festival sounds like it was great! :D Pity on the temperature though hands over a mug of hot chocolate to warm you up At least the insurance bloke's been to inspect the roof, but I bet those 10-14 days will feel like forever while you're waiting :K Thanks :D And nope, I've had the jumper for a while, but I haven't used it much ;)
