I have been a Member For 10 years, 2 weeks to be exact .... I used to play NeoPets and my friend Georgie suggested I might like this site.
I remember I loved playing right away and am so glad they have kept the shops (theirs and ours) that is what I personally enjoy the most. I get my shopping fix for the week here instead of using real $. My sister msnuttynetty plays here now and it is a great way for us to keep in touch and have fun together. We are bi-coastal so don't get to spend too much time in person. Yes msnuttynetty and I are both pretty active.

In reality, I've known of subeta since I was probably 10 years old? Which is 11 years ago now... came from another well known pet site.

I remember the old layout, where everything was blue, and being really taken with the old ruffie artwork - I had a soft toy to match. In fact, I remember they previewed a new layout (newer than the current one) for like 3 minutes and I absolutely loved it. Wonder what happened to that.

I remember telling my friends in high school, but like everything in high school, nothing stuck.

♦ Today is my 10-year Subeta-versary!! (Although the achievement hasn't popped yet HURRY UP) ♣ I don't remember exactly how I came to find Subeta except that I remember I was fleeing Neopets around that time. ♠ I've been on Subeta ever since so I guess my first impression of it was good!! I honestly can't say. It's been long enough that it feels like I've always been here. xD ♥ I sure did recommend the site to a few people, and a few of those people still play here with me! A few new friends as well as some oldies like my sisters. xD They might not be quite as active as I am, but they do log in occasionally for events and such.

Think a friend suggested it, when I was getting frustrated with Neopets.

My first impression was that everything was expensive! And I didn't know how to earn money. Coming from Neopets where you earned things from playing games, it was a real shock to play a game on here and then have it come up you can play again in 3 hours. And the big dollar items on Neopets was like 1mil, you come here, and big items are like 400mil. I was uncomfortable and it took some getting used to.

But what I did like right off the bat, was how nice everyone was on the boards here. They were cut throat at Neopets. So I came to these boards with all kinds of attitude... and of course got called out. I just wasn't used it. lol

I recommended the site to a few friends and family. Only one still plays.

I'll have been on Subeta for 10 years this December. I found out originally about it from a friend when we were having a sleepover after a performance we were doing, and honestly I really liked it. I was at the age where I was wanting to find something that was still fun (like Neopets) but grown up enough where I could feel super cool, and Subeta was that for me.

I've got 3 referrals on my account and none of them have stayed active members. They actually think it's pretty amusing that I've been able to stay dedicated to the website for nearly a decade.
