I've been a member here for a few months shy of 11 years. I believe is the one who got me to join. I wasn't thrilled at first, but I got over it. I prefer Subeta over another site. I have referred people to Subeta, but none of them are active anymore.

I've been a member for over seven years now... Altho I've taken a couple of maybe year-long breaks. My friend recommended Subeta at first. I had played... another site for a while but the economy's so messed up I can't believe it's still up lol. I guess Subeta was confusing at first but I love how I can actually make SP without spending RL money lol. I've recommended to a couple of friends and one of them is still playing! (I think. :P)

I feel like RL has gotten so much busier now that I feel kind of bad spending my free time on quests and whatnot? I think I need to find a new reason for playing again hah. Like making friends ;o

How did you come to find the site? I found someone talking about it on the Neopets board over at GameFAQs way back when.

What was your first impression? It was a breath of fresh air. I really liked what I saw.

Have you recommended the site to anyone? One friend through AIM back in the day.

Are they a active member of the site? Nope. We never really talked about it after that, and then we lost contact around seven years ago, but so far as I know he didn't stay on here more than a month.

How long have you been a member of Subeta? I've been here for 10.5 years, 11 years in June.

How did you come to find the site? Funny enough, Neopets is the reason why I found Subeta! I was looking up some Neopet art and then stumbled upon some Subeta pet art. I specifically remember this angelic darkonite which is part of the reason why I have an angelic darkonite today!

What was your first impression? It was good! I loved the artwork for the pets here.

Have you recommended the site to anyone? Two people, shortly after I joined myself. It says I've only got one referral though.

Are they a active member of the site? Nope, neither stayed more than a year if memory serves correct.

I've been here a little over 11 years.

I think I was getting frustrated with Neopets and looking at various other pet sites. I found some fun ones (I think I remember a fairy pet site and a dragon one?), but none really grabbed me like Subeta. :) I did play a couple other sites along With Subeta for a couple years, but the economy there went haywire and it just wasn't as fun anymore. (either too easy or nigh impossible to do things)

First impression? 'They have cute pets, and it's free.' I want to say I remember a time before avatars, but it's been so long, I don't clearly remember.

Recommended to anyone? Well... I kinda don't really go to other sites much, and as for real-life.... let's just say most of the people around me (that know about it) are either On this site, or (for lack of better phrasing) look down on my hobby of being here.

I never dreamed I would still be here this many years later. ^_^ Though, I do wish I had collected some things and achievements back then that are worth a LOT. Heh. Oh well, I've always been a pretty relaxed player.

I've been on here for a little over 11 years now, which means I started around 13 years old? I know I played a lot of Neopets when I was younger, which transitioned in Gaia during my middle school years. I'm sure I found Subeta through someone on Gaia, but I don't really remember. I loved it instantly because it allowed you to have both a customizable avatar and pets. Also I found the artwork very lovely and it's only improved over the years. I could never really get my friends interested in this site, due to being distracted by their own games of choice at the time.

I've been a member in the neighborhood of ten years, long enough to see my first baby pet grow and become a strong tier 13 :) We're still working on it, but his bravery has definitely become better over the years. Anyhow, I don't remember how I came to find the site, just that it is my escape from the real world in some ways. Which is ironic, seeing as how the two people that I've brought to this site are my husband and son.

How did you come to find the site? A recommendation from my cousin! She said it was better than Neo, and I agree.

What was your first impression? I thought it was more fun and less childish and I quickly fell in love with the currency and wardrobe. As the years have gone on, I've appreciated the more mature content and players A LOT.

Have you recommended the site to anyone? My ex boyfriend. LUL.

Are they a active member of the site? Nope. Thankfully for me. I wish I did have IRL friends that played, though. But it's okay because I have made some absolutely incredible friends through here.

I actually don't remember who told me about Subeta or how I found out about it. Sorry, my memory is terrible and yeah, 10 years IS kind of a long time lol. But I do remember that I came over from Neopets and was blown away by the art here. I was especially impressed by the more macabre stuff, such as Bloodred pets, that Neo would never have. Also, and very importantly, the less restrictive rules were wonderfully liberating. I'm not constantly worried that some innocent little mistake will get me frozen like on Neo.

I've gotten a few people to sign up. At least one is still active but most aren't, unfortunately.
