Yes, I'm definitely the same way when I've read a book before watching the movie/tv show. It's hard though to expect them to get it all done in such a short amount of time. But don't forget the core elements (yells at the movie ppl). So yeah, I get it.

Congrats to the winners!! I think since I'm snow-bound today I will take the time to throw some free shop goodies to newbies and others who could use a smile! I think I'll scout out the chit-chat issues & advice board for people that are having a bad day and surprise them :) Then afterward I'll be helping neighbors dig out of the snow!

My favorite random act of kindness is to pay for the person behind me in the drive through. It's fun to see how long it can go. Usually my favorite is Starbucks bc let's be honest COFFEE IS SACRED AND IF A KIND SOUL PAYS FOR YOUR COFFEE YOU LOVE THEM. So that's what I did this morning and that's what I'll do this afternoon. (:

On 12/22 when I stopped by McDonalds for my coffee the person in front of me had already paid. So I paid for the person behind me. The woman working the window said acts like this make her shift so much fun. She said it had already been going on for close to 2 hours. COULD YOU IMAGINE 2 HOURS?!

I'll also be sending a few sweet gifts on here as well since I finally have sP again. (Thanks Lumi, ya drained me 8'D)

Break ups are hard.. especially when they come out of nowhere like that. It's kind of a hard way to look at it, especially when you're heartbroken, but a relationship takes 2 to be in. You wouldn't want to be in a relationship where only one person was giving/trying/committing would you? New year, new possibilities!

I usually just make enough for dinner so that makes it tough XD We used to get lean cuisine but the carbs in it were actually pretty high and then they stopped their loyalty program so I stopped buying them lol!!

As for me, it's not so much a good deed, but common courtesy - opening doors for people/holding doors open is so important to me. It's such a small thing and so many people don't do it.

I've also anonymously gifted some of my free shop finds and donated other things during Lumi.

that's so interesting about your UN. I always have trouble coming up with names for things, and I enjoyed seeing your names page too. Mine isn't so unique - it's for a comic book character in the Buffy the Vampire Slayer universe. I'm still such a big fan of Buffy, and Melaka Fray was a pretty cool character too, who was initially developed separate from the TV show.

It's so true, a smile can really make someone's day. It's such a minor gesture (like holding the door or letting someone go before you in line) but to them it might mean the world.
