I've beaten the 4 headed one 10 times (more than 10 actually), but the next one isn't unlocking...

Did the achievement unlock? It should produce one of the Panzer Hydra Medals in your inventory, which you use to unlock the next hydra.

Soooooooo much easier doing that this year than last year

So, do people think it's possible for a mid T11 to face the 8 header? I'll likely give it a go tomorrow when I'm fresh, but I'm not really expecting anything good from the encounter. Might ask to borrow some pricey weapons.

Time to work on the others

I struggled to get to 5 when my main was low T12 but it was doable. You can probably get a a win or two with high T11 but my strategy relied heavily on cronus and boosting

This is what I use:

Cronus blade, OHS, mecha, energized helmet, soma, rblaster, pquill and reviver.

For scrolls:

fatal fire then when I run out of those cobalt eternal, and SE. I also have a couple of gotf scrolls for when I need a little more heal. A good infinite use one is aftershocks.

The hydra does a lot of magma, fire, earth and dark. More of his weapons have earth on them, followed by fire but I use cronus instead to boost. Fatal fire scrolls are great for him since that will block fire and dark. The best thing to blast is his raging inferno. That will boost his strength

i managed to get 5; i'm happy with that :)

It was weirdly luck-based for me; depending on what the tablets & blaster hit. XD Although I loved how it would often crit me on turn 1 and instantly kill me

What are your pet's stats and what did you wind up using? I almost died one time because my parched blessing didn't activate so he froze me and knocked me down to like 300 HP. I was like "thank you all that extra health!!!"

with mostly Swords with parched crystals & the Natasha with critical strike

It prob. would have been better with Natasha + Cronus Blade but I didn't have the blade so i used the hook swords

I died a LOT. It took me 36 tries to get those 5 wins; about half of those losses were him 1-shotting me on turn 1 and the rest were usually due to him critting and doing 8k+ of damage one one turn XD

I can lend you my cronus so you could win your own cronus blade? You definitely have the stats to beat meatslab and make the blade, unless you don't have meatslab unlocked yet

Yes you absolutely can, your stats are actually close to the stats I had when I beat Baenwurath for the first time and that is much harder than meatslab.

I used cronus and natasha for meatslab. He can also do a lot of physical though through his mighty flex. Those are definitely the ones you want to blast, but you could also equip a lot of cobalt scrolls. He can't be frozen so you can equip your spare slot with another healer or maybe a physical blocker if you can anticipate when he uses mighty flex

Sure thing! I finished off all my hydra wins with my main pet so I don't need to use cronus for now :) If you could just replace 2 parched baguettes on it, I would greatly appreciate it. If you can't that's ok, no big deal :)
