Battle Quests done for today. 20/20 for February.
- all done now. :-)
Hey, this is an odd question, but has anyone noticed anything different in the dropdowns for training? I ask because somehow I've managed to get ALL my pets to have significantly more strength than anything else -- by 20-100 points. I'm guessing it's in the past week or two, given the disparity and training times.
I noticed forever ago that the dropdowns only had level come up if it was the only thing left, and I've not bothered looking at them since, and just hit "train". ...In retrospect, that may have been a poor choice, but I'm not sure what's changed, or if I just managed to uncover a weird glitch.
Ideas?
EDIT: oh hey look who I found waves

- hi! waves back
If you just hit train, you will train strength until it reaches 2.5 times your pet's current level. Somewhere along the line you either trained level a lot or otherwise earned level increases (like from the Oracle) so that you have more level than you need just to train other stats. Once strength reaches 2.5 times level, then you'll start training the next stat on the list until it also reaches 2.5 times level and so on until only level is left and you have to train it again. Of course, you can always choose to train in some other order by selecting which stat to train in the dropdown box. So it looks to me with just a quick glance as though everything is working exactly as it should.
By the way, my dropdown menus show level along with all the other stats, so don't assume you can't accidentally select that when you want to train something else. :-)
thank yoooou!! I really want to get at least to T10, then I'll be happy. I'm 632 points away from T9 if I'm not wrong. :3
IT IS and dude I still remember when he was only T3. considering that wasn't a long time ago, I'm super hyped to keep this pace up and grow even more. and also I really wanted to know the math behind the training dropdowns, thanks for clarifying that hahaha.

but that's the thing. I never touched the dropdowns. Ever. I just hit train. So I'm not sure why strength wasn't trained and then defense and so on, but somehow level and strength kept turning up.

I this month WE are the challengers. 💀 (Muerte, Wrole, Pylot, and Meatslab maybe?)
One huge plus is that I finally found an appropriate time to wear a mankini. :)
I'm not not scary enough to become Bubbles' phobia. I hope. I blame Chums.
You'd be surprised how much fear you can inspire when you wear a mankini!
@ bonita I prefer to think that my luscious man-pelt inspires awe and admiration in those that witness its wonder and majesty.
Also, Chums hit 6 million experience. First milestone down, took somewhere around 6 months.
Completed Level 15 of BQ, wohoo! :D Beat Teef, but The Hustler is up next and I'm out of skips, that's too hard right now :P
Is there a tier 4 equivalent or something similar to that also isn't super expensive? I've checked the Lodge but I don't think I saw one..
- all the battle math can be found in the guides, as can the stat points needed for each tier, if you ever need/want to look something up - or, of course, you can also ask on this thread.
- you said you only clicked train, but you didn't look at your pets' stats when you started doing that. And, as I said you can get levels - or other stats - from Oracle quests, scratchcards, REs, etc. If you still think something is wrong, just take out a ticket and ask them to check. With the pet stats as they are - you won't switch to defense until strength reaches 2.5 times level which will be a bit yet.
- congratulations on 6 million EXP for Chums!
I have no idea how you managed that in 6 months - you must have been VERY busy! (Tos is at 3.9 million EXP after 10 years ... well, not all of those were battling years, but still. :-) )
You Won! You have defeated Unstable Snow Fairy You won a(n) Impossible token to use in the battle shop! Nightmarium earned 3500 EXP Points! Head back to the Battle Quest headquarters to finish up this quest! Because this was level 30 you earned 3500 experience!
BQ done. ;)
- hello, hope you are doing well.
- Woo Hoo! Congratulations on completing Level 15 BQ!
The Hustler can be very tough - but also can depend on your luck too.
There are lots of inexpensive weapons that heal a fixed amount OPB at Tier 4 and below. Two of my favorites are UltimaPlus Tag (T4) which actually heals 25% of your maximum health (so it will grow with your pet), has an attack, a medium chance to freeze and a low chance to steal and Sparkly Quill (T3) which has a small attack and a 100 HP heal. There are also Ruffie Healy Bones (T3) - blocks one of each icon and heals 100 HP, Mystical Orb of the Gods (T2) - small attack plus 40 HP heal, Jewel Encrusted Quill (T2) - small attack plus 50 HP heal, and Bronze Quill (T1) - small attack and 25 HP heal. Any of these sells for about 70K or less. There is also Shinwas Healing Wine which is expensive because it is a stat booster (adds 1 HP plus 1 intel) but can be earned for doing Shinwas Quest. If you put SHW in your armory it is a T2 weapon that blocks one of every icon and heals 50-75 HP. It also has one mod slot (as do all these weapons except the T1 Bronze Quill). It doesn't go away, so you can always take it out of your armory later and use it as a stat booster. There may be others as well. Hope that helps.
Thanks for all the info! I think I actually might have Shinwas Healing Wine, gotta check my armory.. xP
- since you've mentioned that you do Shinwas Quests I'm sure you have it, but you might have used it for the stats or saved it in your vault. :-)
- yes, thanks. Except my virus still seems to be stuck and not progressing at all. (sigh)
I can usually get 26k a day from battle quests, plus more from monthly/event challengers. The reset really helped too. Splurging on weapons made sure that Prodigy isn’t completely miserable when I can’t skip it.
I admit I don't own any Cash Shop challengers and haven't battled a bunch since the reset. Still, I'm very impressed with your accomplishment and the speed at which you managed it. Big Congratulations to you and Chums.
Unfortunately, I've gone through most of my challengers so the next 5 million won't have that easy boost from a ton of freshly re-available opponents. Sort of. I have a stash of challenger items in my bank because I can't even be bothered to finish the ones I already have unlocked.
