The Lord of the Rings by J.R.R. Tolkien i read this in high school. carried around this brick of a book for a whole three months until i finished it. took it to class, read it on the bus, read it waiting for the bus, we went for long walks on the beach, had romantic dinners together... ...umm wait? that's not right...went a little off track there at the end... but it was very gratifying to finally finish it!
