While the new system may be comfortable for a few, who may want to spend a ton of XP a in one go I totally agree with all said. It is very tedious and needs much more attention this new eloborate way.
Even if I wanted to spend a couple of hundred points at a time, it wasn't a big deal up to now, because we could just click away, without needing to wait for the page to reload. Plus I saw all my pets and costs in one glance. Now I need to load and reload each individual one over and over, if I want to adjust the stats for the various "pet bulks" I have. By the time the individual pet has loaded, I've already forgotten, what I wanted to do. Instead of switcing to the BC/XP tab and clicking on the go.
And double checking would be done with the training center or pets page.
It'll be even more tedious on mobile. I have stored the training center and SpendXP pages as bookmarks and just needed to shift pages and click once, every time I came across a pet, that needed level added before continuing with the training. Now I have to additionally load the pet and scroll down to find the stat, fill in the number, scroll to the enter button. More annoying, that here as well, all the pets are in one row underneath each other and not 3 or 4 side by side. Sooooo much scrolling!
Training has become pretty tedious on mobile already, since the recent layout changes, because all the pets are underneath each other now in a very wide setup without space between each other, so a ton of scrolling and zooming in and out to find/see the pets, their remaining time etc. And I only have 15 pets, which is nothing compared to a lot of other users!
I am glad, I don't have to train on mobile that frequently any more, because the latest additions are T7/8 already. Yet, when it came to my biggest bunch of 4, I hated it already with the new tedious Training Center layout. The XP thing now will add to the pain.
To cut a long story short - a fast one click several times per day action (in a permanently open tab on my Subeta window) has been turned into a longwinded, time consuming, error prone event, which is the opposite of the "make things easier and faster" policy that you're working on.
OMG I ♥ this!!! SO much easier and quicker than clicking 1 each time. Thank you :)
I liked clicking the links forever. Bye Bye Subeautique invites & other REs :(

I love this! I was debating on whether on to spend EXP before or after the opponent reset. This resolved that debate immediately. Now Monument's got 300 more core stats, Epitaph's got 225, and Dominant's got 89. I like being able to clearly see the potential results and precisely control the EXP distribution. (I am a bit of a math geek and like doing the numbers before buying stats... So there is that. LOL) One of my favorite aspects is that this method prevents the overshoots which annoyed me to no end.
I do think there needs to be a max button, but personally I don't want an accelerator on the arrows. I've often got stiff hands that don't react as quickly as I'd like and I find myself holding down the mouse button longer than I intended. I feel like I'd have to be back-tracking on a regular basis.
Thanks ! I didn't have a ton of points, but I did find it pretty straight-forward and simple. Great job :)
This is awesome! Noticed it yesterday evening while I was battling - I love it.

I can't say I'm a fan of the new page - the old one was much simpler and cleaner - but I can see why there are people who love it. It would be nice to still be able to do one-click spending for when we just want to go in and buy a single level update or something without all this added complication.
:) ^ ditto! ^ :)
I thought it was just me not clicking the button properly. I had to add a stat or two to a few pets this morning and nothing happened. So I hesitantly clicked again after having backchecked with the Training Center, because I didn't want to add more than planned, but then the number vanished and so now I know, it is safe to assume, the stat has been added once the number is back to zero. Could it be, it recalculates everything, when you type in a number, and we need to wait for that?
It's very nice and clean and not reloading to the top of the page is amazing, especially when you have over 60 pets ^_^;
It's hard to explain but I found the old version easier to use. Having everything in one column was easier to follow.
I love you, ! ❤ Thank you very much. ~
I love it :) Spending exp used to be quite a chore, waiting for the page to reload and going back to refresh my pet page to check. This is so much quicker!
Love you too, Bug!
Now I've spent a day with this new feature. Oh my God, it's sooo tedious!
Now that I've had the time to poke around, this could definitely benefit from a + and - button instead of the arrows. Like , I don't see the arrows on my phone at all. :( However, it seems to work like a charm on PC for me! A Max button would be really handy! Accelerating arrows, however... No. No, thank you.
Also, a possible bug? The numbers in the input boxes clear on mobile (Chrome) and on Chrome (PC) after a simple page refresh, but they don't clear in Firefox (56.0.2 64-bit). In Firefox, I have to go back to main then select the pet again, or hard-refresh the page.
A filter to only show pets with EXP points would be useful, if it's possible to implement without too many drawbacks? Or, more easily, making the pet images 50-75% in size, so that more pets are displayed on the EXP page on smaller screens, like phones.
Sounds like a bug with Firefox, or maybe something a browser extension is doing? Forms are supposed to get cleared when you refresh a page. (In general, not just this page.)
Things will look better on phones in the future (hopefully near future) - We're still in the process of setting that up.

I've noticed the same thing also happens with my shop prices. Had no issues with input boxes on other sites (ran and tried it out just now), so could it possibly be a NoScript thing? I don't have much else running in terms of extensions that could mess with input boxes.
Glad to hear you'll eventually be working on making it look better on phones! Thanks for all your work, dude.
