Speaking of usernames. I just joined Steam today right, and of course my go-to AtomicSquid was already taken (actually several variations were; who are all these weirdos using my weird name? haha). But that's not all...one of them was even using my squid, that I drew, for their avatar (the one I use on IG). Argh. I guess I'm flattered though kinda, lol.

It does, but still feels weird to see other people using my identity and art (without permission). Like I said though, that's kind of flattering...much worse is how many sites that and other artwork of mine turns up on for sale on shirts and stuff. I might bother to fight it if I was still actively trying to sell screenprints myself but I think it's a losing battle anyway. Might as well just have a drink and forget about it XD

wow, that is wild, but yeah, kindof flattering. Grace talks about that stuff, she is trying to sell her art on etsy and stuff and sometimes she will see her prints on other sites and she's furious about it. The laws here don't do much to protect artists.

Yeah, it's a pretty major problem and there's not much you can do about it. You can file a complaint with the site you find your stuff on but they don't always do anything because it's hard to prove who created it. I've even seen a photo of one of our designs actually printed onto a shirt and hanging in some vendor's stall in...I'm not sure where it was, France or something. It was not one of our actual shirts but it was most definitely our design. Pretty crazy. Even that's sort of a form of high praise - that our designs were deemed worthy of counterfeiting. But sheesh, we had enough trouble selling our own stuff as it was, we didn't need competition from fakes of our stuff!

Yeah, it seems to be having some issues. Sorry to hear about your bathhouse streak. If you're really certain you didn't miss a day, you should file a ticket and see if they can fix that for you.

For real though, for me I think it's this damn heat. It's going to be over 90 today. My sleep has just been terrible lately and I'm probably going to melt into a gooey little puddle. is going to be me.

Yeah, it doesn't usually get this hot until August and then it only lasts a few days maybe. We've already had quite a few ridiculously hot days this year. It was like 80 in April or some crap. I've tried melatonin in the past and didn't really feel like it did anything. Not sure there's anything to be done about it when heat is the problem. I just keep waking up feeling like I stuck my head in an oven D:

Wow, I used to take it in college, I had a roommate that bought this jumbo pack of melatonin gummies and told me to help myself to them and I would take one at like, 3 pm thinking it would help me get a quick nap, and I'd wake up 10 hours later after sleeping through dinner and all kinds of people in the room and light in my face and fire alarms..... Works a little too well for me, hahaha. But I can definitely see the heat being a problem.
