thanks! Me too. Like, don't get me wrong, our apartment is fine, it's actually very nice, I just want more space and privacy and land so I can grow more than the 2 pepper plants I currently have on my balcony. And so I can get a kitty.

yes, I do. I'm torn between adopting this sweet tabby boy Henry from my best friend's mom (the downside is he is not good with other animals and is already attached to her so I might feel bad taking him away) and adopting this gorgeous tortie named Ember (a little close to my name, I know, lol) from the local humane society. But, can't do anything without a house. Sigh.

oh no, Miss Leia would be heartbroken if I took her away from my parents I think. She follows my mom around everywhere and likes to sit and watch movies with Dad. She has some serious separation anxiety too so I don't think she would do well with being alone all day while we are at work.

Aw, that's so cute, and yeah, probably best to let her stay where she is. Maybe get two cats if you can find a couple that get along well together; it's good for them to have a friend to play with while you're away at work!
