- I've been trying - he is refusing to listen to reason and making me crazy by continually hanging around pestering Tos and me. I've explained very nicely that he would be welcome to go and play with you and that Tos will play with him in another month or two, but it doesn't seem to be helping. Maybe he's bored and looking for a new challenge? Offer him ice cream - or whatever it is that Ice King's like for treats. :-)

- could be. Tos has beaten him in BQs and never fought him elsewhere, so she could win the battle, but it would take time and possibly longer than the special timer allots. So there's no reason for him to be afraid of her. But still, there must be other pets he could challenge every once in awhile. He doesn't need to follow us around the site like he has been lately. Maybe I'll just tell him if he doesn't give us a break, you and Killer Threat are going to turn him into an Icee. :-)

- that's a great idea. I'll have to look again once your hex is done. Are you using a Hypno-Monocle or Protective Sage? Those each stop 95 percent of hexes.

Tomes are only efficient if you care about the intel, but then they are by far the most effiecient intel booster.

If you look at the value of intel as 2 points being ~1.6mil, and then calculate how much you are paying for the stats, its a steal. Also at 3.5mil each on current shop search prices, you can buy amulets up to 500K and get a better deal. But once you cap, you lose access to a lot of cheap intel boosters since it blocks you from even being able to use the booster to begin with.

tomes/amulets are cost effective af.

Even if you had to waste tokens to leech to hit some sort of specific stat split, tomes usually come out more cost effective.

did you actually run the math on that, or just eyeballing it?

If you did the math what did you use for the baseline cost of each stat?

I can't speak for others, but I usually assume 10 stats per tome. I'm also not willing to pay as much as others for boosters in general. I don't boost when I "need" to -- I boost when it works for my price points. lol
