are you including the levels?

I guess the way I break down a tomes value is: 2 Intel, 2 levels, and 8 other stats Intel valued at 800K each Levels get valued at 0 And then the rest of the stats get valued at 150K-240K depending on how much I'm spending on the tomes. With that valuation for a while, random stats were 100K each.

That doesn't even take into account the HP probably could be valued much higher, since the only way to currently get HP stand alone is about 480K per point, which is insane when you compare it to tomes.

I realized I couldnt match the volume of tomes with any other booster. Sure you could buy life crystals at 4/500k or healing wines are decent prices, but how many? definitely not more than a few hundred.

whereas amulets, you can buy it by the thousands and have the avg price barely moves. 2-3 yrs ago, i bought almost 10k in the span of like 2months. cant do that with any other booster.

As for leeches, i had prob 3k imp tokens with honestly no real need for them. so thats kind of a wildcard. I think leeches all depend on tokens you have because youre not gonna find a great deal on them.

I dont have the exact numbers, but for my 24k hp pet, theres no way using health boosters would have been more cost effective. esp at that volume without waiting centuries

Yes. Level boosters usually run 2-300K. While I usually up level only through exp, I will use tomes or FFroth from the BC shop at times when the pet is out of exp.

Ahh ok, I think we have different definitions of cost effective. Sounds like you are basically comparing the cost to the cost of a market order for as much of Stat X as you need at that time over the course of a couple months.

I think if you space it over the course of 1-2 years though, it isn't really cost effective to leach stats, but if I were to go and buy up literally every booster I could until I got the stats I wanted today, it would eventually become cost effective to buy tomes and a couple leeches. Interesting.

Interesting, I usually value the levels at 0, I have kept up with level just by using tomes, but I rarely ever use the training center anyways, so I don't ever include them.

I don't think I boost nearly as much as you do. Right now, with KT, I am training str and using his exp for str and level as needed. If a str or level booster meets my price point, I will pick it up. I'm actually using tomes on smaller pets -- right now a T11 I'm trying to get to T12 is getting those. I use the training center to even out his stats and then use a tome when he's ready to go up another level.

Why don't you use the TC? The gym is much cheaper than any booster -- even at KT's level.

When I am playing somewhat actively I only jump on 1-2x per day, and usually within the window of a training session. And then I go MIA for weeks at a time. Just has pretty minimal impact overall. Bad habit really.

I haven't bought an amulet in AGES! They've just been too expensive. I can often find tomes at my price point which makes the amulets over-valued -- even at the 1:6 ratio I keep hearing about, but almost never see. lol

It's those MIA stints that are killing you. If you were on more regularly, doing bqs daily, your costs would plummet since you wouldn't need to buy boosters to keep up. Even if all you did was log on for Shinny and bqs, you'd be done in like 15 minutes and have exp to spend on the stats you wanted. :)

I use a 1:7 ratio, and the math still works out 400K for a mage amulet puts a tome at 2.8 Subtract off the cost of intel of 1.6mil puts the stats at 1.2mil If you are counting level as usable stats that puts it at 120K per stat, if you don't that puts it at 150K per stat.

at 330K mage amulets tomes are 2.3mil suptract off the 1.6mil puts the rest of the stats at 700K Using levels that puts stats at 70K each and without it or if you count levels at 0 that puts your cost at 87.5K per stat.

How much are you spending on tomes? I haven't seen a decently priced tome in years. I caved and bought a bunch of tomes of shop search recently to power out the last couple wins on meatslab, but I was not happy about the price, and the person who had them in their shop was a friend who had actually lent me some weapons for meatslab or I would have never touched them.

I don't subtract the cost of intel. (Why do you? I don't understand that part. Explain?) I use a straight 10 stats per tome -- so a 2.3 mil tome is, in my mind, 230k per stat.

Because intel it is always useful and you always need more intel, and it is significantly more expensive per point, and has a relatively definable fixed value based on the pure intel boosters that are out there.

You could get all the way to a capped pet without any boosters and just EXP, but you can't do the same with intel. You have a fixed pool of cheap enough books, and once that has been exhausted, you need intel boosters.

I haven't checked how many books there are under 800K, in a while, but the last time I checked it was something like less than 700, which is not enough intel.

So I hold 800K as a fixed price per intel that I will eventually need to spend. Versus the cost of a speed which I may eventually need to leech.

Your method makes sense, but I'm going to stick with mine. I'm just too cheap. lol Besides, there are always more books coming out -- like with holidays & events. It's not like the supply will never grow. I do get the importance of intel though. You're preaching to the choir on that one.

I have had such terrible luck with amulets I started selling them to buy boosters about a month ago, LOL. I figure that it is the more reliable way to get boosters since I seem to have bad RNG luck.

I also am really hoping to get the 10 wins on Rouland too. I need 7 this year so I will be happy if I can at least get that many.
