did all my BQs and hit 5k in speed 8D! that was my last "major" goal for this year as far as stats were concerned.

has anyone else hit any of their milestones (like on this forum: 2017 Battle Goals)?

blocking the right icons for the harder challengers is definitely important but healing is important too, imo. i mean there are the occasional crit hits where you die instantly but for general attacks, you can usually stay alive longer if you have heal too. i guess overall you gotta look at a few things like the challenger's features, your pet's builds, scrolls used, weapons that you have, to determine which weapons are best for you against certain challengers. :) and i'm sorry if i stated the obvious LOL

I've gotten his RE a couple of times today. I'll tell him to go bother you instead too, lol I don't even battle him anymore.

- I wasn't talking about critical hits. As Tos has been growing and facing more high tier challengers, there are those who one hit her often with just their regular hits. That's part of why blocking becomes more and more important. If your healers heal you for 300 - 500 hp (with two percent healing weapons plus a healing scroll) but your opponent hits for 1000 or 2000 (and crits can be even more) then it's better to block the hit first, rather than try to catch up with healing afterwards. Just one more new battle technique to learn as I grow.

Don't get me wrong. I still love healing weapons (especially percent healers whose heal grows along with my pet's stats. But sometimes,, they turn out to be secondary. And yes, it definitely depends on your whole battle set and the particular challenger

- I'm pretty sure I have, but then he challenges me so often lately that I'm trying to ignore him - so it could be yesterday. I've definitely seen him more than once in the past 24 - 48 hours. :-)

I'm at 94 wins and then he goes from bugging me 6 times a day to nothing! You know it's the end when even your stalkers leave... lol

Okay, I should know by now always to listen to LOL. Threw some Singed Baguettes into the mix (replacing tears) and added some Purple Fireside Flames to throw when Rita was frozen. Actually got one or two freezes this time and ... by the skin of his teeth ...

And, yes, LOL, percent healing helps a lot more when you are at higher health to start (Tos is still only in the 1530 range - so even 10 percent healing is only 150 hp.) Trust me - if I could just use two nice healing weapons plus Aftershocks and get away with it battling would be so much easier - but then, it would probably also be less ineresting and less fun in the end. :-)

- any luck with Vintage Prodigy and Maliss Bopper with your almost T8 (or T8 now?) - and if so, would you mind telling me what you used? I have a T8 who I could try against either of them (although Maliss Bopper was soooo hard even for my T9 I would not look forward to that). Vintage Prodigy might be fun though.

Nice job! xD Now I know I said if you can get to 4 wins you can get to 5 but.....5 may be out of Tharg's reach. Now I only say that based on the picture you posted. I don't know if that was a harder battle where you got less freezing in or a really good battle where you got a lot of freezing in but still barely made it by the skin of your teeth. I would say, if you can get Rita down in the red then you have a chance. Today is also the last day of keel hauliday so it also might be that you run out of time x.x Best of luck getting win 5! Congrats on reaching 5k in speed. I’ll make my 12k in HP. Not going to make 6k in intel. I’ll keep trying. Nope. Ice King has been quiet today/Thursday for me. Congrats on your four wins. Hope you get the 5th one soon.

I got one or maybe two extra freezes that last battle (but usually haven't been getting any since win three) - and, I think, one critical hit (there are some crit strike tears scattered around too) and it was another one where Tharg was way down in the red and she took several turns to finally die, but the double shield plus Aftershocks plus Dark Magma Potion just barely kept him alive long enough to win. I've actually learned with her to use my Negating Pylonic when I get close, rather than waiting for the last turn as I would normally do, because that sometimes gives me a few rounds to gain just enough health with Aftershocks to survive. I do have a Life Shard, but opted to keep trying for damage instead. We might indeed run out of time. Especially if would like to get in some battling of her own before the pirates leave, but that's okay. We've been lucky to make it this far.

1-2 years ago, the Amulet of Drakkonis was the thing to have. But lately nobody recommends it anymore. Is it still worth getting? I have to admit I don't know whether it'll fit into my set. Already got a freezer, 2 blasters, pquill, rotl and 2 blockers. That doesn't really leave a lot of space xD And with the pquill and rotl being superior, it's difficult to get it in there. But what if I need another healer? :O

Somebody stop me from buying this, I need to boost my AP.
