I think they would need better loot than just crystals for us to go past 10 wins on the castle

Thanks I'm still trying to figure out my next set of opponents! For the time being I'm having a bit of fun hammering out all those wins and getting loot! Been particularly fond of getting tomes, as I'm trying to increase intel in order to equip more spells.

Glad to hear you're enjoying the process, that's the way it should be(not like fighting HaxBear above). Oh yeah tomes are hands-down the best way to boost your intel.

I was afraid of that.... lol I ran into the same thing on some other imp challengers.

I don't blame you for not wanting to battle him anymore. We'll have to wait until the high score tables are up and running again to push any harder on some of these guys. Bragging rights is about all the extra effort will be worth. Then again, that's all it was worth before. At least there is loot this time around, and some of it is mighty nice. ;)

Yeah, maybe there's still something nice higher up but I'm not taking that plunge anytime soon, I just earned a 29-loss vacation from all things Mage. I offer my hearty invitation to all who might like to surpass my standing record to do so and determine the delights lurking in those murky 36-50 waters, be it now or when said high-score tables return.

All sass aside, I do agree with you, at least there is loot now and yeah, the stuff for win 25 is definitely worth the investment.

We have to hand it to the BAs. When I think back on when I first joined and all the whining and complaining I heard about no new challengers, not enough to do, etc... They have come through with flying colors! Every year I just don't see how they could possibly do any better, anymore, than they have already; and every year they prove me wrong. Bless their little battle-hardened hearts! ❤ This latest reset should shut us up for quite some time to come. I will actually have to pace myself so I don't burn out...

Pretty sure the Mama Mush and Daemon scroll combo is one of the best ones of the lot.

From what I've heard the freezing scroll(cold blast scroll) is about the best one. Looking at the thread for the tattered scroll combos I'd hazard emerging rifts scroll might be decent against Impossible challengers for 9% heal but they're both once-per-battle so really I don't think they're going to be helpful for battlers at the far end of the range. Most likely I'm going to keep my tattered scroll pieces as they are for my tc-gallery instead of merging them.

Yeah, the battle admins really do an admirable job, and despite my complaining I am deep down really pleased with this reset. So thank you Purge, Cranberry, Amber, and if I've missed anyone else, you too! I'd ping you all but I don't want to waste your time unnecessarily.

OPB sucks, especially for their AP cost and lack luster stats =/ It would have been worth it if it was infinite use. Any idea what the freeze rate is on the scroll?
