Sending in multiple tickets does NOT help when we are already aware of the lag. Please do not send in tickets regarding this. I apologize for the lag but this does not mean that they are not working on it.

I've had a lot of lag and 504 issues today, currently trying to complete some quests and doing shop search but I have to refresh multiple times to get past the 504 errors.

Today is worse than usual because the Recycle Beast is asking for a very common item. It's been getting worse throughout the day as more people become aware of this and rush to turn in items, so even though extra servers spin up automatically to accommodate the lag, it's been hard for us to keep up. It should be much better tomorrow, and we've modified the Recycle Beast so that this does not happen again.
Making tickets does not help. We are already aware of the lag, and we are already doing our best to address it. We do not need users to tell us via tickets when there is lag, because we also use the same website and we can notice it too. It's frustrating for us too. It makes it harder to do our jobs. We want to get rid of the lag just as much as you do, trust me.
Over the past year, Subeta has gotten significantly better at dealing with lag and 502/504 errors are much rarer than they have been. And this is an ongoing effort that includes much more than just "adding servers" - because we don't have infinite servers, and adding servers costs us significant expense, we've also been working on changes to every layer of infrastructure to improve efficiency. I hope this gives you a better understanding of the situation.

Trying to use autopricing (main reason I get GA) today is absolutely pointless. :(
Just because it isn't fixed yet doesn't mean they aren't working on it. I know it's frustrating but we can just be patient. At least the site is still up (insert 'back in my day' comment here)

Yeah, it's a bit annoying, but you can just take a break and do some other stuff until it's fixed. No use getting too upset about it. It'll be fixed when it's fixed.

Thank you for sharing some insights on what's causing the servers to experience the high load. I just checked out the Recycle Beast - and ha! I see why everyone's talking about it and that there might be a whole lot of page loads due to what is being asked by the RB which could be putting on stress on the servers. In addition to the already heavy refreshing that's going on due to Keel Hauliday.
I agree with you and , creating new tickets when the staff are already aware of the issues does not help and only cause more workload for the staff members answering them, while we await further diagnosis and fixes to go through.
I understand your frustration but I think it's not an issue that is a simple as it looks to fix. From a technical perspective, adding servers doesn't solve everything, and there are costs involved.
Let's all stay positive, patient and give more support to the staff team who are doing their best to get this addressed! :) <3 I have seen a lot of improvement in dealing with lags since last year when we had way worse lag than we are experiencing right now, I have full faith that we will get this sorted soon.

Came here to find out if it was my internet or not, and nope! guess it's the site. hoping the lag is getting worked on. It takes minutes and multiple refreshes just to get a page to load. i wonder if it's because of freyalise restocking? Edit: thanks to for explaining what's going on :)
