I vote Pulse. Les Mis is wonderful but definitely not my pick for a month. n.n

I have all votes up to here.

It didn't take me too long to read the book, I think maybe a week and a half? I'm a speed reader though. I figured if it won I'd do maybe 2 months or more? I'd make sure everyone had enough time, even if it took a few months to do.

Oh, I read fast too. I'm just thinking that maybe not everyone would have time for it in a month. n.n It's been a while since I last read it though, so I'd certainly read it again.

The full three volumes? woah :o I've been trying to get through it but Victor Hugo's writing style is not the easiest to read. The guy seriously knew how to be long winded XD

Yeah, it wasn't the easiest read but it wasn't too bad. Had to read it in high school my senior year. I was in a duel credit class (both high school and college credit) for English and it was one of the assignments we had. It isn't an overly long thing to read, the hardest part about it is the manner he writes in. I've had to read a lot of long books that were a lot less fun for that class. (War & Peace & the unabridged works of William Shakespeare for instance.) Luckily everything we read was the English translations. In the original French, I think the book is actually longer?

Oh yeah, compared to War and peace and shakespeare, I'm sure it was a breeze. I only had to do Hamlet XD And I've heard the russians are a nightmare to read, even as translations XD

It's shorter in English? XD XD Did they just cut out useless bits they couldn't be bothered translating? XD I'm reading it in French since I'm French, but that's a bit depressing to know aha.

August Book: Pulse by Kate Sander (Kindle - Nook)

I'm thinking the time frame for this book will be one month, like last month. If this isn't enough time, let us know!

Don't forget, if you don't have a Kindle or Nook, you can read books FOR FREE on THIS site. All you need is a free Amazon account! (Meaning you don't need a payment option!)

Our discussion for Alice's Adventures in Wonderland is located HERE, so go on over and chat away!

Also, not many people voted this time (5 votes total!), so I was wondering if we needed to do this every 2 months or so? I'm not sure if everyone is just super busy, if you guys didn't like the book options, or maybe something else. Please leave feedback though! We are always looking to make this better. :D

Old Post Last chance to vote!! I will be posting the winning book :59pm on the 31st.(That is tonight!)

So far Pulse is in the lead.
