I used to be huge into Neopets, but it started going downhill even more, so I wanted something similar, but less strict. I did some searching and found Subeta. Neo is hardcore history now. ^_^

Some friends I knew from Neopets suggested me to try out Subeta, so I did and stayed. I had left Neopets about half a year before I joined here (and before v2 luckily *congratulates self) because I was fed up with incompetent "support" members and 99,9% of the German community. Never looked back and never ever will, Subeta is my one and only online home.

I was browsing the GameFAQs message boards twelve years ago and decided to kip into the board for Neopets, someone on there was advertising Subeta as an alternative and since I'd stopped playing Neo for a couple of years at that point I decided to give it a shot. I had a lot more fun in my first few months and decided to stay and mostly stay active.

I joined to help a friend get a referral point. I was completely hooked after my first Lumi ;)

Someone on Neopets suggested this site to me and I'm really glad that I decided to check it out. :)

I was merely searching for new virtual pet games online and found this one during a search. I was so happy to find it too as I had never heard of this site until then!

I, as the majority of other people here, played neopets when I was like 10ish years old. Things were scammy on the site then and I found my account hacked. I was so young that it was a huge blow to me. I didn't want to start over on there so I googled pet sites. Lo and behold here I am today years and years later :P

I heard about Subeta while checking the Neopets facebook page I think. I was tired of dealing with lag and decided to play on another pet site while things on Neopets were being fixed. I kinda prefer Subeta since its easier to earn money to get rare colors like angel.

I got fed up with the pet sites I used to play on. I then did a search for others, decided to try Subeta out and have been here ever since. (Nearly 13 years now).

I don't exactly remember to be honest...Like so many I played Neopets, and to this day I still go back on there every now and then. But I remember I had a few Neopets friends who were on Subeta too, so it's possible I found it from them. The one thing I can remember is that the customizable HA's are what drew me in. They remind me of the dress up games I was obsessed with as a kid hahaha!

I think it was by complete coincidence, I happened to stumble upon someone's Feli fanart on deviantart and it looked cool and I went to investigate where it was from and became hooked pretty quickly because I had played neopets and gaia online etc. in the past too and this is like.. a combination of those two but 300x better imo :)

10 years ago my friend and I were addicted to Neopets and it just became kind of boring. We spent one day exploring the web for other sites that had the same idea but were a bit different. We found Subeta and eventually never went back to Neopets. We have taken a year break here and there but eventually come back on. I can never seem to stay away :)

It's been a while but I think one of my real life friends showed me Subeta back when we used to also play on a couple other pet sites. Now I only use Subeta. Have no idea how the other sites are doing now.

One of my friends in High School showed it to me and said it was going to be the next big pet site. At the time I was mad at neopets but still wanted a pet game plus this one had human avatars so how could I not join.

My best friend told me about this site, probably after I mentioned how I used to play on Neopets or something. Sometimes we take a break for a few months but even after all of these years we still come back :P

Surprised no one mentioned Tektek, I was making my dream avatar on there and noticed the ad for Subeta on the side of the page. Looked it up, fell in love with the look of HAs and decided to join.

Its crazy how so many people came from Neopets so long ago. I came from Gaia online. I typed into google about 11 years ago virtual pet sites and Subeta popped up. My original accounts got frozen cause my dumb ass had made multiple trying to cheat the system. Lol I've learned since then and this is my only account.
