The Wizard's staff makes it onsite as a weapon but it's only for lower tiers. I wonder what godly option he would have to offer if his turn comes to release a weapon under his name. Wizards Pink Throwing Slippers? LMAO.

That makes sense with his stinginess :P I doubt he would have any good weapons to offer soon considering how stingy he is with all of his tome rate.

Agree, the crystal shop is fine for some lesser things like the plushies, but the amount of crystals that would likely be required for the old weapons would just be too much I think. Not fun.

yeah, I agree with you. and some people who don't care about battling and have hoards of crystals would buy them up before any real battler would have a chance.

Consider the two times the Keiths ultimate freezewand was in the crystal shop, 100k and 250k crystals :P

I'm pretty certain is was around 2010 when it was there for 250k, couldn't tell about the 100k time as a friend of mine told me about that!

2010 was around the time when I first joined, so I wouldn't have noticed as I was still getting accustomed to the site in general. Anything over like 10-20k crystals would be too much for me though, I've been struggling as it is (read: being lazy and not vending) to get the 5k and so for the old mystical plushies.

damn thats crazy. Yeah i was around when it was 100k. there were 10 released. And people literally grinded months for them.

i found a post in 2009 where the M-staff was sold for 10k crystals, though can only see it in the comments. Link crazy how a year or so changed the price scaling.

I feel your pain re. the Crystal Shop. I made it to 10,000 and gave up. That's basically the most I've got in my crystal bank.

- an Elwood weapon would be fun. Maybe some sort of sharp edged whirling pizza (since any Elwood weapon would have to be pizza related). I think it should be both a weapon and a food to fit with Elwood's tendency to cause a bit of chaos.

A little sibling competitiveness is probably good for both of them to reach to do their best, as long as you don't let it get out of hand. :-)

- true, there is that heal. I have noticed that light block is not needed very often. And the percent heal seems to get more important at higher health levels where it might actually keep you alive. :-) Right now, often Tos can beat a challenger (even if not every time) or else he hits her for lots more than her total health, so even a GoTF or a Phoenix Quill doesn't always help. But that will change as Tos continues to train and grow. And I am trying to do those BQs. The good news is I'm still saving all my EXP so it's up to 2.3 million now. And there are all those boosters and some mage amulets as well.

My problem is that I don't save as much when there isn't anything in there that I want. I do my quests every day, and extra items I frag so I get some crystals that way. When a lot of new items get added, I'll vend more to try and get more crystals. But I don't usually vend as much when there isn't anything new.

I need to try and get those two plushies this time around though, and I want to try and do it quickly because I have a feeling the shop will be clearing again at the end of this year. It's getting a bit cluttered.

Maybe a cursed pizza dough weapon that you can throw in your opponent's face? That would be funny.

I know. Having things I actually want there would serve as an excellent incentive to frag things. Most of the time I just don't bother. Just hope they won't release a godly via the Crystal Shop. I dread the prospect of fragging hundreds of thousands of crystals just to get my hand on one (though I will likely do anyway if one shows up).

[edit] I almost forgot about Reischen who is in charge of the battle quest. It would make sense for him to give out weapons too :D

I still think Antique Shop would be better, since it was pretty much created for that purpose. And it's a better sP sink, since you'd be throwing your millions directly into the digital abyss.

LOL good point, maybe part fire block and part something else. As for the item art, I imagine something akin to the Frosting Beast we got during the food truck event. Just with pizza dough instead, and maybe dotted with some pizza toppings.

make sure you use that exp before the next tier and the exp costs go up :)
