Have you tried slotting all BoNAs on your main attackers? I used lots of BoNAs against the Stomper and freeze him only when the anti-steal blessing is lifted. Once your blessing is up you might find him quite an obedient piece of jelly :P

- those stealing gelatins are tough! After your mini break - keep going - if you just need one more win you could always get lucky. Don't know about the Stompers (Tos is just not big enough for them yet) but lots of BoNA mods helped with the Wizards. At least then they had to kill Tos using their own weapons. :-) (And we did manage 2 wins.)

- how about if you use it until just before your flight, then send it back no matter what your win count is? That way I can try again in a bit if there are any Wizards left? I'm tired of Wizards for right now, but not quite sure I'm done with them yet. :-)

@ Morse What's your strategy against the stomper? Your pet's pretty much all-around better than my second, and he got five wins.

I know it made all the difference when I stopped chain-freezing him. I'd use my helm and OHS first turn, then if he didn't freeze me or steal anything, I'd use my OHS and Cronus, both fully modded with BoNA to try to get my blessings up. Then I'd hold on to my freezers in case they dropped. That was I could freeze him and buy myself some time to get them back.

Do you have an AU? Mine's only got BoNA on it so I don't mind lending if you wanna try it.

I haven't tried all BoNAs yet, I now have a mix of parched and BoNAs. Perhaps I should try that approach still ;) I hate it when the thing swipes either my PQuill and uses it as soon as I've made some actual damage or my Natasha, which prevents me from creating more stealing fodder. The only upside I see here is that after all this I feel like I'm better prepared to face the dick bear, which I've been putting off :D

Actually your strategy sounds a lot like what I've been trying to do. Helmet + OHS on first round, then I get frozen myself at least 8 times out of 10, then Natasha + OHS and hope like crazy nothing will get stolen. I'll only bring our the freezing scrolls (of which I have only 2, because my Kentish is a dummy) when the stomper is below 8k hp or so, It worked 4 times, but now it feels like I'm not getting anywhere.

@ Morse Oh man, take that Pquill out! If you have a full earth and physical block, he shouldn't ever be able to chip you down. Just load up on attackers.

Fair point about the PQuill :D I'll try without it. I guess I'll need to see if anyone would be lending an Ether...

What are your scrolls? Your pet's smarter than mine, and I had three freezers and a constant on him. Bombs and healers are useless against this guy.

And I don't have an Ether, but I don't mind loaning my AU if you want to try it. It's short one mod slot, but it did the trick for me.

I have Ocean Currents, Psycho Smasher, Shriek of Despair, Perilous Whirlpool, Gale Force, Cobalt Eternal & Assassin (one of each). 92 AP that I know could probably be better spent.

In addition to these, I have a Gelaspell, Gift of the Forj and Aftershocks.

Swapping OC for Aftershocks just occurred to me, so that should help a bit.

I've got a very similar scroll set as you do. I alternate between Aftershocks and Gelaspell for heal and freeze chance, and use only Shriek and Psycho when my anti steal blessing is lifted. Perhaps you might want to take up 's offer on the AU. I can lend you my Ether but I'll need mod replacements so if you can do it with AU (which I think you totally can!) then it would save you a couple parched. However if you ever need the Ether I'm happy to lend you mine.

- 3 wins!!! Wow - that Frostbite Amulet really did the job for Maskros! I guess that higher freeze rate plus water block works. As far as I know, Maskros is now the leader of the T9 pack (I think Oranos is still at two since is on vacation and Tos is definitely STUCK - must be all that gelatin goo - LOL.

- if it turns out you really do need some sort of clutch heal, GoTF isn't a PQuill at your hp level (it still is for Tos :-) ) but at least it can't be stolen and used against you. And it does have some attack/defense.

Shhh it's just because is on vacation and can't commit too much time to battling. I'm sure Oranos will lead the pack if is home! (Plus it took me close to 60 losses haha)

If you want to try again with Frostbite just let me know :D
