Glad to see I'm not the only one who hates Gelatin Yoshi. Dude's a complete jerk. I got to 7 wins (off the top of my head) before finally throwing in the towel. If I had OHS, I'd keep trying to kick his butt. Kinda bummed the new scroll is pretty weak for a freeze bomb off an Imp challenger.

btw, does the opponent's speed increase by 10% with the other stats after each successful battle? I thought it kept its base speed stat regardless of how many wins you get.

I'm moving to a new place the day after tomorrow and although I've done all the packing there's some cleaning left to do, so I'm afraid wizards will have to wait until next year. I wish you the best of luck with Tharg and Tos though. For me I've been very pleased with the number of achievements I've gained this war alone :)

I'm throwing in the towel. Got the 4th win and then the bstrd kept stealing my pquill and using it whenever I got it below 10k hp. I did enough losing against the hydra, this is enough :D

I think the new scroll's pretty sweet. The fixed negative healing is a plus for me since it costs less to cast than a shriek or smasher, at my pet's hp.

And as far as I know, speed is static for all challengers now.

Nah, i'm good. I don't think El wants to keep having to scrub gelatin off his fur, haha. Yeah, the fixed -heal is nice. It just looks like a scaler somehow. The new stealer bomb is nifty too. A bit situational, but not bad.

That's what i was thinking, but I'm thinking that has been changed recently. Cause Elfric was initially outspeeding, but after about the 4th win, the stomper was faster. Unless he has speed boosting weapons, i didn't really read the battle text. My blessings and the like also sucked at activating until I did boost him to 4.6k speed (about 100 points). Then all of sudden for the 5th battle/win, his blessings were actually freaking working. I dunno, it seems weird.

Yeah I feel ya. My second pet barely scraped his way to 5 wins and I'm not even gonna pretend to try for more.

I do remember seeing one of his weapons boost something, but I don't remember if it was speed or strength. I don't recall him ever getting a crit on Thracian though, if that helps. He's right at 6k speed, so if it did increase, Jelloshi should've outsped him after a few rounds.

Strength, about 75 iirc. I do remember seeing that. I dunno, speed stat is just weird. It does annoy me that blessings and curses are tied to the speed stat. Kinda wish it were blessings tied to def, curses to atk, but I guess that would be easily broken.

- the Gelatin War doesn't end until tomorrow night so I'm guessing there will be another wave of everything tonight. That would give both Oranos and Tos a chance to get some more wins, but I'm not sure what to do to try and get them (or if I'm just done for this year).

- Thank you, as always. Tharg has finished 300 battles and has done 886,583 in damage so about another 40 battles should get him over 1 million (which is good because I keep falling asleep while trying to battle - either I'm really tired, or just all battled out. (And I do still need to tackle those TBT challengers soon!). I guess all those minis and Gulp and 81 will have to wait for another Gelatin War (don't know exactly how I feel about Gulp not getting to play - she did win a core last time and now she's being neglected - feels a little bit unfair - good thing she's pretty easy going).

I am really starting to like RV and have been considering whether I should just buy one of my own. I'm holding off mostly because I already have the AoN and it seems that doubling or tripling up full blockers is very rare outside of big boss battles. Just not enough room in an 8 weapon set for everything.

I'm sure the Wizards are heaving a big sigh of relief and will return next year trembling in fear because Maskros is back.

I try not to worry too much - but you are extremely generous and it is important to me not to have one of your weapons or scrolls when you need it yourself.

Scrolls would probably not be so bad, but it's a good thing all these weapons are just pixels or all the battlers would pretty much need a huge building just to store them all! :-) And that's only thinking about the major ones that are regularly used and not counting all the others available.

At least the Quest-A-Thon is over now. And my Wayward Squirrel team managed to complete the latest HA task (just due) with minimal help from me (although when it comes to HAs I'm generally minimal help even without any conflicts).

Ran out of Wizards (and fell asleep too!) last night. was able to get his ten wins, so I'm the one who has your slayer (again). If you still don't need it back just yet, I'm waiting to see if there is another wave tonight. Tos is very stuck at 2 wins and 83 losses. (Although,, with a T9 I'm still pleased she got that far.) Thanks again for digging the sword out of your wardrobe to lend me.
