But I'm confused. If you do own an essence already, then why do you need another concoction so badly? You can just battle with the essence you have.

You've got ME and that's the weapon which has been combined by the seller and sold to you :), if I understand you right. The concoction can be combined with the core to make the Maniacal Essence itself (the weapon you have bought) which hasn't been given out yet this year, not until the war is over. Do you want to make a new Maniacal Essence with the core (given out later after the war) and the concoction?

You're very welcome :)

You only need the concoction if you want to make a second Maniacal Essence with the core given out this year. The Maniacal Essence you've got is the end product. Currently it can't be combined with anything to make anything else :) I hope that clears things up a bit ^^

Don't worry too much about it. Their arts do look similar and I often mix them up (the core and the weapon) from time to time. It can be confusing like that and I can understand if you mistake the ME for the unfinished/ lower-tier weapon (which actually is the core) :D. I hope you can be less upset now about the glitch that didn't give you the core through the achievement.

There's Insight, Torroweep, and Rimeflare from the tablets.

There's also Waradorstiltskin, Mother Mallarchy, and the Xotl Prince obtained from Ordinary Spinning Wheel, Feathered Fairy Tales Tome, and Xotl Prince Inscribed Golden Ball respectively.

There's also the cursed effigy one from the Fireside Lantern thing in the Autumn section. And the Ancient Sphinx that can be obtained by having all of the seasonal Sphinx minions in your inventory and giving them to the Wizard.

Can't beat this one. I see the two loot items, a weapon/wearable and a minion. Not sure about the scroll though, it says battle loot but it's not marked with the loot rarity.

That scroll is part of the loot too, just FYI. The weapon prize is Tier 10, no idea what it does though.
