To make it worse, it's the first week of school for me. So I only have a little over 30 minutes. I'm not going to spend it doing quests, especially with a core on the line!

I'm actually pretty lucky with the timing. I only work like ... three full days and one half day for the rest of the month. So, I have good solid chunks of time where I can dedicate to smashing gellies.

I made home made tomato sauce the other day! Tomatoes, peppers, and herbs from my garden! It was so good, I was very happy.

I love the crock pot. I just didn't plan ahead enough to use it today. Ironically, I use it a lot more in the winter than in the summer, even though it keeps the kitchen cooler in the summer because you don't have to turn on the stove. Mostly I like to grill in the summer.

I've never made homemade sauce so that sounds great :) Crock pots are great haha

I actually like putting mexican blend cheese in my spag instead of parm, makes it nice and cheesey

This year I only planted tomatoes, cucumbers and green peppers. Sure you did. You talked me into not giving up lol I do my quests when I wake up and then I battle. That way I can get things done. I was baking for Fantine but then the battlilng came out so I put baking on hold.

Not a fan of cucumbers or raw tomatoes but the tomatoes would be great for more pasta sauce! Things don't grow too well here, gotta water a lot especially when it gets super hot

Why would any of us bother wasting time with the questathon.

I did 1 quest, and when everyone else does the rest of the work i'm going to get the exact same prize as everyone else.

I also kinda suspect that they might have cheated us across the finish line on the last one, because I remember looking at it the morning before it was going to finish, and something like 2.5x the number of users online needed to do every single quest, and they still somehow made it. I forget the exact numbers, but I remember looking at it and thinking - no way thats going to happen.

I extrapolated the data you posted a while back. Based on the damage you posted for 20 turns, it will take you 2,669 battles to reach 5 mil. You can round up to 2700 to be on the safe side.

You mean for the UI? On my laptop I have my first turn scrolls and weapons setup and then all other turns since the first turn I am using OPB scrolls and weapons. Some turns I will use a different scroll but most turns are rinse and repeat

I try growing peppers, dragon fruit, goji berries, and chiltepins :)

- the baking will still be there when all the battles are over. And I'm glad that I talked you into continuing. Honestly, almost everyone here has done the same for me at one time or another.

- you mentioned no blessing early today ... and I've even shared it with others who were asking ... but I only just realized a little bit ago that no blessings is why my parched mods aren't activating. :-) Too much going on all at once!

- :-) I know said something in the news comments about the gelatins invading before school starts back up, but still ...

- I wish it were that simple for me. I have been online all day and only finished about 90 battles. I know about what I want to do, but have trouble getting it done because things aren't where I still expect them to be. (More practice with the new UI would have helped with a lot of that, I think.) But somehow it just seems to take much longer for me to select things with the new system. And then I lose focus (not usually a problem for me when battling) or get frustrated and wind up doing something else for a bit where before I would have just battled straight through for hours. I keep trying to scroll to see my damage to make sure I'm staying on track - and that actually hurts my wrist after a bit. I wish they had been able to keep the new UI's last full length box on the left with the battle text, but I understand it was a technical compromise to help support different screen size devices so I will just have to deal with it until they have some better underlying tools. Oh well - better get my act in gear because I need at least another 210 battles today and then about 250 everyday the rest of the week too. :-)
