Merlin was surprised to hear she made brooms. "She does? I had no idea! Then I would love one!" He smiles wide then realized he needed another broom so he summons one of the brooms in a corner and went back up to the group. "What do we missed? Besides 's amazing performance." Merlin didn't liked the broom he was using, he already missed his old one since that was a broom he was used to, but for now this one will have to do. He flew around a bit and then said. "I'm going to try again! Off my way unless you want to be run over!" He giggles and positions himself but waited for a student to finish his course before starting.

Merlin felt way more confident in flying and he had Magnus and Eros to thank for. "Just so you know Eros, you are a better teacher than Caswell, but don't tell him. Hope he is not around peeking." Merlin flew toward the obstacles and remembered his previous flight straight up, he breathed the air and felt the strength of the wind, it was on his favor at last, then he accelerated while flipping to upside down position. He flew quite flawless the first half of the course, not a single mistake, yet the other half was more complicated and he did it more carefully. He was surprised he made it that far when he was about to cross the rotating x-axis ring, it wasn't much more to finish the course, so he went ahead and hesitated for a moment which made him slip his hands from the grip, yet he managed to cross in the nick of time. It almost got him, but it only hit the back of the broom. Next ring he passed too fast and almost lost control after crossing it, but the last barrel was almost on his face, he made a quick turn and missed it by a hair! It was just one fast paced ring and a stationary one to go and Merlin was super excited with the current results of his adventure, so without thinking it much he crossed both and started screaming when he finished. "I DID IT!"

"She mades quidditch supplies. She outfits a lot of the teams and the of course the quidditch stores. I'll pen 'er and ask. She'll totally send one for a friend." Then Merlin went and tried it again and got through. "Way to go Merlin!" It was great to see how excited he was about flying on the broom now.

[img align=left]http://i.imgur.com/KTKugF2.png[/img] Eros was glad both Merlin and Magnus were alright. And it nice to know that the other Slytherin changed their minds about flying on brooms despite all the close calls.

Eros eyes followed Gaia as she flew through the course. Her movements were fluid, at least, from where he was watching. His jaw almost dropped, but he refused to let it. Her lap pass the obstacles was more than impressive, though not something he would say aloud on his own accord, even if deserved. Eros was a showoff, but it seems Gaia had just as much showmanship. After finishing, she even took a grand bow. He bit his lowers and turned his head away from her to keep himself grinning. Why did he want to grin? The girl just outdid him. It was annoying. Or, it was suppose to be. However, her gloating was a bit cute. And then he immediately pushed that thought out of his head. It was impressive, not cute. Where did that even come from? He looked back at Gaia, rolling his eyes a bit as she commented about him being a good teacher.

"Not the worst today," he shrugged after Magnus commented on her being amazing. She was, but Mags already said it, not that Eros was going to.

Up next was Merlin, which Eros was a little nervous about considering how many times he had to be saved today. However, the wizard did surprisingly well. Apparently, practice did make perfect. "Awesome job, mate," Eros gave a quick clap. "We might make a chaser or seeker out of you yet," the captain smirked.

Gaia hollered from where she was sitting "WAY TO GO DRAGON KING!" () and laughed "You did amazing Merlin!" looking at Magnus () "Are you trying again?" Gaia sat up a little "I would say Chaser. Merlin would be a great addition to any team in the offensive."

Sauvage heard Magnus behind her, asking if anyone else was going to do the course, but she was already at the first ring and didn't feel like calling any attention to herself just yet. She was upside down and kept her pace slow, stopping before each obstacle whether it was moving or not. For the moving targets, she waited and timed it well enough that a quick jolt forward got her through the first few moving obstacles. Eros didn't say they had to go fast the whole way through... She had a little trouble with the first moving barrel and was jostled around on the inside for not moving quite fast enough, but came away without anything more than a few bruises. She continued her bursts of slow and fast until the u-turn where she wavered for a moment, seeing how much she still had left to do. The downfall to taking her time was that she could feel her arms beginning to cramp from the weight of hanging upside down. She took a deep breath and continued forward.

She was doing just fine until she got to the faster moving rings. It took her longer to time when to jump through them and the palms of her hands were growing increasingly sweaty. But she made it! Next was the quickly moving barrel going from side to side, which she promptly went through without thinking, causing her to get jostled around like a ping-pong ball caught between two paddles. Dizzy and exhausted, Sauvage came tumbling out of that last barrel and began her decent down.

Luckily, the wind rushing up around her and the ground coming closer and closer woke her to her senses just in time for her to tighten her grip on her broom and whisper "Arresto Momentum". She caught herself mid-air, which she was proud of, and slowly regained air to be at level with the course again. She burst through the last two rings with the last bit of energy she had and collapsed on her broom, which seemed to be significantly steadier under her weight than when she had started.

Gaia jumped from her spot to check up on "You did great! Are you okay?" Gaia gave the girl a smile and waited for her to find her footing again. "Want some water?"

"Oh, yes, please!" Sauvage reached out her arm for water and noticed that she had been shaking.

After Gaia's turn and now Merlin's, Magnus was ready to try again so when Gaia asked he nodded. The problem was, Sauvage was trying it and doing really well. "Well done!" the ravenclaw said impressed. After the course was clear, Magnus tired his 4th time. He turned and twisted and went through the entire course upside-down but without flaws this time. Whatching Gaia had helped, but so had his previous runs. He felt really pleased to have gotten it.

"It is okay!" Gaia smiled and sat next to "In one session you have gotten pretty good. Broom work is all about practice." She turned her attention to Magnus run () "GREAT FORM, WOLFIE! You are almost as good as Eros ()! Some practice and you will reach perfection... you know Gaia status." Gaia laughed so hard she lay down on the grass.

Sauvage gratefully gulped the water and only broke away to laugh at Gaia's comment. "You really are very good. 'ow long 'ave you been flying for?" She asked the girl, who was now laying on the grass. Sauvage sat back, too. The grass felt cool on her skin and her muscles needed the break.

"You deed so good, Magnus!" She said, while still laying down.

"I have been flying my whole life. Dad has always been a Quidditch fan and since we have so much space to fly without being seen I have been able to fly from a young age. Mostly I would hold on to my dad but I got pretty good once I came to Hogwarts. I like to fly with our owls when we train them." Gaia turned to to make sure she was okay and went back to looking at the sky. Thinking.

"Me bark isn't worse than me bite though," Magnus said sticking his tongue out at his laughing friend. He smiled at Sauvage, "thanks, its getting better. I 'aven't been flying long so I can't out do Miss broomstick 'ere...yet. You know Gaia, I bet the 'arpies would let you practice with 'em. Mum normally takes me to their practices a few times in the summer, would ya like to come?"

Gaia sat up "seriously?" Gaia looked at Eros and quickly turned her attention back to Magnus "could I invite a friend as well?" Gaia blushed but quickly added "you sure you want to be schooled in front of your mom? Gaia giggled and drag Magnus down to sit on the grass too handing him some water "you should really clean yourself up or you will get sick. Wolf snot is difficult to clean up, you know?"

Towards the end, it seemed like it was really testing her and Eros smirked a bit, watching her push through with all her energy. There was a moment where she fell that alerted the Slytherin and got ready to cast the charm, but it seemed Sauvage was able to catch herself. And when she finished, she seemed exhausted, which meant she gave it everything she had. It was a quality Eros liked in others, one of the few. He flew up next to her to make sure she wasn't going to pass out or anything, but it seemed mostly like relief. "Lap very well done," he complimented. "I mean, a little messy here and there, but you made it through."

Following Sauvage was Magnus. His last run of the course was flawless compared to his earlier attempts. "Fourth times a charm. Nice go, mate," Eros congratulated the lycan, ignoring Gaia's comments indirectly calling him second best. She had a way of getting underneath his skin.

The Aussie relaxed on his broom a bit as he waited for the other students, his ears attentive to the conversations happening around him. Magnus mentioning his mom made the sixteen year old think about his own mother. He kind of wished he had as good as a relationship as the one Mags seems to have. The thought was brief as Eros buried it to focus back on the other students.

(night riptide) "Ow do you think I got so good in only two and some odd years Gaia? You know mum played for 'em. I never flew till I was ten. She's always visiting 'er old team... outfits 'em with quidditch supplies." He shrugged his shoulders, "why not. Feel free. And I ain't proud, I know I'm not that great. I'm fair but I broke me arm in the course... no one else did." She pulled him to the ground. He let himself flop on the grass, suddenly feeling very deflated. Eros complimented him and Magnus nodded but he didn't feel he deserved the congratulations. Maybe he shouldn't compare himself to the others but he had and now he felt awful.

((g'night!)) Eros complimented her lap, pointing out that it had been messy but at least she'd finished without dying. She mumbled a "thank you" while looking away and blushing. With how stoic Eros generally was, is felt weird to receive a compliment from him and it made her feel suddenly elated and yet uncomfortably self-aware at the same time.

"I am curious...I 'ave never been to a professional Quidditch match before. What are zay like?" Sauvage dropped her question in between Magnus and Gaia as they talked about flying and such.

"Why so gloom, champ?" Gaia nudged her friend "you know you are my first pick for any of my teams." She squirted him with some water and laughed she asked absent mindedly "do you think Eros would like to come with us?" ()

"Games are the best. It is loud and the energy and excitment is contagious. You shoukd come to a real game with us. It would be so much fun if we got a group together. What ya think, Magnus? I am sure Fade, Merlin, Harper, and Paddy would like that too!"

Oh sure, he was supposed to tell her that watching other less experienced fliers get through in less times and without an injury was making him upset? "Day before the full moon," he said instead, "bound to be moody." He sighed and totally ignored the water poured on him. "Sure, you can..." he sat up looking at her shocked, "wait...you...wanna...Eros?" he blinked at her as the water dripped down his face. "'E'd love it, I'm sure..."

"Yeah, could get tickets easy enough," he said distractedly.

Gaia whispered "you know better than lying to me." She was still teasing him but the message was clear. "Yes, we should go!" Gaia ignored Magnus disbelief and gave him a towel. He was still a mess but his skin will be flawless.

He shrugged and replied, "Well, I'm failing divination, so obviously I don't know better." His eyes did give a hint of the lame joke attempt. "Go on, ask 'im if 'e'd like ta come. Though 'e should probly sign a wavier saying 'e won't sue you or me family if 'e gets punched." Magnus twitched a smile. He hadn't bothered to use the towel.
