The smell he had smelt on Merlin before was intensifying as Merlin smoked and growled. Magnus knew, because he transformed 6 times a month -to werewolf and back-. He knew the pain, and the smell so he knew what Merlin was going to change into. Hadn't Merlin mentioned flying before? But he thought it was a smooth transition?

"'E's transforming, Tamsin, trust me, I know what that pain means." "Merls," he said, "don't fight it. It'll be less painful."

Lottie saw what was happening and in concern started to grab the others and push them into to the trees. "Into the trees!! Like lemurs!! go go!!!" Lottie was shoving rather they liked it or not...she looked over at Magnus. "no no no NO NO!" she ran over and grabbed him around the waist. "He will be fine...not the time..up the tree!!! werewolves belong in trees!!! once she saw everyone was to safety she went up as well!

Millie's eyes got really wide as she watched Merlin collapse from a coughing spell. She wanted to do something to help Merlin () but wasn't sure what. Then Lee () cast the Petrificus Totalus spell and Merlin froze in place.

Charlotte () grabbed at Millie and tried to force her into the tree. "I'm fine. I'm going to stay on the ground. I would probably fall out of it"

Magnus fought violently, and got out of her grip. "I can 'elp him. PLEASE let me." And he went back over to Merlin, in a safe distance. "Breath through it. Don't fight it. Think o' cool water and streams. Let the transformation flow."

The spell hit Merlin's back and it throw him to the ground, his arms were full of silver scales and so was the rest of his unseen body, but because of the spell the transformation stopped.

Tamsin went to his side and looked confused. "What are you turning into?" She lifted his shirt and saw more scales, hard, so hard to the touch like an armor. "No, it can't be...never seen anything like this." She was whispering but was sure some of them could hear her. She suddenly stood up, grabbed his bag and said. "Alright, thanks Lee, we are moving now." A new balloon was now next to Tamsin but she looked worried. "Magnus, please lead us to the lake."

Lee put away his wand and carefully climbed down the tree, waiting so he could walk with Charlotte. He had seen the scales from his point up high. "You ok..?" he asked Lotte.

They should have let Merlin transform. He worried the next one would be extra painful. Actually he was surprised the spell worked, knowing what Merlin was turning into. He came over and put his hand on Merlin's shoulder.

He nodded and took a second to smell the water and started leading them to the Lake. He hoped Merlin would be okay. Stopping a transformation--he didn't think that was good.

Charlotte went and helped anyone who was up a tree back down.

She then waited for Lee and to bring up the end of the group. She looked at the rubble around her and saw something had survived...a black flower. She looked at it and decided not to say anything, not even hint it was there...as the rest of the group was ahead. She felt something should survive this mess...there would be others.

Emmett help Millie up and they joined the group and started walking to the lake. "At least zis is eventful" Emmett told Millie. She looked and nodded at him as he put the water bottle back into his pocket. Millie wanted to ask Merlin if he was okay but decided now was't a good time

Lee walked alongside Charlotte. "This has been on heck of a day," he said quietly. He looked over at the Merlin balloon. "I hope he will be ok, " he added.

((OOC: the spell worked because he was in beginning stage otherwise it wouldn't have worked.))

Tamsin was really worried, she had liked Merlin a lot and now he was also angry with her, so angry he was turning into that creature. "If you please look for those flowers, maybe we can leave faster." She felt like all of the student would just attack her any moment and it reminded her of her time in school, most were scared of her power and only one friend she had. She kept looking to every direction hoping nothing more would come their way, not even wind.

She had a headache...and her allergies were getting to her...she was turning the rock of protection Merlin had given her on her arrival as well as gently checking on her friend. "I hope so too." she walked with him.

She could see Tamsin's concern and she sympathized with her. She didnt want to say anything though...not at the moment at least.

Magnus smelt the flower before he saw it. "Tamsin, I see one... would you like to pick it or should I?" He pointed to the flower

Charlotte walked quickly and quietly up to Tamsin and did what she knew, in regards to trying and helping to feel better or comforted. She slipped some cotton candy in her hand. She knew Tamsin knew she was there. She just wanted to give her some comfort before taking her SMELLY ass back to the end of the group with Lee.

[Edit] The auror found candy on her hand and smiled. "Thank you Charlotte." She barely felt the girl move yet there was the candy.

Tamsin looked at where Magnus pointed. "I can take it, just put my hand on it please." Magnus did and after he step away she pulled it and pulled. "Am I touching it?"

He put her hand gently on the flower. And nodded. "Yeah you are. So strange you can't see it. Go ahead and give it a tug."

He saw Charlotte give some candy to Tamsin. that was sweet. He smiled at her.

Once again she gave it a pull but couldn't see anything in her hand. She sighs, no way she couldn't cut it either, right? So she thought 'please let me do this?' after one last pull nothing happen. "Great, looks like I can't cut it either. I just wonder why this plant doesn't like adults?"

She was quiet about it and watched. Her head was throbbing and she leaned it against Lees arm. She hopes the flower doesnt hurt Tamsin.

Magnus frowned. It looks like she couldn't pull it. "Oh, I'm sorry," he said sounding upset. "I was tryin' to cheer you up."

Lee looked down at Charlotte when she laid her head against his arm. He gave her a small smile, which of course she couldn't see, but maybe she could feel it.

Lee watched curiously as indeed, Tamsin as an adult, could not pick the flower. 'Strange,' he thought..that a flower could only allow someone underage to take it from the ground.
