She munched on the pear now and trailed in the back of the group, near Tansim, as she kept her eyes open for the elusive black flowers. The appearance of Lenore () and Charlotte () was nice. Poppy had met them briefly in the common room and was glad to be among some Slytherin girls. She envied Lee's () ability to change himself into a handsome dog, especially as they made their way deeper into the forest. Magnus () had perked up considerably; he was a social animal if she'd ever seen one and was getting on well with the new Slytherins.

Poppy was so distracted searching for flowers that she was surprised to see some familiar faces () () from the previous workshop, once they found themselves further away from the castle.

Tamsin was really upset by now, they have wasted so much time in silly fights and she was not going to butt in unless they were killing each other for real so she watched and saw how Merlin got knocked out and no one even noticed the prefect was out buried in leaves, but she stayed quiet trying to know the group better, their abilities, and their loyalties. After they started a tea party she got even more pissed, this was not the place for this and if it wasn't for her silent charms they would have been surrounded by all the predators of the forest by now. Tamsin shook her head, she shouldn't have accepted Appoline's idea to take a group of students to help her. This students dare to tell her she was crazy and careless when they were the ones trying to kill each other and trying to get the rest killed as well.

So after the dog took a nap she snapped. "This is nice, so beautiful, a nice camping out in the woods with friends and foes drinking tea and taking naps. You are all clueless, we shouldn't stay so long in the same place. First of all you are not alone so you shouldn't be so selfish as to ran off to see what you want and put everyone else in danger, the sleeping dog there blames the wolf for telling on them but I saw you both leave, I HAVE EYES! Now, making so much noise and believing no creature will hear you is even more stupid, the noises are increased and echoed through the woods and wood pixie girls should know that. Now, luckily I put a silence spell around us but this is not completely safe, some can just feel us or see us and we are here sitting down, and sleeping being the PERFECT target! How smart my darlings, you all think to know it all but you are in the forbidden forest, not the tea club. Now, get your asses up and lets get moving, we need to find 23 flowers and deal with their magic explosions...if anyone cares to know that in your fight a log hit Merlin's head and he was knocked out, well now you know. So, like I said you are not alone and are causing accidents."

Tamsin moved her wand, lifted Merlin's body from the ground and clean him. "Let's see if he wakes up." Another wand movement and the silvered haired boy started to blink slowly. "Welcome back little wizard." She looks at the group. "Now, if you don't want me to put a spell on each of you and a leash on that dog, get your asses up and lets move out on the RIGHT DIRECTION. We stay as a group or I will send you all back. If you wish to see something, ask - we can possibly do it but don't go wondering by yourselves because this time it won't be a student telling off to me, it will be me telling you off to the headmistress and that will put you in REAL trouble. Now let's move, I'll take the sleeping dog, he looks better asleep."

Merlin was confused, he didn't remember what happened or why they were there. "What are we doing here?" He looks at everyone nearby and his face was even more confused. "I must be asleep."

((OOC: You guys really had fun last night! I had so much to catch up to! lol)

[img align=left]https://i.imgur.com/wIWTZKb.png[/img] Poppy had eaten her pear down to the pips, and discreetly dropped them and sidled up to Merlin (). "Tamsin is upset with us for wasting her time. We're supposed to be gathering rare magic black flowers. I bet she could be doing more important Auror things..." Poppy whispered to him again, "I'm trying but I don't even know where to look. Only one of us has found anything."

Magnus got up quietly and started following. Tasmin was right to be angry. "Feeling okay, Merlin?" He asked feeling bad that he hadn't noticed the prefect being knocked out. He gave a shy smile to Poppy. He hoped everything would be better now. He felt bad for Drew and Merlin...and well he just felt bad.

merlin looked at Poppy and smiled. "Hello..." Then after her story he laughed. "What? Who's Tamsin?"

"WHAT?!" Tamsin couldn't believe it. "You are mocking us all, aren't ya? Come on Merls, tell me it's a joke."

Merlin stares at the woman in black. "Do I know you? I don't remember ever seeing you in my life." Merlin looks at Poppy. "You tell me Poppy, why is everyone drinking coffee and I am not?"

[Edit] Merlin heard Magnus voice and nods. "I'm fine." "But...I'm hungry."

[img align=left]https://i.imgur.com/wIWTZKb.png[/img] Poppy looked at Tamsin () and Magnus () worriedly. "What's happening to him? Should we carry on in here finding flowers?" She hoped the Auror would know how to proceed. "What should we do?"

"I'm not drinking coffee Merlin," Poppy patted him on the shoulder awkwardly and tried not to look as scared as she felt.

Magnus rummaged in his bag and pulled out a pasty. As far as food smell went, it was very light. "Ere you go." He was really concerned about the no memory thing. "Tamsin," he said, "You want me to...er take him to the ospital wing?" He didn't want to miss the rest of the outing but he was worried too.

Merlin took the food and ate it with one bite then said. "I have a banana!" He summoned his bag and took the banana and bite it. "Mmmmm"

Tamsin stares at Merlin and frowns. "You are faking it, right?"

Merlin looked at her and Mag. "GOT YA!" He laughed. "Alright I just got tired of so much fuss and arguing, I want to have FUN! Now, lets move everyone!" He finished his banana and smiled at the auror. "You were worried about little Merlin?"

She looked away. "You'll pay for that."

Merlin put his arm over Magnus. "Let's move fast, it will get dark soon and we have nothing."

[img align=left]https://i.imgur.com/wIWTZKb.png[/img] "We could send his owl with a message back to school if we need to too." Poppy waited irritably for Tamsin () to supply them with some answers. She spotted what looked like a black carnation by a little ring of rosy red toadstools.

"Here's your flower," Poppy thrust the bloom into Tamsin's hand unceremoniously. "Stupid flower," she thought. "Hiccup." A silvery violet bubble blossomed from Poppy's mouth and hung suspended in the air.

She laughed when Merlin revealed his trickery and the bubble burst, raining down little blue sparks. "Glad all that's done with! You gave us a fright."

"You jerk," Magnus said with affection. He started laughing. "Glad you're okay." He smiled brightly and nodded. "Yeah we did loose a lot o' time.

Merlin smiled at Poppy's flower effect, it was kinda cute. "I'm glad it was just that, I was afraid you may have turned into something as ugly as Lee evil dog form!" He giggled.

He pushed Mag playfully. "I had to pay you guys back for that show and you don't dare to leave us, I need you here." Tamsin seem pleased with the new flower found and once it was in place the group starts moving away toward the lake deep into the forest. "I want to find a flower too." He pouts and wished the magic will just be something cool, like highlights or getting taller.

They walked faster this time but looking everywhere then Merlin stopped suddenly. "Can you hear that noise Mag?"

((OOC Going to have lunch with my family-later))

Poppy's hiccups were rather funny and Magnus smiled. He had thought of leaving, several times. The boy nodded. "I won't," he said quietly. At least Merlin was okay. "You'll find one, or I will and point ya." Magnus was looking intently for flowers so Merlin could pick on and hadn't fully been paying attention to the noises of the forest. But when Merlin stopped, Mags nodded. "Yeah," he said, "I do."

"Look!" She pointed. A thicket of enormous pine trees was dropping pine cones the size of Quaffles. Poppy broke one apart, to find that it was lighter than it looked and filled with pine nuts. "I bet loads of little creatures will be around here trying to eat these."

((ooc - I think I got everyone, if not sorry. Just posting this so that Drew is alive and following the others as I have to head to work soon. Also not sure that I ever really described Dodger...he's a mix of husky and Australian Shepherd that Drew adopted from an animal shelter 😄))

It was dark. But that was alright. Drew liked the dark. He could smell the grass and trees. He was lying in the back garden at home, looking up at the night sky. No, that couldn’t be right. There were no stars. And…Drew discovered…he hurt all over. Had Fleet thrown him?? That didn’t seem right either though. The boy tried to focus his foggy mind but it was hard at the moment. Then bits and pieces began to come back. He was at Hogwarts…in the Forbidden Forest…and…his mind jolted as he remembered. He’d been walking away, seeking a bit of solitude, and he’d been hit in the back by…Lee! Drew remembered being knocked to the ground and then suddenly it wasn’t the dog but the boy on top of him…pummeling him for no reason…and yelling…and then the darkness. He remembered the words ‘what is wrong with you?’ More to the point, what the hell was wrong with LEE??!! Why couldn’t he have just let Drew go off and sit under a tree like the boy had planned to do??

Drew, his eyes still closed, felt the familiar furry body of Dodger pressed against him. The dog realized his master was waking and whined softly, nuzzling Drew’s hand and then his neck. The boy slowly opened his eyes a mere slit while his fingers sought the comforting softness of Dodger’s fluff. He forced his eyes open a bit more and then wished he hadn’t. There sat the rest of the group…having a cozy little tea party. But that was soon broken up by Tamsin. He listened to the woman’s rant and slowly eased himself to a sitting position and then struggled to his feet. Well no one had to worry about him anymore, Drew thought to himself. He planned to stay quiet and attempt to make it back to the castle alive. If he happened to see anything cool in the meantime that was fine with him, but at the moment all he truly wanted was to get back to his room and stay there.

As the others began moving out, Drew followed quietly, his hand on Dodger’s head.

Magnus saw the nuts and was apprehensive not sure what creatures were about. He also was quietly looking back and checking on Drew, but trying to give the older boy space because he had asked for it before the attack.

(Back track part) To Magnus

Charlotte nodded about the cops. "Oh yes...and forget trying to run away. They just drag you back...regardless of the situation." she shook her head. "Ohhhh I like the teddy bear..." she chuckled. She smiled at Magnus. "You wanna tell Lenore your story first? Youve have quite the interesting on...and oohh yes it might help, the meat I mean to bring a thestral close for Lenore."

To Lenore

She looked at the pretty owl that was handed to her. "Hello beautiful. What lovely eyes you have..." she then looked at Lenore. "So pretty! I love the little tufts on its head!"

To Drew

She looked back over to the boy and felt bad. She didnt get why these things were happening however she was brought out of it by the yell from Tamsin. ((To Leafling, Mags did heal you a bit. Im not sure if you saw that.))

Charlotte sighed. She wanted to yell back at Tamsin...but she didnt. Tamsin had taken Lee, which was fine. She looked as everyone was getting up, and her eyes went back to Drew. She wasnt going to leave him behind and she knew he needed checking on.

She saw he seemed to be coming around. "Do you think you can walk?" she asked. She wanted to offer to help him, but she knew how that had turned out last time. She didnt want to fight anymore. 'How had this all gone so wrong?' she thought.

Charlotte watched as Poppy had found a flower and burped a bubble. She chuckled quietly. She also thought the nuts were fascinating. She picked up a couple of the nuts from the big pine cone and stuck them in her bag. She kept her eyes open for the flowers.

Tamsin was listening and checking everyone was still within the group but noticed someone didn't looked so good so she approached the young man. "Drew, is it? If you are not feeling well, I can send you back, but Mags heal you...or so I thought." The boy didn't replied and just looked away from her. "Fine, don't complain saying I didn't asked." The dog growled at her and she moved away. "I don't see how this will work out." Tamsin regretted coming, she didn't remember students being like this when she studied.

Merlin was still trying to make sure the noise was just the pine cones or if there was something else, he looked around but didn't see anything strange so he kept walking. "Up ahead be careful, the trees are a bit playful over there so try not to touch them. They are not whomping willow but are quite mischievous. I was stuck on one for a day once." Merlin rolled his eyes, was he saying too much? He looked to the ground and on a root of one of the trees, there was a black flower. "I'm going to get it...do you think accio may work?" He tried but the flower didn't moved. He approached hoping the tree wouldn't grab him instead so he carefully cut the flower without touching the root. Once he cut it, it gave out a bright blue light but nothing more. "I got it!" He smiled and turned to show it but their faces made him believe something happened. "What?"

Tamsin laughed. "Oh, how cute! You have whiskers!!!"

Lee felt himself moving and tried to open his eyes. The world was blurry and he blinked a few times until his vision cleared.

((OOC Merlin, how is Lee being carried...? he is ready to wake up and walk now ))

Charlotte tried to catch Tamsins clothing gently with her hand. She spoke quietly. "Miss Tamsin, could you do a healing on me please?" she didnt want the others to hear or worry but she was hurting all over. She was good at healing others but not so good at doing it on herself.

Otherwise Char was being quiet. She watched as things happened of course.

Tamsin was shocked to see someone ask anything from her, but she nods. "Where are you hurting?" Whispered the auror, she didn't see anything but maybe she was somehow covering it. "What do you feel?"
