it all depends on luck -- i have a full set of ylissean summer units but i sank a lot of orbs into getting shirtless frederick lmao i don't think they'd rerun the easter banner since the units've all been on legendary banners? but who knows... i sure wouldn't mind another chance to pull the spring mages o:

- It's possible to get the full sets, just be prepared to spend a TON of orbs to get them. I don't think they'll rerun the whole banners, but we've slowly been seeing the event guys make cameo appearances on legendary banners.

I'm gonna run out of orbs on this banner :( Down to 40, and up to a 9.75% focus rate, I really hope that I at LEAST get ONE more 5* with my remaining orbs (unlike last time uuugh).

I have come to terms I'm not going to get legendary Ephraim :( Aside from only getting 1 blue orb per summon, I got a summon with no blue orbs and got pity broken by B!Ike. Mixed feelings, again - its kind of funny when I think about it, how badly I wanted him and many orbs I spent trying to get him on his first banners and now he just shows up when I'm not trying XD I haven't decided if I am going to merge him or fodder him for Steady Stance.

I've completed all of the Lloyd quests now - beat fliers and armours last night. Tried Michalis again with Armours today and just get eaten so back to the drawing board (I really don't like all-armour teams)

Got a free Soleil on my free pull from the new banner. I have about 3 of her now, I might have a look at some builds for her to see if she can be a new project.

Happy voting gauntlet Go team Takumi (who else, haha). Looks like the evil people are all winning at the moment, I'm fully expecting F!Celica or Grima to take the title.

I had a purge of my friend list (including someone with a Lvl 12 Corrin that kept appearing on my VG team) so I will add to you now.

At least Ephraim should be back in the April legendary banner, so maybe you'll get him later! I'm also coming to that point with Summer Corrin, except we don't know yet if seasonals banners are going to have a rerun - I really hope they do! I'm still doing a last pull on Legendary banner this weekend (and also going to try to get something out that 4.25 pity rate on the Valentine banner) but I'm not expecting anything. At least I won't be deceived. XD

Honestly thought that Celica could maybe be the only one good hero to win but it's not going well for us haha. I don't know yet where I am going if we lose though!

EDIT: Got +Atk/-Def B!Ike in the legendary banner in 40 orbs, then had to reach 5% on Love Abounds banner and I got 2 LA!Lilina... Both are -Atk. Haha (I'm just happy I got a focus tbh.) I only have 41 orbs left so I might do a last summon on the Fallen Heroes banner when I clear some space and get back to saving!

Uuuugh, got a second Jaffar from the Legendary banner. :( I dunno if I want to use my last 40 orbs to keep trying or not. Most likely I will just end up upping the pity rate and then being unable to summon more. Didn't get any of the 3 units I wanted. This game, I swear. OTL.

- Steady Breath is a great skill, when I got a pity breaker B!Ike, I used him for inheritance. B!Ike is pretty solid on his own without needing merging.

/waves flag, go, takumi! fight! win! and it looks like evil is doing well, but we'll see! i think grima's army is going a little too hard tbh, and if we don't cool it, i think we might lose to robin's multipliers x: (if we do, i'm gonna jump ship to whichever takumi survives, since i don't like the other options haha)

Guys, I need some advice on a couple things 1: The second Jaffar I summoned is +spd - res, which is actually the recommended stats for a lot of builds for him, because his upgraded weapon stops magic users from counterattacking, the - res doesn't affect him that much, but I already levelled up the +att -HP one to level 40, and inherited poison strike 3 and savage blow 3 onto him. Do I keep the +spd one and try to build him up, and use the +att one to give Tharja L&D 3 and glimmer, or keep the +att one, and use the +spd one to give those skills to Tharja, or do I merge the +att one into the +spd one so I don't have to inherit those skills again?

2: I have 15 orbs left, and can maybe get like 4-8 more today from quests, should I go for broke and try to get Ephraim/SCorrin/Gaius from the legendary banner with my 3-4 more summons (I'm at 8.75% focus rate), or should I give up on this banner and just save the orbs?

I'm bad at decisions guys. Halp!

OG Takumi won his round! I wasn't really expecting that. We are getting properly whipped by F!Celica though, even with multipliers.

I have 15 orbs left at the moment but am taking 's advice and sacking off my Ephraim hunt unit his next banner and saving (although one last summon is tempting). We have a new version update coming along story chapter coming soon along with new heroes and I want to make sure I have some saved up in case there is someone I really want (Although I am hoping it is Thracia banner - I don't know Thracia so I am less likely to go all in). If you save now you can give him a really good shot when he's next around.

As for Jaffar - I would merge your +att into your +spd one and make a super Jaffar. L&D is now available at 4* with Sothe so it's not as hard to get any more, and Glimmer is fairly easy to get from Peri (and Beruka I think?).

(I just have to decide who I am going to give Steady Breath too!)

- didn't realize soothe had L&D at 4) He also has Glimmer. He is very similar to Jaffar actually. Glimmer on Tharja was mostly just as an alternate special, she's currently rocking Vengeance still, which sort of works for the set I've got her with though, L&D2, Ardent Sacrifice, Desperation3 (she only needs one ardent sacrifice to get to desperation, she also has reciprocal aid if I eventually merge her and she gets 2 more HP)

Is he actually coming on another banner? I know we're getting Brave Ephraim later... I definitely need to save up for that banner. I guess I'll hold off. Sorry Summer Gaius :( You and Hector will never be mine I guess.

- I've been getting tons of blues, but no Ephraims. Just a TON of 3* Florinas. I've sent a lot of units home over the past two days. Haven't even gotten much good skill fodder guys. Picked up three Rodericks along the way. Made one of them 5* just to give my +spd 4* cordelia firesweep lance+ cus I had too many units in my barracks.

Went up to ~280 orbs yesterday so decided to drop a few more on the Legendary banner and see what my first 5* would be, going Blue and Green in the hopes that I'd pull either a S!Corrin or Gunnthrá, Spent around 60 orbs and ended up with a spare B!Ike. He's +HP -Spd which is decent, Speed is often considered his best bane, but I'm happy with my +Atk -Res one and use the new one for fodder. Happy to get a nice pull! Just... not sure what to do with him haha. I still have a spare Hector I pulled a while back because I can't decide who wants DC (maybs if I had a Myrrh it'd be an easy decision, hm). Being indecisive sucks. :c

Had 3 red orbs on Falchion so pulled 'em all, got a -Spd Lucina on my second so she's merged into my now +2 Falchion gal. She still has Defiant Speed 3 haha. I pulled a lot of Hinatas recently so maybs I can bless her with Fury 3.

Joined team BK at first, thought we might win buuut we didn't. So joined Zelgius. Just started spending flags at 6.1x multipliers, it looks like I'm gonna be able to dump a bunch of them this afternoon. Also in tangentially related news I've nearly finished Radiant Dawn! Just working through the final chapter at the moment, it's a long one. This scene (no spoilers) was a lot to handle whew.

- Seriously, leave some of that luck for the rest of us! I didn't even get a red orb on my free summon for the falchion banner. Do you spend money to get orbs? I had 280 at the beginning of march, the legendary banner dropped me down to 7, and now I'm back up to only 15.

Haha nah I'm F2P since day one. Just very diligent about doing every quest and getting every orb! Also don't usually bother with merges or rolling for better IVS, and will usually bail out of event banners after getting a single special character. I checked my barracks earlier and have 91 5* heroes at the moment, including B!Ike and Hector fodder, excluding merges. My highest merge is only +2 on Azura, Masked Marth and now Lucina. I also built up 700 orbs semi-recently so it's actually been a spendy couple of months for me. Hero Fest 3 drained me big time to disappointing results.

- I'm the same, but only have about half as many 5* as you. I do have higher 5* merges though, just the easy to get 4* summons that are duplicates. I've just been merging every Nino and Gaius I get, Nino's up to +6. Gaius is only +3. I just have shitty summoning luck. I like to summon duplicates, Ephiram and Amelia are both +2 because off banner pity break duplicates. I have spent about 150$ on this game trying to get Hector (two separate occasions), but after that no Hector the first time, and not even a single 5* unit bullshit the second, no more, they don't get my money anymore. But you're like my other friend, he has about 20 more 5* than me, and has never used feathers to get a 5* and gets 5* summons with only 3-4% focus rate. I pretty much have to get it to 6-8% to get anything, except on like 1 or 2 occasions I've gotten lucky.

I think the orb prices are kinda nuts, I'm always surprised by how expensive they are because I know how disappointing pulling, say, 100 orbs can be and that really puts me off. Plus I'm happy with the haul I have; I don't really aim for anything in arena outside of floating between T18 and T19, and there isn't any content I haven't been able to clear with the units I have. I do promote units occasionally (think I might do Lyon and Tailtiu soon, I have a couple of spare Roys so Lyon can become a cheap bow counter with TA3 while Tailtiu just has good IVs and you can never have enough bladetomes) but not really for merges unless they have distinctly better IVs.

I've been thinking about it recently given the size of my roster but not really sure which project to focus on; the point would be a high scoring unit for arena, I guess, so dragons or armours? Effie would be a good candidate but also don't really use armours for casual play so eh.

I made rank 64 on team Zelgius yesterday which I thought was pretty cool haha, carried over around 400 flags. Joined team Grima and praying for some good bonuses tomorrow to splash them on!

Wheee, was out of town for a bit there. Took every free orb I could muster, leaving me with a grand total of 4, but I finally pulled Ephraim. Now however, I don't think I'll be pulling any from the Falchion banner. I did along the way, end up getting a second Guntherra, so maybe I'll start merging her.

How do you all decide who to send home? I'm always afraid of sending someone home that will have useful skills later on. And I'm running out of 3 star duplicates.

i usually go through my duplicates for stuff like hone armor and just inherit those on to as many lvl40s as i can. eventually everyone i use has hone armor (or hone cavalry, or whatever), and i don't have to worry about keeping stray gwendolyns or jagens.

i also send home units i know i won't use, like est (virion has seal speed at 4*, and i don't use defiant res or shove, so est isn't worth keeping for me)

- Did you add me as friend? I swear I got your Cordelia as an ally in the VG today. And yeah, orbs are pricey, but at the same time, I play a My Little Pony game that expects you to pay 40$ for a single pony, and that's at 60% off! They throw it in your face like it's a good deal! At least FEH has some return for a smaller investment, although random, at least if I spend 40$ on the pony game I know I'll be getting that pony. I'll stick with giving my money to Love Nikki Dress Up, they know how microeconomics work. Spend 5$ not only do you get the gems you pay for, but you also get 60 gems daily for a month! And usually a free adorable outfit for your avatar. And guess what, things in the game actually cost less than 50 gems typically! (unlike the damn pony game which asks for 20$ for 50 gems and 50 gems buys you 1/5th of a pony)

- Yeah, I send Virion home, I actually like Est, so if I get her at 4* I merge her (3* she gets sent home). She pops up on f2p occasionally for her high res. But like if I get a healer, I'm like, yay feathers!

I have now! I gave her a water blessing recently and she reaches 49 speed with Fjorm support and her +3 Spd seal, pretty sweet. Keep thinking about upgrading the Savage Blow or Poison Strike seals for her but hmmm. Poison Strike can be really helpful for chipping down Wary Fighter armours but Savage Blow lets her decimate a team. She's great for facing those hideous Lightning Breath dragon teams, I have no idea what I'd do without her haha.

These days I only really spent a little on Subeta for Black Friday (I '''collect''' Delish so buy every set during the sale) and sometimes collections; free CSC usually means I can buy battle challengers when they come out. I have like... 80% of the cash shop items now so don't really have to buy much when the sales come around haha. I kinda like the challenge of being F2P. Still need to clear Infernal Takumi but not sure money would help me there hahaha.

Hahaha I've still had plenty of disappointing summoning experiences. I've always felt like it's karma because it took me like, 150 orbs to pull my first 5* unit (a neutral Cordelia). I would say I have a good amount of luck in getting focus units rather than lame pity breakers, which sways things. I've had a few along the way (Seliph and Jakob still haven't been trained to 40) but they could be a lot more frequent.

edit: omg beat Infernal Takumi using my own noggin. I used Brave Brave Lyn, Reinhardt, Azura and PA!Azura. I did inherit Hone Cav onto both Lyn and Reinhardt as they were both running Fortify before (... had to promote one 3* Gunter which cost 2k feathers, hm) and finally inherited Lancebreaker 3 onto Reinhardt from a spare Oscar, which was useful as he actually had to tank a hit from the lance cav. Took me three attempts of random movements to get it to work. I did bust the two blocks on my successful attempt, with Reinhardt and Lyn behind both Azuras. Was sweating at the end as I had two Takumis and the red tome cav swarming in and I needed Lyn's Draconic Aura to proc on Takumi to take him out. Got rid of the first one, then thankfully was able to take out the red cav and reduce the cooldown on Aura so it'd proc on the second Takumi. Thought I was screwed for a second! Lyn was super useful, to be honest. She dealt with most of the mages, the flier, and also the ninja with suspiciously high res and both clerics. Reinhardt dealt with the scraps and was also handy as a Wings of Mercy drop point once his HP was low enough as Lyn remained about the threshold.
