The rival thing seems pretty fun, but i really didnt need MORE stuff to waste time on in this game. Blessings thing seems interesting, I'm glad that the blessings will become more common. Does anyone know if blessings confer bonuses to rival teams on the arena?

Got evil Robin this morning so when I get the TT Eliwood I'll work on them both and POSSIBLY Linina depending on her ivs compared to the 4* one

Question everyone. Should I stick to promoting my Attack boon/Hp bane 4* Lilina or should I swap her out for the 5* neutral Lilina?

Edit: Looks like my evil Robin is a Attack Boon and Res Bane and my Valentines Hector is a res Boon and Hp bane......ouch x_x

- Regular Lilina? Probs +att. She's slow and you want as much power as possible. Although, she's an early hero who's been power creeped, so IMO she's not really worth upgrading, unless you really want to use her. You could merge the two after promoting the +att for some extra stats on her.

I plan to have one upgraded copy of each ( even bottom tier units) just because you never know if they may come in handy or if they will be needed as a bonus unit.

I managed to make use out of Summer Leo for afew Lunitic fights, apparently one of the best ways to kill normal Leo is Summer Leo :p and I've used Narcian and Raven ( who's a speed boon and seems to duo and quad at a high rate) just as much as Hector and Gunnthra at times. The latter were my main greens before I got Hector, Amelia, and other better ones, back then my greens were only a promoted Cheche with good IVs but failed to stay alive and my focus Bowey who's just....yeh.

x_x So I guess I have a knack of making lower tier units work. That said I think i'll focus on the 4* though I may not promote her just yet when I get 20k feathers. Leaning more on maybe Celica or Eliwood....or a healer. x_x Last one seems silly I know but I have only 3 5* healers, would be nice for some veriaty ( or a added hand in squad attack which I still hadn't done)

Maybe she will get a refine one day, who knows! I promoted a +atk -hp a few months ago just because I had like 200k feathers and I didn't know what to do with them. But I never used her except when I leveled her up to 40. I have Celica and Sanaki who are much better and Arvis if I need a red mage who can also heal. Maybe you could level up the 5* and still keep the 4* in case she gets an interesting refine one day, so you could promote her and merge her. She already has sky high attack on neutral, she reaches 50!

I'm pretty sure blessings work on your foes if they meet the requirements (correct season, have legendary hero), while summoner and ally support obviously don't.

Been a little absent from the thread (and Subeta) over the past week as I've been away but I have been plugging away at the TT when I could find time, up to 90k now so shouldn't have any issues reaching 100k before it closes. Also rolled a Grima in about 80 orbs which isn't too shabby, he's +Res -Def which is fine. Only problem is that I really don't have any decent fodder for his A skill. Close Def or Distant Def seem like premium picks and I don't really fancy losing my spare Joshua.

New Takumi is haaard. I lost on my first attempt on Hard, haha, B!Lyn died to the thief and I'm still not entirely sure how. Managed to beat him on Hard and Lunatic afterwards, though, using the standard pony squad. The Corrin and Azura BHB was super tricky too but managed to clear it across all difficulties with the fliers once I put my mind to it.

Excited for the updates, hope Soren's unique weapon is awesome! I've been looking for an excuse to promote him as I seem to pull so many 4* copies and I really like his character in the games.

the limited dancer restriction for rival domains is neat... i'm curious to see how they're going to handling the mode, since i think they're committed to the small map? maybe it's going to be like squad assault o:

i'd wait until you get someone else to fodder since joshua's hard to come by, but distance defense + close defense + noontime is maybe too good? my grima chewed through most of takumi's lunatic map by himself, which... does not bode well for the coming arena season haha. i'm going to stop cursing myrrh and start cursing grima for sure ;x;

What kind of team are you running him with? I think he works better with armour comps, personally, as one movement is such a downer but at least we can move like a walking tank and fire off specials thanks to Vengeful Fighter. Armoured Boots are of course an option but they seem a little restrictive, good for dragon teams but mine is still very '''meh''' anyway.

he doesn't have a set team just yet, i did the ghb with grima / fjorm / drag-back bot xander / reinhardt (and i just realized i forgot to change the boys' cavalry buffs to something grima and fjorm could use, whoops) and i'm shuffling him in where i can to grind sp for his c skill...

ultimately he's either going to a mixed team with reposition (or maybe guidance) or an armor team, since i don't want to swap close def for armored boots. (i wouldn't swap seals for a dragon team either, tbh! i'd wait for myrrh to come home and give her the guidance seal before i'd give grima boots, i don't like babysitting the hp requirement. that's just me tho.)

- That's kind of what I figured. I should probably use more of my blessings. I'm not going to have an arena defence award this week. Oh well. I'm excited for Soren's unique weapon too. I always tend towards '''Emblem''' teams (+ dancer), just love those super buffs a little too much hah. On an armour team he's gonna play similarly to Winter Tharja, who has proved pretty invaluable to me over the past couple of months, so she's my inspiration. And yeah, keeping that 100% threshold is just too much stress to be worthwhile. I've stuck them on Effie for now as Brave Lance+ destroys on initiation but shrug.

Yeah, Eirika will be a good one too! My 5* is +Atk/-Spd but I have a couple of decent 4* ones, I think, that I've held off upgrading as she's a little superseded these days.

New banner was a nice surprise this morning! Some nice units up for grabs. I'm pulling reds in hopes of DD3 from Celica (I never pull for fodder but I'm never gonna build this Grima otherwise) but I'll be happy with Zelgius, too. My barracks are at a continuous breaking point, though. 475 units... might just bite the bullet and go up to 500 whoops. Pulled a +Atk Lucina on my free pull, which was a big surprise, and also have come across my first 4* Soleil so far.

edit: Ended up pulling a +Res -Atk Zelgius HMMMMMMMMM.

Got Zelgius on my free summon on this banner. Pretty pleased with this (he was the only unit I didn't have in this banner)! +Spd/-Atk but I guess he will still be usable. I want the same kind of luck for the Legendary banner! _

Also I think this is the first time we're going to have a GHB and a TT unit in a gauntlet? I guess Possessed Takumi will be a popular choice since everyone will have him! then Male Robin is available at 3* too... Maybe another male can win the gauntlet again! XD I'm probably going with Celica though!

- I don't know what the IVs on mine are. She was one of my first 5* units. I mostly use her for her stat buffing abilities while training new uints, but she has come in handy in other situations. She was an invaluable part of the team for the last chapter lunatic maps taking out Grima, her relatively high res and the fact that I gave her triangle adept allowed her to wall him while Michaiah took care of the sisters.

I can't decide if I want to try to pull on this banner or not. I don't have any of the units for this Voting gauntlet except dead pineapple, and a shitty 4* Robin. In terms of supporting the units, the only one I'm remotely interested in joining is Zelgius, but I don't really care to pull for him, and trying to use an armour as your bonus ally in voting gauntlet is trying. I lost a lot of battles trying to use Amelia. I guess Zelgius does have a DC weapon, but I might just continue to save my orbs and hope for bonuses to buff my scores.

- He's the first GHB unit (Seems BK will be joining him, Hardin's getting cut), but it's not the first f2p, Shanna has that. (and she won that gauntlet, so there is something to be said about the unit availability, and Takumi, I imagine, is more popular than Shanna... but that also could be why she beat him. Multipliers are OP) Catria was also f2p, she did less well... but she really didn't fit the theme of that gauntlet.

Interesting theme for a gauntlet, I wonder if that means we'll get a big brother gauntlet somewhere down the line starring Xander and Michalis. I will probably go OG Takumi as I've already got my copy built.

I got a Gordin for my free pull. It's weird, up until a few weeks ago, I had never pulled him, and now he won't leave me alone. It's tempting to see if I can get another Celica for DD3 but I am saving orbs for now.

Congrats on the freebie pull! I'm honestly a little bummed at -Atk Zelgius because I'm like... well... why would I just use the BK? BUT I guess Warp Powder could prove pretty fun and maybe I'll pull another, on this banner or another, to merge him up. I never pull for IVs but arghhh of all the possibilities, -Atk?!

Yeah TA3 seems like a nice bet on her to complement buffing. Mine has.... Spd +3 hahaha, she was done on the cheap and probs one of my first projects (took me ages to give her a special too). I was a little more wary back in those days. :P

As a f2p I tend not to care too much about IVs- I'm just glad I got one. I'm not even sure I'm going to use him a lot except for the Armor Emblem quests! I'm a bit more picky when it comes to units available at 3-4* rarity though.

And I can't afford to pull more on this banner anyway- I want to try my chance at Summer Corrin on the legendary banner if she gets in :P

- She only has TA2, cus I haven't pulled any freebies with TA3. (only Sanaki, whom I'm not feeding to anyone atm) Her B skill is swordbreaker (again, just 2), and I got rid of Pivot for rally def (which is great for training lower level units, but I've been wishing I had it on her as I've been using her a bit on this TT still for training up lower units, but since I've been doing much higher level than my training unit (to avoid over levelling by the end) I've been wishing she could pivot through and block for them too.

- There's some vids for F2P on lunatic now, I did one yesterday without any trouble. Finding a good strat for infernal is proving to be difficult though. Most require 5* promotions. You were planning on making Takumi 5* anyway though right? That's what the going infernal strat requires.
