So I'm unable to invite anyone into my private group. Anyone else having this issue?

It's been a problem for a while. The best work around until they can fix it is to change the group so joining has to be approved by the admin, and send a link to the group to the people you want to invite, through a comment or smail.

I wrote a ticket about it, since I didn't know that this was a common issue. I was suggested by staff to write here. I am having issues with my private forum group, Button Eyes. The "Joining Permission" section is set on "Invite only", but I can't invite anyone, because the string where I should put names in is too thin and doesn't allow me to write anything, I can't even click it. Click here to look at screenshot.

I tried editing the section, and then coming back to invite only, but nothing changed. I also tried clearing my cache, but I still have this issue (both on my computer and mobile). I use Google Chrome (OS: Windows 8).

@Cresenta I was having this problem as well!! If you go to whatever group you want to invite people, in the upper right corner somewhere should be a search box. Click in there and hit tab. Type the username and hit invite and it should send an invite to the person. You won't be able to see the username you're typing, though. That worked for me at least. n_n

What a pain in the butt! I think for now I'll keep to the admin approval method, but thanks for letting us know that anyway.

These are broken for me and my forum group forums are all black too.

I'm seeing the same things as Cresenta and i hard refreshed and cleared my cache no fixes. Same way both in firefox and chrome.

it seemed to work fine on my end, the box is now big enough to input names and furthermore i had the red warning that i have invited you (which btw you can quickly accept and i will remove you in a bit) so if you did get it on your end, i'd say it's all good, thanks for checking in!! n_n
