((OOC: no idea what to say so lol er, yeah not ignoring anyone at all. ))
"All right." After shaking her hand he moved to get the gear he needed. His boots would do very well in the snow which was why he had worn them. It still felt awkward though, as he tugged the jersey on over his coat, not really surprised when it seemed to magically size itself. It was a magic school after all. Merlin, his hair was going to be such a mess after wearing a helmet for any amount of time. Then, Beth was it, explained the game. Seemed simple enough right? Ha.
Maddox hurried to grab some snowballs, making a pouch of his wide scarf to hold as many as he comfortably could and still be able to move. Then he ducked behind one of the blocks of snow and waited for his team to get into position too.
(OOC; I haven't posted so long, been learning, so I'll include my HA again. :'D Maybe I have to edit my post when Fade is around to make a comment about the protego charm. :'D )

Elizabeth took a place on the blanket Fable offered her and pulled another one to her because she assumed that it would be getting a bit cold if she was sitting here for a while. "Thank you", she replied and looked at the small group. It was amusing how quick the council grew and someday they would discuss some different topics as well.
Elizabeth remembered that she had seen Fade - maybe at Hogsmeade? - but she didn't really know him. "Everyone can sit here", she said friendly and thought that this spot must have looked like some kind of Slytherin-exclusive spot. She chuckled a bit at that thought and listened to the conversations. "Maybe we should get a room that's protected with a password. Perhaps they have a portrait we can use.", she suggested, "don't get me wrong, but you, Eirik, make every effort to invite potential members to the council...it would have been kind of useless if everyone would be able to attend the meetings." And being so secretive would make the Council seem mysterious and interesting, from which their purpose would only benefit. Her gaze wandered to the Protego-Charm. "It looks pretty solid", she reckoned and hoped it would last. Snow wasn't something the liked - atleast not in her face - so she was a bit nervous when Eirik packed the snowballs, preparing to dodge if necessary.
Fade quietly began wondering to himself if perhaps Eirik () was even older than he seemed. But the comment about not wanting to go to prison caused Fade to chuckle. A big part of doing something you aren’t supposed to be is not getting caught at it. Not that Fade was any great example, after all he had already netted himself a detention or two this term alone.
He was glad didn’t make fun of him for his silly attempt at matching. “You know is really great at hair charms. I’m sure she would love to have someone to practice with… someone who wasn’t me.” He grinned remembering the last time he got bopped on the head for not taking her hair parties seriously enough. “And yeah, dye is pretty weird. Easier if another person puts it on I think.” His cheeks turned a bit red. “My mom used to use it quite a bit… on me.” He frowned. He didn’t go on to say how much of a relief it was to be able to be himself at school. At least for the most part.
“Alright, we’re ready!” He called to Eirik, and soon there were snowballs floating through the air. Fade bit his lip hoping the charm was solid. The first snowball ricocheted off the Protego causing a ripple above them in the air. A bit closer than Fade anticipated it would be. The second snowball however whizzed past his head. “Er... Guess it’s kinda small.” He scooted over a bit while the third and fourth snowball were deflected, yet another sailed past them to the right side of the blanket.
“Now I the only question is… How long’s it guna last?” He glanced at Elizabeth inquisitively, but didn’t actually expect an answer. Fade guessed it would have something to do with the actual number of times the barrier was hit. At least they couldn’t say he hadn’t tried. “OK, ok!” He waved down Eirik who was maybe having a little too much fun throwing snowballs at them. “Thanks man. If we stick to the blanket we should be good. Or well. I guess we’ll see how crazy it gets out there.” It looked like the teams were getting ready to begin. Fade leaned back and gladly soaked in some of the warmth from the blanket.

Kyros opened his box expectantly, finding a white ball inside. Black looks better on me, but oh, well. Smiling defiantly, he could see Magnus' ball was black, as was the one held by the antissocial Slytherin nearby with whom he was chatting. "Looks like we will be facing each other, then. Good luck, Magnus, you'll need it~" He said teasingly, keeping an eye out to see who would be on his team. Their prefect Poppy, the angry-looking Maddox and miss Katsumi were the ones he recognized nearby. And Poppy and Maddox seem to be patching things up. Good. Potential team weakness solved.
He was brought back to Earth from his careful, not at all drammatic planning by Elizabeth's arrival, and he quickly moved to greet her. "Hi Elizabeth! Nice to see you here. Come to see us win, I suppose." The boy sounded as innocent as a bunny, blinking his long eyelashes at the so-called cheerleaders in a playful way. "It's sad you folks won't join, though. Guess I have to wait for the official Council snowball war then." With a slight pout and exaggerated sigh, he looked like the perfect moody teenager. "Well, at least I hope we can put up a good show for you folks."
He could hear the prefect asking them to get in position, so he waved at his friends before going towards the spot assigned to his team. Getting on the gear and jersey, the boy smiled at his approaching teammates. They all seemed capable, and he knew they would need it to face the other side. "So, let's do our best and have some fun, shall we?" He asked them playfully, in an attempt to break the ice among them and get everyone's attention for the serious matters. "I was thinking we should split the team between those who will protect the base and those who will attack beforehand. Then we can have an idea of who and how we'll fetch snowballs, how we're going to hold position, attacking methods, and we can have more coordination between what we're doing and not leave gaps the other team can use." It occurred to the male he was maybe being too serious, so he smiled afterwards to sweeten the idea a bit. "Just some suggestions, of course~"

Poppy thanked Eirik () and and carefully folded her scarf on top of her shoes. Fable looked rather fetching in her outfit; it was perfect for watching games in the snow.
Snowball in hand, Poppy listened to Kyros intently. She was glad that someone was taking charge and organizing. "Sounds good to me. I'd like to run around and start throwing snowballs at the other team. I'll get too impatient waiting for them to cross over." She noticed Maddox readying their side of the field with a pile of his own snowballs.
(OOC: How do the White Abraxans feel about calling Tails in the coin flip? )

Maddox couldn't help but feel a small thrill of excitement, the tense atmosphere hard to ignore. He glanced up as a few of the others joined him, nodding a greeting but it wasn't quite as stiff as before. He listened to Kyros' idea and frowned thoughtfully. "We each have five on our teams. What if one defends and the others go out in pairs. One for attacking and one to defend their partner?"
[OCC: Sounds fine to me. ]
Kyros was glad that his suggestions were well-received by his teammates, and that they had a good discussion."But the one person in the back could be easily overwhelmed by the other team, no? I like your idea of having pairs, though, we could adapt it and leave two defenders and three for attacking. That way the two defenders could back up each other, and it's harder for them to just sneak through one side of the field..." Strategy had been one of the very few things Kyros enjoyed of his family teachings, and he was happy to put it to use now, even if it was just about a harmless snowball fight. "As for attack, I think we can push forward in three directions and have them split up trying to catch us."
(OOC: Tails is a good one!)

((I think thats everyone, sorry not all here today.))
Fable smiled in agreement to Fade. "It was a bloody mess...the dye I mean." She laughed a bit at called out to Eirick. "If you hit me...I wont be happy..."
She nodded to Elizabeths comment, "Thats not a bad idea, finding a room that is password locked. Though really if anyone wants to help make the world a better place...well." she shrugged. She leaned back as well to enjoy the blankets warmth.

Eirik laughed. "Don't worry Fable, I am not aiming for face shots or anything, just near misses."
Eirik thought the shield would hold up well enough, but since Fade had asked for help..."Fade, if you are worried about duration, we can always cast a protego totalum charm, that way we know it will last quite some time. Have you learned that version..?
Eirik looked to the group. "Or do any of you know it..?" he asked with a smile. He of course, did, but he wanted everyone to have the opportunity to display their knowledge, it was good for self esteem.
After the shield charms were sorted out, he sat back down on the blanket. He laughed. "Yes, Elizabeth, I do seem to want to invite everyone in, but...on my terms. As guests, privileged ones at that. A room with a password lock is essential, and only the council will know it, which means when our guest comes in to speak with us, one person will lead them down to it and the door will already be open by another member. No one but the Council knows the password."
He looked thoughtful as the contestants began to set up formation on the field. "I think, though, as far as the Council is concerned...eventually we will want to...recruit followers, people who feel the same way as we do, to help spread our message, work for us to make the changes we want made. The Council would be the head of the organization, but every good leader knows how to delegate and use whatever their strengths are to accomplish their goals."
Eirik inwardly laughed, knowing exactly what he sounded like laying out the Council as he was. He couldn't help it if people assumed the worst about an organized, mysterious group of slytherins talking about change. What was that muggle saying 'there is no such thing as bad publicity.' Well, there might be, but he would change all of that...eventually.

Black Abraxans will win the first match (so one or more players grab the White Abraxans' flag)
If we can finish roleplaying the result of first game we can continue with the following activity))
⭐White Abraxans
⭐Black Abraxans
Fable gave a little smile and looked down. She knew he wasnt going to hit her...but she felt she should warn him.

Eirik smiled at fable, and then watched the competition. He was impressed and amused by everyone participating, it looked like they were having a lot of fun, but also getting intense. When the match was finally finished, he stood up and cheered for the winning team.
"Congrats to the winners, good job everyone !!!" he said.
Then he smiled at his group. "Does anyone know where the next activity will be held..? I hope we can find as good of a vantage point there as we did here. "

Fable cheered for the the teams and clapped. She was having fun watching it. She looked at Eirick and shrugged. She had no idea what the plan was from here, but it was fun watching.

Aria looked on in excitement as her team edged nearer and nearer the white flag. "We might just win this one!" She exclaimed, her breath coming out in puffs of hot air that quickly turned to mist.
Aria watched as her teammates rallied around and took the white flag in triumphant victory!

Magnus cheered as his team won. It seemed to have gone by in a whirlwind.
(OOC: I didn't get a chance to post yesterday and seeing as we know the winner of the first game already, I'll skip posting 'properly' until the second game appears)

Fade shook his head in response to Eirik's () question about the protego totalum. That sort of magic was way beyond his own abilities. Eyeing Eirik a little more carefully, Fade again found himself questioning the other boys age. But before he worked up the courage to actually ask, the group started talking about something called “the council”. Not wanting to interrupt Fade kept quiet and focused his attention on the match.
The snowballs were flying every which way and people were being knocked out of play left and right. It didn’t take long for the Black team to storm the field and claim victory, although it was too close to call from Fade’s perspective. When it was safe to step out from behind the barrier, he jumped up and clapped for his friends. “Great job guys! That was wild!”
( didn't ping everyone but everyone is included if they like n.n )
The White Abraxans did their best, but luck just wasn't on their side. Once the other team captured their flag and won the first task, Kyros let himself at least catch his breath. He was flushed, snow melting in his curls, and mora than a tad bit disappointed. He had fun, no doubt, and he wouldn't hold against any of his teammates or the other team, but he was a very competitive person. Certainly, if they lost, there was some issue at fault with him. If only he had been faster, or just dodged more snowballs, or at least done something...
"Sorry, things didn't work out this time." He told his teammates, apologetic. "I'll try harder the next task."

[and anyone else lol ]
Maddox had never really done this before and as much as he liked to be in charge of certain things he also knew when to 'delegate' as his father would say. "That sounds fine," he agreed. After that it was sort of a free for all no matter the plan they had. Snow was flying, people went down with flailing limbs and he took a snowball to the face right near the end. He was out and he spluttered, his cheeks flushed as he wiped off the mess, unsure who had done it. Then it didn't matter since their flag was stolen first. Kyros and he were the same in this. Maddox hated to lose, he'd been told enough times that losers never got far in life. Only- he'd actually had fun so he was feeling a little off balance. "We win as a team... and we lose at as a team. It's not anyone's fault." They'd just try harder next time. Then he turned and nodded to the other team, though his dignified look was rather ruined with his hair falling from its tie and snow clinging to odd places.
